To be a young black woman in the entertainment industry at the time she came uwas an extremely hostile position to be in, and Oprah was treated as a second class talent her entire formative years in the industry, but she fought back hard and got hers, unfortunately once she got hers, she was never able to flip that switch... Really loved the BEP with Fergie days, my college and party days and they made the parties more fun with their brilliant tunes. Tbh they both Fergie and BEP saved each other, not just one or the other as you can see neither reached such heights since they broke up. Just like Will, he also became one of the coach of the Voice Philippines. J. Rey Soul auditioned in the Voice PH where Apl became her coach. Their performance with her during the closing of Southeast Asian Games, for me was one of their best live performances after Fergie left.

This was before fergie, i don't revel the name of the young lady who sang with them at the time. She was amazing, as well as the rest of the group. It was a small venue, holding about 300 heads, they had ... a live band, a beat box, a dj, breakdancers and shorty on vocals. It was THE BEST LIVE HIP HOP SHOW I'VE SEEN TO THIS DAY. BEP will always have a special place in my heart for that show. Amazing.

JT definitely made "where is the love" the huge hit that it became. When I first heard it, his chorus is what got me interested in learning more about the band.
When I listen to them, I feel nostalgia, joy and much more. I miss the old times with Ferguie. They're still good, but has never been the same since she left. They combine really well together. Fergie's solo projects aren't that good. What I think is most impressive about the BEP is that they can mix sounds, recreate, make new different vibes and everything work great. Masters of The Sun, has some cool songs with good reflections. Translation and Elevation have happy party vibes that make people feel like dancing.

@@TOm-hr2mb I beg to differ. I've known of her since Wild Orchids and those were girls with serious vocal chops. She can truly hold her own, but singers have "on it" moments and "off" moments. Her "off" caught her at a really bad time.

Without The Black Eyed Peas, we wouldn't have some of the best songs of the 2000s in return i probably wouldn't be into hip-hop or Electronic Music.
When I listen to them, I feel nostalgia, joy and much more. I miss the old times with Ferguie. They're still good, but has never been the same since she left. They combine really well together. Fergie's solo projects aren't that good. What I think is most impressive about the BEP is that they can mix sounds, recreate, make new different vibes and everything work great. Masters of The Sun, has some cool songs with good reflections. Translation and Elevation have happy party vibes that make people feel like dancing.
