I heard an interview from Jeff Nichols a couple days ago that said he would be releasing the audiotapes of the real Kathy so we can really see how well Jodie nailed the accent.
My dad was from south chicago heights from back in the 50s and 60s thats how he talked he was a biker , Tom Hardy nails it looking foward to this. Such a interesting time as well in the world .
Anything with Tom Hardy, Austin butler and the brilliant jodie comer in has got to be worth watching loved sons of anarchy and mayans mc so can't wait to see this.
I watched an interview with Jeff about meeting the actors and discussing participation in the film with them. He spoke about everyone with excitement and delight. Jeff was very complimentary of the actors' talent. I was very pleased with his thoughts about Hardy. Tom is my favorite actor.👍🔥
and yet another review where Mike Faist who is interviewing "Kathy" aka Jodie is not ever mentioned at all. Faist, who the likes of Steven Spielberg said he was considering delaying filming of WSS to accommodate Mike's schedule, is only playing Danny Lyon who wrote the book this film is based on, came off an assignment filming civil rights proponents in the deep south for this project, and actually joined up the bike gang for 3-4 years.
Jeff Nichols has said this movie is from a book of photographs by Danny Lyon. Look for an interview of Jeff Nichols where he explains the concept of the movie, which he wrote the screenplay for.
So this is based off of a book about the Chicago outlaws mc fun fact Ben nicols band lucero has a song called bike riders that seams to be the story line of this film
This biking culture is mostly in the USA... so I find it dificult for the film to do well overseas or even reach international theaters at all... BUT, it looks good.
@@14AspenDrive Ok, then it happens in a few places... still doesn't make it a potential succes... it is still an small nitch... but I actually said the movie looks good.
It's based on a photographer's book of a biker gang not the story That's pretty much fiction This isn't a script full of actual quotes It was inspired mostly by the published book of a photographer's Who followed and hung around a bunch of bikers
Easy Rider was before my time, so I never saw it. I'm not into Biker gangs much, but when it comes to Ghost Rider and stuff like that, there is a certain image of freedom that bikers just have, whether motorcyles or normal bikes. Biking around countries and around the world is adventure and I like reading books about it. Go figure, but "Investment Biker" by Jim Rogers was really good.
This is nothing like Easy Rider They were drug dealers for one and bikers One was a bit of a hippie kinda guy played but Denis Hoper Fonda was the brains of the operation
Tom Hardys doing Reggie Kray as a biker..the walk the smoking the face Is very much like London gangster Reggie Kray with a bit of Robert Dinaro in Bikeriders and a weird accent that will puzzle many he said he worried if it was too bugs bunny lol That's my impression

Only reason I am watching us for Austin Butler
Tom Hardy is doing a full on Brando from Wild one impression even the way he stands and moves like him

Can’t wait to see it! Such a talented cast! :)
Based on the book: Bikeriders by Danny Lyon. Who was a photographer that embedded himself with a motorcycle gang and culture for several years.

Jodie Comer is the master of accents. Can't wait for this movie!
What you see in this movie is the definition of biker gang

I can't wait to see tom Hardy in this movie he is such a great actor.
Jeff nichols brother Ben is the front man of Lucero. they Had a song about this book like 10 or 12 years ago also called bike riders.
Losely based in the early days of the Outlaws MC in Chicago during the early and mid 60s.
I can’t wait!

You don’t think the stars and the interest in the biking culture my sell it over seas?
Bike culture is all over the world, man. There's 5 biker gangs in the smallest city in norway. Just to put it in perspective

In Russia, it’s not a club, but a biker movement called “Night Wolves”. they are known throughout Russia. And they do a lot of good things!!! 👍👍👍🔥

Honestly…I don’t care about Butler in this film. He’s just wayyy too pretty. Can’t wait to see Hardy and Comer though. Counting the days!
It was 60's and 70's bikergangs were bad. 80's proffessionals it was a weekend activity.
Quit calling them “biker gangs!” They’re CLUBS! 😡🤬
They are gangs…
I could do without the commentary.
Tom hardy with an awful Marlon Brando accent
