Normally ow UA-cam slow down their voice recordings to make this horrific drawl so they can get more revenue. It's so nice to hear someone talking at a normal human pace
Really appreciate the recap of the meta towards the end of the video. While it may be excessive to some, it's really hard to find content out there for people who are just getting into the pro scene
I agree that Ball meta was one of, if not the best meta ever in OW1, but Ball meta now would not be the same and wouldn't be as fun. Also back then you would still brawl or Winston on certain maps and to make Ball good enough you'd have to force him to be so strong he'd be a must-pick unlike the OW1 version of the meta.
I’m very confused with the sigma change… but also ig that’s good for me cause I never realised Flux needed LOS but now I’m sad that sog no longer has lifeeeaver counter to sigma flux.
I feel like Ball being really good on some maps but not others isn't the worst thing. For example he got a good amount of play on Ilios and Nepal in OWCS but not much anywhere else because he just doesn't work that well.
I’ve been playing around high plat and probably 50% of games the enemy tank starts on hog, and then more swap over cos I play monkey. So I would definitely say the hog meta is here
Remember that when people talk about Hog being good, it's usually in the context of ranked. Hog is almost always pretty terrible in organized play, only works in ranked due to the chaotic nature down there. Ram is strong for brawly compositions on short / brawl maps. Ram replaced Orisa after her nerfs during the previous patch and Ram only benefitted from this Tank buff patch with Armor and everything else.
losers queue was real i can confirm. before the mid season balance patch i was doing terrible, now im doing fine slowly climbing... ok it may not be "losers queue" per say but the match quality before this patch did feel terrible. i played every season of overwatch 2 and the one time i felt like losers queue existed wasn't during season 2, or all the other seasons people said it existed, but it was during the 1st half of this season. my theory is that since everyone's ranks got reset they lost the old data that used to help with determine each players skill level (hidden mmr) but after the patch they used the data they got from the 1st half of this season and the previous season and implemented it into the ranked system, giving people better mach quality idk tho im game theorizing rn, im probably wrong lol
@@Ocie_eSports it wasn't a pattern, it was an instant switch when the update kicked in. like i said maybe it wasn't losers queue, but just teams being more even now. games have been much closer lately too
Flux is also a very strong ultimate though, so I feel it's pretty fair to have an LOS requirement. IF they wanted to buff flux, make it more dangerous (change numbers) but still keep LOS requirement so you can counterplay
Yeah after watching some marvel rivals gameplay, I can’t wait to drop this game, I really hope they make rivals so good to the point where blizzard actually fixes their game, I don’t think rivals will be a permanent thing, but who knows, if the devs of overwatch don’t change something, and open the door for rivals, I mean what choice do I have? Play this bland 5v5 counter swap simulator or the new game with different quirks and mechanics
u speak at a good pace

An overtuned ball meta is what I want. End of OW1 ball tracer meta was probably the single most fun period of the game like, in general since 2-2-2.

great video! Would love to hear more about ur breakdown of the current meta and how pro teams play it/ put their spin on it.
you speak at the perfect pace that I never lost attention nor felt like I was falling behind with what you were saying
Awesome vid man. Keep it up!
Can anyone tell me what the point of shield bashing without rally if it doesent stun?
It does damage, but most of the time at high level, Brig players will use bash as an escape or movement tool
@@Ocie_eSports damn so much has changed since I been gone…. Since I been gone
Yay new upload
Love your content man keep it up! Also good luck with retirement :) loved your coaching vids.
I'm not retired just yet
4:09 i think sigma ult change was too test juno ult:3
I’m very confused with the sigma change… but also ig that’s good for me cause I never realised Flux needed LOS but now I’m sad that sog no longer has lifeeeaver counter to sigma flux.
Youre my new favorite content creator tbh
Why not make flux deploy faster after placed and keep LOS requirement? Similar idea with counterplay.
This would also be a bit better yeah

Good update, why is Ram good now? I saw people like Guru saying a Hog meta was coming but I haven't really seen it.

@@Ocie_eSports I agree
@@yoyocherio yeah, I swear I see hog almost every game (dia/master)

Not gonna lie, it's all in your head. It isn't real and humans just look for patterns when they aren't there.

ur the first person i love hearing yap
the pace was good, just a teensy bit too fast but overall very good.
very good video
Let's be real. Big changes like season 9 will probably only happen every 6 months or so.
Its a biit to fast for me
Man put like a 15 sec after you finished talking so i can like your videos
The sigma buff is because flux is easily countered
