Hi Chandi, the pattern is lovely and the yarn kit colors are amazing. I’m at a junction in my life. My current job is ending and I’m trying to decide whether to retire or find another position. It’s definitely a tough decision. I’m glad you pursued your dream which obviously brings you so much joy. Your passion is evident. And we are all beneficiaries of that passion. Thank you.
I always appreciate how detailed your tutorials are! My dream is to have a small yarn shop with seating for women and men of all ages, to get together to knit and crochet! Id like all of us to share our experience with others to encourage yarn crafts. 😉
I always wanted to do something like you’re doing, but I was a single mom of two kiddos. They took a lot of time. ❤ The dream has changed, but it’s even better. I’m going to retire and move where the children are and absolutely ruin my granddaughter! 🥰🥰🥰
Hi Chandi, I’m so happy to have found you and your company. I live in the middle of nowhere and there is no place to buy yarn that is not acrylic, yuck! The closest yarn store was over 2 hours away in Boise but they just closed this summer, so sad. I’ve been trying to gain courage to have my hip replaced for 2 years now. I finally got the courage and had surgery 2 weeks ago. It’s been hard but I’m so happy I did it and am looking forward to walking without pain. Yay. I’ve been working on the MKAL during this healing process and I don’t know what I would have done without my love of knitting. My grandmother taught me to knit when I was 7 to help combat hospital boredom. I love her for that. Knitting has always been there to help through good and bad times. I love this wrap and can’t wait to order yarn and start on it!
Hello Chandi, I love the colors in this project! Tones of greens, blues & purples are lovely together. I'm recently retired & considering creating crafts to sell locally or teaching crafts. Creativity brings me joy! Congrats to you for making your dream come true & your yarns look exquisite. Thank you for sharing your enthusiasm & encouraging words with us.
What a beautiful pattern and yarn you have created. Your videos make me long to touch all of the yarn and create more beautiful treasures. My dream in life at 72 years of age is to be able to wake up every morning and use my hours to enjoy each day by creating all kinds of artwork, crocheting, knitting, painting, gardening. Thank goodness my health still allows me to do this.
I love your tutorials. My favorite of your yarn so far is 50/50 sw merino silk. It’s my favorite Rock It Tee. I love the vibrant colors you have. I also love watching your bloopers at the end! 🤭 Thank you for sharing your talent and beautiful soul!
Love the pattern, Chandi, and the beautiful message that comes with it from you! I have always dreamed of learning to paint with watercolours, and will finally enrol in a course this fall. I am retired, and only would like to learn painting with watercolour for my own pleasure. In my late twenties, early thirties I had to make difficult decisions and to change careers - from chemical engineer to medical librarian. It was a good choice, and I have no regrets. Following my heart and gut was always better for me than the logical suggestions of well meaning friends and acquaintances 😍.
I close my eyes and I can only imagine... the cold and fresh air of the forest dressed in the intense green of hope, the fine and soft wisdom of the purple tones that protect my soul in the softness of a mild September day. I am overwhelmed by the beauty of simplicity and the delicacy of the fine thread that forms this project as a unitary whole. Personally, I regret very much the fact that I am so far away and cannot access these threads... which I consider to be a miracle in your hands. I've been following your channel for some time and every time it's pure delight, a soulful joy that I can hardly describe in words. I thank you with gratitude for all the beauty you have given me! I send you warm blessings from România, may you be healthy and have everything you want. 🙏❤
I have only just started crochet this year ... Never knew I could do it! Am totally loving it but my other dream is to knit garments! I love what you make & I am wanting so badly to make my dream of being able to knit a reality for me! This shawl in particular & what you said in the intro really resonated with me! It must be time ... ❤ thank you 🙏
I love the boho colors! So pretty! I'm already living my dream - I opened up my own direct primary care practice and love all the extra time it gives me to spend with my patients. I knit and crochet at home for relaxation. :)
A dream I’ve had for years is to learn to spin yarn. After 30 + years I have finally bought a drop spindle and am saving my money for a spinning wheel. ❤️
Hi ! Love this pattern ! My biggest dream is very simple. Hiking one last time with my dad. He's a cancer survivor, when he was young he climbed the Mont Blanc. He learned me who to walk on the montains. The last time he saw all this beautiful lanscape was the year before his cancer, that was twelve years ago. Just my dad, me and the montains.
