I’ve got a C7 in watkins glen grey, the color matches to my 720s color very well. It absolutely looks beautiful. This is my first corvette and i’ve had just an absolute blast working on this car. Definitely worth it! Every time I get behind the wheel of mine, I feel a different kind of joy and rush that I don’t get from my other cars. It may not be a supercar but you can build this car to be a beast… And especially for someone younger, this is the perfect sports car to keep stock if you need to. It’s an amazing experience !
I go pick up my 2016 Z51 2LT tomorrow it also has the yellow calipers, I’m so excited this is also my dream car and after that scene where you take off after he goes “I forgot my coffee” that’s literally going to be me

Man I love that color scheme black with the yellow calipers. I have a 16 z51 lowered, same upgrades but z06 stage 3 spoiler, stage 2 cam and AFE CAI. I just need headers. Mines an 8 speed auto too but I only made 420 to the tires on pump gas. Dude it’s a sick car I would get ZR1 wheels, the extreme online 3.5 ZR1 front splitter and stage 3 rear spoiler that car would be 🔥🤙🏽
Im owning 17 z06 a year now. My mods are American racing Longtube header. X pipie . No cat. Afe intake. Only thing i complain about it is to power full for street use😂😂
It's true auto is faster, but it's not like you're some serious hard-core street racer. So in any case except for that, manual is better because it's more fun and engaging to drive. If you've never experienced it, you'll never understand. I very much enjoy a clutch and gear shifter. One of the most satisfying feelings ever. There's a good reason autos are cheaper for every performance car. When I was shopping for a Corvette an auto was never considered. Even if it had been half the price I would have passed.
I find it laughable when people who drive manual spout the foolishness. Are you paying his bills? Are you your own man? I don’t know any street racer serious or not who drives a manual and wins anything. Keep grinding your gears and let him live.
Meh, I just bought an auto as I didn’t want to deal with the shifting (had 05 z51 and 06 z06) . Paddle shifters are pretty similar to the stick , same type of feeling
@@5x106 I agrees with you when I took my corvette to a track not the drag strip manual was fun but everyday driving on the road. Police are cracking down in my area spiriting driving so I stick with automatics now.

Yes. Bryce previously had a z51 and his lifter failed, so he went ahead and upgraded to a BTR cam. He also had the trans shudder. Could’ve done an upgraded converter, cause stock converter didn’t like the cam.

Honestly from a base c6 ls3 to base c7 the power is similar. Yes the c7 is far more refined especially with the 3LT interior. Performance is pretty much the same for both cars. They both have the same top speed. The base c6 is the way to go if you want the best bang for your buck especially since the older base c7s are going for over 45k. That the price for a c6 z06 that has more power and lighter. Now the c7 z06 thats whole different story!
Kinda of a waste a 5.0 will gap it all day.
