I read a book in the library when I was 10 years old about AC. I remember it having quite a significant affect on me and set me on a path to research other, more lighter magical arts.
Lana Del Rey: Get Free "finally gone is the burden of the Crowley way of being that comes from energies combined" that song is my favorite, theres a magical incredible feeling i get when i listen to it
I never thought that you could top last years haunted house trip but this year is amazing. On a side note my wife of 42 years (we grew up near Hollywood) has a rubber bat that she named Mr Crowley for about 42 years. Thanks again for the great videos and enjoy your time there,be safe too
1:01 Keen eye, Jessica! 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻 The Golden Dawn also included A.E. Waite as a member--the man responsible (in part) for the creation of the iconic Rider Waite Tarot Deck. He worked with the artist/theatrical designer Pamela Colman-Smith--a remarkable woman who was not given access to Golden Dawn 'membership', even though her psychic skills could run rings around the much-lauded Waite. Not only did she design that card deck (78 Degrees of Wisdom, indeed); even though she was following Waite's lead in assigning 'meaning' to each card, especially the Major Arcana of 22 cards; she alone was responsible for the creation of the images on the 56 Minor Arcana cards--which tarot card artists have used as a template to this day! Prior to these images, the Minor Arcana resembled a deck of playing cards, with only the numbers (1 through 10) suits (Wands, Cups, Swords, and Pentacles), and the sole 'picture cards' (Page, Knight, Queen, and King) displayed--no clues as to meaning, or interpretation. It would be ENTIRELY AWESOME if you could, one day, do a deep dive into the history of this amazing, visionary artist. Psychics, Mediums, Artists, Designers have all taken their cue from her work. It is said she died penniless, living with a female companion somewhere in Cornwall. Her artwork has vanished, without trace. It would take a Grimm sleuth to unlock her story. Michael and Jessica...?
Love Pamela 💖 I have a biography of her which was included in a commemorative box set of the Rider Waite Tarot deck given to me by my daughter for my birthday 2 years ago. 🌹
Another Comment suggested reading the Wikipedia bio for Pamela Colman-Smith: further insight, at your fingertips! :D That deck inspired Led Zep, too--if you've seen their film, 'The Song Remains the Same'', each band member chose a different 'character to play--and Jimmy Page chose Pamela Colman-Smith's Magician card (Major Arcana card Number 1) to represent himself. That connection runs DEEP! 🥳 @@CosmoKramer369

Nice! Are you going to visit more Crowley sites? Like Boleskine (which burned down), or the college he went to. Apparently he had kept a human skeleton in his dorm. If you go to Italy there is the infamous compound he, his wife and some colleagues lived in.
The Abbey of Thelema, Crowley and his Followers were kicked out of Italy by Mussolini. It is still around and there are Mystical Paintings (more like murals really) from that era (1920's I Believe) on the walls, and for an Abandoned place they are in pretty good condition too!!!
Another brilliant vlog in the UK - thank you. Crowley was an interesting character who was a bit of a charlatan but influential in pop culture - loved character Crowley in Supernatural tv series. Crowley was also seen by author Dennis Wheatley as a very dangerous man and was used as Basis for villain in Hammer Films classic “The devil rides our” starring Christopher Lee playing hero for a change - filming locations for this film might be a good option for future vlog. Hope you both come back to UK soon.

I first heard it in Jr. high school in about 1981 or 1982 .There is a song by Ozzy Osbourne named Mr. Crowley. The lyrics were unusual so i looked him up in history books, because there was no internet back then. His life was rather strange.
Love this. Aleister Crowley, a practitioner of ‘magick’ (as he spelled it) and he called himself the Beast 666. Other Crowley sites are The Golden Dawn (George’s Café) former London temple, at 36 Blythe Road, Hammersmith. And Crowley’s Flat on Jermyn Street near Piccadilly Circus where he lived in the 1940s. The house Crowley owned on Loch Ness is called Boleskine House. He performed a month's long ritual there where he was attempting to make a demon his servant. He got called away from the ritual prematurely and didn't wind down the ceremony properly, and it's believed he left a doorway opened on that property that has never been closed. It is a bit tricky to align, but you can get to the picture that was taken right in front of the entrance so you can see the corridor and stairs. Thank you guys for the very interesting episode :)
Fun commentary. Aliester in my belief really felt like well, as in the movie that we are going in circles. He felt that something has to put an end to the cycle. I feel that way also. And from what I gather he felt there should be no binding rules on white or dark Magick. Just do it out of love. I really like your sharing where this took place. I never heard this story before.
So happy that you've made it over here to the UK and amazing to see you feature Aleister Crowley - can we see more Crowley associated places, how about Tredegar house near Newport in Wales?
Big crowley reader and this is amazingly fascinating 💕 Excited to delve into this location, wish i could see it for myself! Would be excited to see more like this! Common misconception is that all of his works are hedonistic and dark arts, but he has quite a lot of light magick and protection writings.
You both look like you are really enjoying England. Crowley was definitely a very interesting character. I was just doing some research into Jack Parson's life and he was associated with Crowley. Safe travels to you both!
Started studying The Golden Dawn in high school and read a book of correspondence between Yeats and Maud Gonne in Women of the Golden Dawn. The story of what happened on those stairs has amused me for decades!
I used to be a mentalist, and our secret society (Psycrets) was based in London. Through that art form I became the tech consultant for a TV Show called The Next Uri Geller. And I spoke to Uri afterwards and he invited us to his place whenever we were in the neighborhood. And he said Jimmy Page was/is his neighbour. So I joked: “imagine your Halloween parties you bending spoons Jimmy playing spoons.” And Uri said: “Jimmy is far more capable than that.” Well, we now know why Jimmy lives next door to Uri, they both practice the dark arts 😂
Another great vid guys! ... Just to let you know/remind viewers, over here in the UK that would be the first floor not the second, we have a ground floor and first etc whereas I think in the US the ground floor is your first. I just wanted to highlight that for anyone interested in the video and wanting to pay a visit!*! ❤
I live in Inverness which is very close to boleskine house where crowley lived. I have never managed to visit it properly as it was a private (very private) dwelling that belonged to among others, Jimmy page. In more recent years it sadly caught fire. The last I heard it was up for auction. I hope that one day it is made open to the public!

I read some Byron, Shelly and Keats. Recited it over a hip hop beat.

So I joked: “imagine your Halloween parties you bending spoons Jimmy playing spoons.”
And Uri said: “Jimmy is far more capable than that.” Well, we now know why Jimmy lives next door to Uri, they both practice the dark arts 😂
Wow very interesting 😮great video 😊thank you
Enjoyed the video you guys are great, keep up the good work. 👍
That period you speak of where there was a huge increasing in occultism occurred under the rare Neptune Pluto conjunction in Gemini.
Great video! I've always been interested in Aleister Crowley. And you've convinced me that a movie about him could definitely have some comic moments.
Another great video guys.
He was a very interesting and kinda weird, great video guys stay safe across the pond and Happy Halloween 👻
so cool guys thank you for the video
I live in Inverness which is very close to boleskine house where crowley lived. I have never managed to visit it properly as it was a private (very private) dwelling that belonged to among others, Jimmy page. In more recent years it sadly caught fire. The last I heard it was up for auction. I hope that one day it is made open to the public!
Love this! Just in the last year have I really started learning the history of Mr. Crowley. ❤😊