Another great tutorial! I finally started my first ever shawl! It’s not as scary as I thought it would be! The pattern and yarn colors are gorgeous in this tutorial. Your color palettes are so vibrant and beautiful! I would love to have this palette to make my 2nd ever shawl! Thanks so much for sharing your expertise and for the awesome giveaway!🥰
Hello, Chandi. I am working on the sunset diamonds shawl. I am so loving the gorgeous yarns, beautiful colors in Epochal Hues. I'm having so much fun working up that amazing pattern. And, I can't wait to start on this beautiful wrap. The bobbles look great!! And, you make it seem so easy to do. Personally, my dream, now that I'm retired, is to knit and/or crochet all the time. Thank you for following YOUR dreams. We all benefit. XOXO 💖
I started my small business nearly 2 years ago after deciding to leave my nursing career and was trying to find myself. I soon found a crochet kit at a department store and taught myself to crochet and I fell in lovvvveeeeee. I now know how to knit as well which I loooovvvvveee too! I recently learned Tunisian crochet her and have been relaxing with watercoloring. I want to take a class on watercolor and dive deeper into that as it as become such a calming and meditative experience for me! I also want to learn how to knit cables as I've been intimidated to do so! Thanks Chandi!
As all your videos speak to my heart, this one especially…about overcoming fears. I’m challenged with knowing/wanting to go a more creative route with my life. Yet I feel I need to bite the bullet take classes & study for my advanced registry within my field, to know I can do it & I am worthy. To put my mind at ease & feel freedom to branch out more creatively. Thank you for being the guiding sunshine in everyone’s day 🌞
For the longest time, i didn't think i could knit. Been a crocheter for close to 50 years. Tried knitting with chop sticks during the pandemic and it clicked. Now i have a wonderful interchangeable set, loads of gadgets, more hand dyed yarn than time, and an avid sock knitter. I've thrown in a couple of sweaters and try to learn a new trchnique with each new project. Finished a pair of socks with intarsia yesterday and I'm back working on a brioche shawl. Life is pretty good. Chandi, thanks for inspirational words to begin my Friday.
I recently found your videos and they bring me such joy. I have been working on my small business for six years. The past three I've really been focusing on trying to expand beyond just seasonal craft shows and into more retail places. This spring I was presented with a big opportunity and I took it. It wasn't a permanent installation, but I have been offered a second installation. I'm excited for the continued interest but I'm still working to get out to more retail locations. I frequently question if I should just give up and go back to a regular job where I know I'll get a paycheck every other week, and I know what it will be, but your video is encouraging me to keep trying, and keep pushing toward my dream goal.
What a masterpiece!!! And a great message. I adore you so much and the beautiful yarn and patterns you bring to the world to make it more beautiful! Thank you for that. Love ya!!!
At this point in my life my dream is for my husband and I to be able to retire from the business he owns to be able to enjoy more of the things we love. Our children and grandchildren and travel and hobbies. This looks like such a super relaxing knit! Adding the pattern to my file. And the yarn colors? Oh My Goodness! Gorgeous!!! Thanks once again. Editing to add; I've never done bobbles in knitting (only in crochet) but you've made it look very easy and fun!
I've drooled over EFA yarns for a while. I have to budget for some yarns but they r on my wishlist. I luv the free Knit/crochet patterns Friday. That really helps my budget. I've referred my yarn friends to this site as the quality is extraordinary. For some reason the EFA yarns r super soft like butta. No scratching or rough texture. Thanks Chandi for spreading your love of fiber.
