That’s it Phil 👍 . After receiving a comment from Darren I share his tip of travelling home with cleaning solution in the cassette. In fact I now travel both ways with cleaner in an attempt to keep the cassette super clean. I’m trying premium dishwasher pods in hot water at the moment, so yet to see how they perform long term. Thanks for watching. Phil. Cheers, Rob
Thank you for your comment 👍. I use the graduations on the side of the bottle simply to keep the cap clean. By the way, in our Waleswood caravan and camping park video I show my new way of keeping the cassette clean. Cheers, Rob 🙂
250ml is a great top tip Rob. I use the Thetford Cassette cleaner too but had not considered getting 4 cleans in the way you recommend. Thanks for that. Cheers Dave & Helen 👍
Hi Dave & Helen, Yes, four uses makes it economical and it still does the trick. However, Certainly going to give Darren Butler’s comment / tip a go next time. Thanks for tuning in again and all the best, Rob
The bottom line is Peter, I’ve now followed the example of one of my viewers and that is to travel home with the cleaning solution in the cassette. It works even better this way. Best regards, Rob
how many no2 uses do you find it takes to fill the casette? or mixed 1 and 2 uses. also do you use the thetford loo roll that breaks up easy or do you just use any loo roll? thanks for the vid
I’ll start with the easy bit Damiex. We use Andrex or Cushelle toilet roll and never had a problem, but we don’t buy Thetford as it is expensive. As for the mixed cassette contents I generally empty it three or four times during our five night stay. It all depends on whether we stay in the caravan on rainy days. We never use the site facilities. Hope this bog🚽 standard information helps. Cheers Rob
Cheers Rob
That’s all I need to know is to cover the square

In the screw top / cap on the pipe of the cassette, there is a measuring guide with the 3 different levels for the chemical
