I saw George here in Indianapolis at the Convention Center. Afterwords, we went to a bar called the Eagles Nest. We arrived and low and behold, who was there but Lonesome George. Yes, he was by himself, with a shot glass in front of him. We sent a shot over to him, he smiled and waved thanks.
George was a very big part of my early years. Made it home, many a night, by cranking up his music. It always kept me going, sometimes a bit too fast, & never let me down. Used to patronize a little bar in Augusta, down on Walton Way near 15th St, called the "Georgia Moon". Back then, the legal age was 18. It was a bar tradition that the last song on Saturday night was always, "One Bourbon, One Scotch, One Beer". Good times & good memories. Cheers!🍻
George and Sammy! Awesome ❤
I'm an old fart now and I've been to hundreds of concerts. I worked summer jobs at Merriweather Post Pavilion in Maryland throughout college and got in free and saw just about every artist and band that was around in those days. But one of the best shows I ever saw was George Thorogood and the Destroyers at the Baltimore Civic Center. He was amazing, all over the stage and the band was tighter than a gnat's ass.
As for this interview, Sammy should have done his homework. It's obvious he didn't know much about his guest and tried to fake it.
I'm BIG fans of these two BadAss ROCKERS 🎸🎶
Rock on George..... True rock and roll legend!!!
I remember george coming out on stage and playing steve miller's guitar from behind at shoreline.
I'll have one Bourbon, one Scotch, and one Cabo Wabo Tequila 🤪 I saw George open for The ROLLING STONES in 1981, Arizona Sun Devil Stadium. He and the band completely DESTROYED the crowd. Better get a dog house for two, because hot dog Sammy is movin in. 🤟
One of my fav's. Just Awesome! Thank you ❤

I love this video !!!! Wow, I never truly appreciated Elvis for his talent ❤
I'll never forget seeing George at the Merriweather post pavillion, in my 20's...my then husband had way too much to drink and he wore I was looking at George, he was looking at me, and I was leaving with HIM, after the show. 😂. He was PISSED. 🤣
Oh hell yes. That ROCKED.