I'm a crocheter who thought I would never knit, but over the past couple years I've wanted more and more to learn to knit so beautifully. It's interesting watching how bobbles are made in knitting versus crocheting. It'll take quite a bit of practice, but I'm nearly ready to dive in.
I’m curious, being a crocheter are you a continental knitter? I was also a crocheter first and then learned to knit. Almost gave it up until someone showed me how to continental. ❤
@@MegaMindyLou I’ve not start learning yet, but was absolutely relieved to discover the continental style when I started watching Chandi’s videos. I hoped to start this fall, but I think it will be my 2024 resolution. 🤞🏼
Thank you so much! This is a beautiful pattern and the yarn is stunning!❤ My dream was to live on a farm. 3 years ago my husband and I bought an old farm and we've been restoring it ever since. It has been a dream come true. I love every moment and couldn't be any happier!❤
Good Morning Chandi, those colors are beautiful. I retired at 52 { I'm 75 now}. I then started my Graphic Art Business, then went on to writing my first book. Now I'm an Author and do Book Covers. Living my happiest and best life.
This pattern has beautiful colors and I love the arrow shape. Thank you for sharing it. Thanks to you and Expression Fiber Arts, I started knitting again. I had been scared to try it because of dropping stitches and during one of your very informative videos, you had said to be fearless and go for it - and I did. I’ve been knitting now for about a year and a half. Thank you Chandi!!
What a gorgeous pattern! Like the udea of using more than one colour. I've always wanted to return to the ocean. My husband has decided that in two years we sell the house and move to be beside the ocean. As long as we are together, life is wonderful.
I'm so glad you took the leap too! You've been such a significant part of my knitting and crochet journey, and I'm truly grateful for you doing what you do and for the spirit in which you do it. My dream since I was very little has been to find something -- a career -- some life's work -- in which I can help others and make a positive difference in their lives. I suppose I'm still searching for that and what that means in practice, but I'm trusting that God will lead me on the right path to that dream. Thank you for the wonderful pattern, and thank you for the passion that you have. It's always an inspiration to me 💝
Thanks for another great pattern & thank you for taking that leap of faith into your business! I love your yarns sooo much! Something that's been heavy on my heart is to be a stay at home mom and home school my 3 kiddos. I pray that God will lead me down the path that best suits the needs of my family 😊 for the moment He keeps my mind at ease knowing to take everything one day at a time as He will provide.
Thank you for the tutorial. I have never tried bobbles, after seeing the tutorial I think I would like to try some bobble patterns. Thank you for showing me they aren't so hard to do.
I love this pattern and I love watching you knit. I just got engaged at 59 years old for the first time and my fiancé has never been married either. He is in his 60s we want to have a big wedding inviting our family family’s families and friends!!
I am also so happy you took the leap all those years ago! I have been gobbling up your yarn for many years. And, as always, thank you for all of the gorgeous patterns and all of your wonderful tutorials you give us. I literally taught myself to knit from your videos! I have always wanted to try making stained glass pictures. The light they project is so soothing. Someday, maybe, if I can put my knitting needles, crochet hooks and spinning wheel aside for a few minutes. Hmmmmmmm
Chandi, thank you for the lovely Pattern 💞 The yarn is my favorite, I had to make more than one serious decision in my life, I am happy that your decision was: not to give up the YARNS❤️
Hello love all you pattern, I always dream of learning to knit, and I have been knitting for 3 years now, I learned watching you and some of the great knitter on you tube, thanks so much for your wonderful pattern and yarn, you keep knitting, I'm keeping watching, God bless you ❤
I've been wanting to skydive. Maybe I will get to it for my 60th birthday - 3 more to go! The bobbles look so fun! I can picture myself knitting this for my best friend!
