    Nice Jersey, I like how the top of the N is shaped like a wrench. Never noticed that before. Vise is in really nice shape. Great deal on the Estwing and cool looking Vise Grip. I can see why you bought that ICE wagon. You don't see a lot of them. My neighbor used to be the Chief at my Fire Station and he collected FD memorabilia. His wife gave me his collection and there were about 15 cast iron Horse drawn Fire Engines. They look good in a Man Cave. Great haul and video. Stay safe Brother!

      Mike,Mike,Mike! That's funny I never noticed it either until now. That little wagon is in pretty good shape so I thought what the heck it's cool and I kinda collect those cast toys. Hope you have a great week Brother. I'll catch up with ya later!

    You always bring home the most cool, useful tools. The Proto ratchet wrench is the same model I first rebuilt/cleaned up when I got into the the hobby. It started me off on a hobby that has provided a lot of fun and the satisfaction of making neglected tools useful again. I also like the Fleet box, just because metal tool boxes are cool. The vise and Starret punch are also great finds.

    • @Uwannawatch
      @Uwannawatch  19 днів тому

      Hey Pat! That's pretty cool. I was fixing tools just to use them for work back when I was younger I couldn't afford new ones and now It is just for a hobby. Life is funny like that. It's hard to pass up a good metal tool box that's for sure. Saw 3 beauty Kennedy boxes today but they were out of my price range..of course I had to get the vise..LOL. Take care Buddy I'll catch up with ya later.

Can't pass up any wax for a buck and I've been using it for ages..it's amazing for refinishing furniture and I missed out on another punch that day..Take it easy Brother I'll be cruising your shop in a bit see you got a hatchet project going on.

    🎉Very nice Estŵing. That is a favorite light duty size for me. I usually gift 16 oz to my young grandsons, the smaller size is more practical for wee hands.
    I don't recognize your SK ratchet. I purchased 3 SK 72 tooth ratchets in the mid 1980's. They were the first maker that I knew about to introduce that fine of a ratchet head. I have a standard length 1/4 and long handled 1/4 and 1/2 versions. They were my daily users until I upgraded to Snap-On. Mine have very slim handles, which I like. They aren't the best ratchets compared to today's options, but they perform well, and they are a pleasure to use. I have broken the reversing tab that operates the pawl, but the Snap-On version had the same failure issue. My SK reversing switch would frequently loosen and skip. Torquing the screw binds the action. When repairing a Snap-On version, I realized that they secured the screw with loc-tite. A drop of blue resolved my SK issue. I was embarrassed that I hadn't thought of that solution on my own.
    The classic Proto ratchet was a one-time favorite of mine. The coarse ratchet count and the wide head have long relagated my Proto's to warming space in the tool chest drawer. I quit paying attention to Proto ratchets. Have they ever upgraded this classic design?
    Did Dunlop supply Sears vises? I have a 1942 Craftsman drill press that appears to be equipped with motor. It is a Dunlop. I understand that motors were frequently an aftermarket purchase in that era.

      Hey Paul, from what I have heard Dunlap was the economy brand for sears.