I have always wanted to learn to speak Spanish. This year, at 52, I finally got the courage to start!!! I listen to Spanish classes and practice while knit. 💖💖💖
Beautiful pattern Chandi! I love the texture the bobbles give it! I’ve had many dreams throughout my life but now that I’m getting close to retirement, my dream is to have health and peace and plenty of time to knit, crochet, cook, learn how to quilt, read, and in live in a very peaceful setting. As I just won your beautiful yarn I don’t want to participate in your giveaway but I do love to answer your questions and share my thoughts. I am so grateful that you followed your dream and started this wonderful company! And you and Tim do it together with your awesome team! Thank you for another lovely pattern! Have a wonderful weekend!🩷🩷
Beautiful fun pattern. I'm finally on the verge of retiring, moved to a 55+ community. I'd like to start taking time for 'moi', which is sometimes hard to do when others depend on me. But I am taking steps to start doing things I've wanted to do for a long time. I signed up to take a Brioche knitting class in 2 weeks. And I intend to take a Fair Isle knitting class after that. I can't wait to knit up a few cute hats with sheep going around (like my friend made several years ago when SHE retired) for my grandchildren. I've also been spending some time in the community pool almost every day. I look forward to continuing these things that I can now do, and make new friends in the process. I have a lot to be thankful for
Beautiful pattern! My dream was to be an RN Wish I had followed through. But I have a beautiful family which I am so thankful for. Thank you for all the positive words you leave us with every week!
Thank you for sharing your positive and uplifting message with us. Always a joy to come to your web site and learn something new. Creating something new each day is a gift. That is my hope and goal , to share the gift of creating.
Always dreamed of having my own crafting (hand-made) business- I love to crochet and still learning knitting- I also make wire trees. Would just love to share my passion with others and bring joy to everyone. Thanks for sharing these patterns and your gorgeous yarn!
I just love your yarn. The bases are sumptuous and the colour are amazing. If I lived in the US I would order non stop. My dream is to one day own my own home with a dedicated room for all my yarn and fabric crafts. Thanks for all the inspiration.
I love the beauty and variety of colours and stitches in the shawl. And I am so encouraged by your videos. I am retired and have many blessings. I would like to learn how to spin my own yard....and maybe even dye it.
I love the symbolism of the arrow, and that Life is our creation! My dream is to learn acoustic guitar to accompany myself singing my favorite songs! I haven’t had a music lesson in decades, but it’s a longing I want to attempt!
What a beautiful pattern, thank you! I recently retired at 70 which was my goal. I am now trying to learn to knit and this pattern looks like something I can be successful at. The colors you used are truly beautiful!
Chandi, you are the most encouraging person I have ever listened to. I sooo look forward to your patterns just to hear your hopeful words. I just want to “FINISH” “ONE” project. I just bounce from one to another, never guide knowing which one I‘ll land on next, and for how long.
Oh my, a dream of mine... I feel like I'm in a crossroads at my job, and trying not to take the safe route. I just want to feel like I'm making a difference, that is my dream. Love this pattern, and love that you took the plunge for your dream, it brings so many people joy ❤
Thank you for another beautiful pattern and tutorial, Chandi! I can't keep up with making (and finishing 😂) my projects. My dream concerns a complicated matter that I pray would be resolved. Thank you for your positive approach to everything. Blessings!
Yes. That is an incredible dream you pursued, and I'm glad that you are so happy you did it. I have been contemplating a dream for years now. I am a nurse and have been for over 35 years now and have various experiences in the field but not as a Nurse Anesthesist. For me to become one, would require going back to studies (about 5 more years) and like starting all over again. I am soon to be 55 years old and not too sure if I will be hired at a senior age. Hearing your story helps me inspire my dream......😊
Wow! Once again another beautiful shawl and amazing yarn to knit with. Earning a college degree while raising three little children and working part time was a challenge, and yet I made it because I was determined and had confidence in my ability to do so.
This is my first project with your yarn and your video caused a tear or two. Today was my last day in a job I love and I am having to step away for health issues. Thank you for being here. Call it a coincidence if you like.
This colors are beautiful in this shawl! I like the arrow shape of it. I am currently leaving my comfortable job and starting a new job. My dream is that I will love my new job as much as I loved my old job.
The yarn is a lovely combination, reminds me of a garden that I’ve been wanting to get started on. I’ve dreamed of having chickens running around my garden and smelling the fresh flowers I’ve created and walking around picking tulips 😊
Lovely Chandy,, yeah, it's weekend again, another wounderfull pattern. My dream to be fulfilled next is a trip with my dog and the crochet project I am working on. It will be a relaxing week.
Hi Chandi Hope your having a great day😁 Love your videos I've been knitting for 3 years now. My grandpa taught me crochet 50 yes ago. I learned to knit so I could make garments. Sooo a cardigan is first on my list. I live in idaho so wool is my friend. 😆 Thank you Tina
Beauty all around in this video! Right now, my goals are small (spent years simplifying) to spend time with my tribe and be there for them. And knit them thing with love and thoughtfulness.
I can't wait to try this pattern it is beautiful. I particularly love the bobble stitch section love having texture to fiddle with while wearing. My dream is I make a lot of things by hand mainly knitting, sewing, and bookbinding. I would love to sell them to try and raise money for animal charities. I have a rare life limiting genetic condition, I've surpassed the avarage age of people with the same condition by more than 10years and although I am feeling well now, I nearly died last year and had to spend most of that year in hospital. By the grace of mother nature, my family and the wonderful drs I have been given more time so feel like now is THE time because I know there may less tomorrow's in the future, I just need that little push of courage. I love your positivity and always look forward to your videos and the newsletters. Thank you for being an inspiring soul! Many blessing to you
06:40 hours PDT 09/15/2023 What a lovely warm Shawl, the Cabochon! Megan has made an easy doable pattern & Chandi’s UA-cam detailed instructional video ensures our success to complete the pattern! Perfect time of year to pick up this new unique pattern to make and gift to a friend or someone in need! Love the color way choices! I look forward to my first adventure using Alpaca/silk 50/50 DK. Exactly what is needed to be successful making this pattern. Thank you, Chandi & Megan, for sharing your joy and your creativity with us all! 🤗 Sue Silliman
Beautiful colors of yarn Chandi. I'm so happy you chose to pursue your dream, for you enjoying it, and it shows and of course, for us 😊. I always wanted to learn to make jewelry and one day I will. Thank you for another beautiful pattern. Have a great, happy, filled with love weekend.
I just love a good garter shawl😊 My dream was to be able to live the full potential of my creativity, so I'm very proud that I "jumped" and started my little knit/crochet YT chanel a few weeks ago🙃
Even though I am a life long crocheter, I have a secret dream of being able to knit!! 🧶🧶🧶 I watch several knitting UA-camrs ( yourself included! 😘) I love the look of knit & love watching people make beautiful things with a ball of yarn & two simple needles! Chandi, maybe because of you, today will be that day! 💖💖💖Have a blessed day Chandi 💖
Hi Chandi. I really really feel so happy for you. You are a darling with a large and generous heart. May you grow many many times more. God bless you and all your loved ones. I download all your patterns and I am so grateful to you. ❤
I love your Alpaca silk dk yarn. And these boho colors are so beautiful! One of my tough decisions was to finish my doctorate degree even after having my kid. I am so proud of that decision and will be throughout my life.
Hi Chandi! This pattern is perfect for my next knit. It seems like it would be a great travel knit because of how easy it is to remember each row. Listening to your story is an inspiration to me. I’ve always been interested in anything art. Things like knitting, baking and drawing etc. Skills I’ve been doing since I was a kid. Funny how the profession I chose was illustration. I’m now 48 and because of Covid, I had lots of time to take stock of my life. I asked myself if this is the path I want to continue, or should I dip my foot in the pond of uncertainty🤔 I have always dreamed of having a bakery, or better yet a Wedding Salon. A place where the couple can come and test taste pastries and designer wedding cakes. Along with ideas for the style and color schemes for their special day. That, or a home based bakery business. My husband and I have been looking at houses that have an extra separate kitchen that would be designated solely for the business. It’s very scary, but now that I have a lifeline for myself along with the support of my husband, I feel a little more confident. Thank you for all your generosity and support. I don’t know if I would be brave enough to follow my heart if it wasn’t for your guidance! So again, thank you… from the bottom of my heart ❤️
How beautiful, thank you for sharing so much beauty. It’s an honor to share this amazing craft. I live in PR & I’m learning so much from your videos. I have also been enjoying your beautiful yarns, I feel like I’m painting with yarn. You give me a beautiful array of colors to play with. I’m excited to start this Cabachon with yarn I purchased recently from you. Blessings to you for all you do, I truly appreciate it🥰
Such a beautiful pattern and the yarn is gorgeous. When I was younger I wanted to move to Europe but as most of us have said life happens. At least I was able to travel quite a bit when I was younger.
I have always wanted to learn how to knit. I crochet and want to learn to knit. You make it looks so easy to do and smooth to do stitches. I am dreaming of those colors.
Love your patterns and vidoes. I joined your MKAL and has been so fun to learn mosaic knitting. I have so many dreams, but all in all I dream of day I can just enjoy life, my hobbies, and horses without needing to a full time job.
Stunning pattern! The bobbles are a beautiful touch ❤. I've always hesitated to take on projects with bobbles or cables, but you explain it so well and make it approachable. Thank you! My dreams have changed since I retired. I look forward every day to spending time with my grandchildren and in the evenings I relax and fully enjoy my new hobby of crocheting and knitting.
I adore fiber - knit/crochet/spin/weave - and dream of being a true fiber artist. I have started the process to develop a fiber arts business. You have been such an inspiration to follow that dream.
Thank you for always having a positive message! My dream is to have multiple sweaters, wraps and socks . A hand knit wardrobe… I just finished my first sweater, love my knitting community.
You make such beautiful things and I want them all! I'm just starting knitting and I purchased some of your yarn to start. I love the yarn, and I'm enjoying the process of learning, despite my many many mistakes. I also just love your personality and it helps me enjoy this new adventure all that much more. Thank you for being brave and following your dream!
Beautiful colors and seems like another meditative pattern, which I love. The little puffs in this reminded me of puff pastry, which reminded me that I would like to try to make croissants one of these days.
A dream in my heart that I wanted to try is to have my own small knit/crochet business and to also have as much yarn as I need to make the type of garments that I want to make for people.❤❤
Hi Chandi! When I first held Alpaca Silk DK in my hands, I was amazed at how soft it was. As far as dreams go - I took a couple of scary, daring, and life-changing steps in my younger years. For now, I am trying to relax more and take life one day at a time. Until the next crazy idea I get in my head... 😉
Hi Chandi, another beautiful pattern and gorgeous yarn. Earlier this year I took my freelance job and turned it into a full business. This gives me the opportunity to do what I love and the funds to buy yarn for my other passion.😊
Hi. I just started knitting after a very long break. It’s a long story but I’m not going into that. But a year and a half ago I got very sick and while I was in the hospital some how a got some nerve damage to my left hand so it’s slow going on knitting but I seen your shawl and had to knit it. Got the yarn from you and will start it this weekend. Thank you for reminding me how much I love yarn and knitting thank you God bless.
As always... many many thanks for yours and your designers generosity. I have a list of them, as long as my arm that i would like to create. I cant say ive actually got a dream now. There are things that i think, oh yes that looks great lets give it a try, but i love being a mother and care giver, so i guess im lucky to be content with my lot. Creating is my hobby for down time, and i like having a go at lots of different crafts. ❤Blessings❤ from the U.K. ❤
Love the beautiful drape of this wrap. I always wanted to be a writer, but gave up so easily. Now my goal is to get my house in shape to sell, travel , move back west where I have friends and family, and spend time travelling. Maybe now is the time to learn to blog!
Pretty yarn and shawl as always. And what I've been wanting to try is your beautiful yarn. I'm so glad you made the decision to follow your dreams, and we are lucky that you are sharing it with us. 😊
Thank you for another beautiful pattern. Your tutorials are always so easy to follow. I recently took the leap and retired. Enjoying the new quiet lifestyle.
Oh, Chandi, this is one of the most beautiful pattern of yours and the yarns are breathtaking 😊. Thank you for sharing the pattern! ❤❤❤ I recently retired from teaching foreign languages, so I have more time to crochet and knit. Knitting this shawl will be perfect to start a new era.
This is such a gorgeous pattern and the yarn is my favorite colors! I also make jewelry with seed beads and I've been wanting to branch out to working with wire, so that is one of my creative dreams/goals!
Hi Chandi! I have followed you and your impressive EFA journey very nearly since the beginning. There is much to be admired in your accomplishments!! Your words are encouraging and I may share them with others that need a nudge. As for my own "comfort zone & fears" I have stepped out of my fear zone several times in the last few years to do some things I never thought I'd accomplish on my own... alone... but I am very glad I did!! Best wishes for you & Tim as you continue to grow in your love and your business. 💞🧶
Hi Chandi, ohhh this is stunning and love the colors! Right now we’re at a crossroads right now deciding on selling our home or to wait. We have a home we have been working on the last several years to retire in but it’s so hard to think of the process of letting this beloved home go with all our memories. I’m so glad you followed your dream. Our dream is waiting so we just need to take that leap.
My newest dream is to knit the way you do. I’m a crocheter BUT learning to knit is in my dream list and if I can model your style which looks more like crochet, I’m thinking I can add knitting to my pastimes/hobbies. For years I dreamed of having my own office/private practice and working on my own terms. The dream finally unfolded in 2022 and I’ve often wondered “what was I so afraid of?” Courage is often birthed during tribulations and I’m so glad I found courage.
Beautiful pattern, thank you for sharing. I would like to declutter my home ( we’ve lived here for 43 years). Most items I pick up have memories attached. Have a great weekend
You always make knitting look so easy. Thank you for your step by step tutorials. You have taught me so much. Your spirit this morning moves me forward. I've started my first sweater and I've frogged sooo many times when beginning the yoke. I think I finally have it and I'm moving forward again. So excited to have a sweater.
I love you take the time to show how to do the stitches. I want to make a sweater and socks. Lol I alway frog the sock when I get to heal flap. You always show beautiful patterns and yarns
I was once offered the chance to buy a yarn shop in Western New York, but I had a steady teaching position and noticed what long hours and the work the owner put in to have a successful business. I declined the offer as much as I love yarn, knitting and crocheting. In a way I am glad I didn’t follow a dream of owning my own yarn shop since the person who did purchase the shop ended up not being successful and the shop went out of business. I give you and Tim a lot of credit for working so diligently and being so successful with your yarn business. Here’s to you two🥂🧶💐
Thank you for sending caring thoughts out into our universes. Recently retired, I have brought back creative forces into my life as a necessity to my life, as much as breathing. I am trying new crafts as my whims take me, knowing there is no failure except not trying. I feel like I'm being called to weave, and while I did accomplish one type, I feel the word 'weave' is more than the craft - I just haven't discovered its deeper meaning yet. I'm hoping it will be more freeing than more painful. Onward.
What a gorgeous pattern, thank you Chandi! I love to travel and while I know a few basic Spanish words but have wanted to be fluent in that language. I have so many dear friends who are bilingual and would love to converse with them in Spanish. I have bought some audio books that teach Spanish, perfect to listen to and practice while working on my crochet and knitting projects.
The colors in that kit are TDF. Gorgeous!!! The biggest decision in my life was to leave everything I knew and move to another Province and another language with my then Boyfriend.... We married 2 years later and the rest is history... Never regretted an instant, Lived our dreams in Europe for 6 years... Now we are both retired and enjoying the freedom it gives us! Thank you so much for being so inspiring with these patterns and your attitude on life! 😍🤩
This is a pattern I can do and the yarn is so pretty! I have always dreamed of having a handmade business, to sell the things I make. Crocheting and knitting, hooks and yarn are my happy place. They are where I retreat to when life seems too big. I also want to write children’s books. Someday I will do it! Thank you Chandi💕
I'm glad you like them 💞
I always wanted to do something like you’re doing, but I was a single mom of two kiddos.
You are so welcome! And yay for your first shawl! That's wonderful!
Thank you for being the guiding sunshine in everyone’s day 🌞
You're so welcome 💜
For the longest time, i didn't think i could knit. Been a crocheter for close to 50 years. Tried knitting with chop sticks during the pandemic and it clicked. Now i have a wonderful interchangeable set, loads of gadgets, more hand dyed yarn than time, and an avid sock knitter. I've thrown in a couple of sweaters and try to learn a new trchnique with each new project. Finished a pair of socks with intarsia yesterday and I'm back working on a brioche shawl. Life is pretty good.
Chandi, thanks for inspirational words to begin my Friday.
Woohoo 💜
Oh wow! 💜
Good Morning Chandi, those colors are beautiful. I retired at 52 { I'm 75 now}. I then started my Graphic Art Business, then went on to writing my first book. Now I'm an Author and do Book Covers. Living my happiest and best life.
I have struggled with bobbles for years - this makes them much clearer! exited to try them again.
It's always an inspiration to me 💝
Aww, thank you 💞
Thanks for another great pattern & thank you for taking that leap of faith into your business!
I got teary when you got emotional about the past and your joy in the changes you made 💜XXOO
Go for it 💜
I have always wanted to learn to speak Spanish. This year, at 52, I finally got the courage to start!!! I listen to Spanish classes and practice while knit. 💖💖💖
Awesome 💜
I have a lot to be thankful for
That's wonderful, yes, take some just time for yourself. That's so important for staying healthy and happy. 💕
I'm sorry to hear that but i'm glad you have knitting in your life. 💕
Hi Chandi
Hope your having a great day😁
Love your videos
I've been knitting for 3 years now. My grandpa taught me crochet 50 yes ago.
I learned to knit so I could make garments. Sooo a cardigan is first on my list.
I live in idaho so wool is my friend. 😆
Thank you
Tina
I watch several knitting UA-camrs ( yourself included! 😘) I love the look of knit & love watching people make beautiful things with a ball of yarn & two simple needles!
Chandi, maybe because of you, today will be that day! 💖💖💖Have a blessed day Chandi 💖
I'm sure you can learn it 💜
Thanks for sharing 💜
How beautiful, thank you for sharing so much beauty. It’s an honor to share this amazing craft. I live in PR & I’m learning so much from your videos. I have also been enjoying your beautiful yarns, I feel like I’m painting with yarn. You give me a beautiful array of colors to play with. I’m excited to start this Cabachon with yarn I purchased recently from you. Blessings to you for all you do, I truly appreciate it🥰
Oh, how wonderful! I'm so happy you love what we do, and that you found us! Take care!
The alpaca silk is the most beautiful and soft yarn I have come across in my life! The first project I knit with it was "the journey" shawl.
Chandi, I’m a beginner knitter and enjoy working with your beautiful yarns. Thanks for sharing your wonderful talent.
Yay, I'm glad you did it. 💜
I've always wanted to be an artist. When I was in secondary school, I used to teach my grade 11 art class when my teacher had meetings.♥️
Fabulous 💜
Onward.
Go for it 💜
What a gorgeous pattern, thank you Chandi!
This is a wonderful shawl! I have dreamed of having my own antique shop, along with coffee and knitting.
I'm endeavoring to be self sufficient after a serious illness. Every day is so difficult. But I'll do it! Thank you for your inspirational videos!
💜💜💜
The colors in that kit are TDF. Gorgeous!!! The biggest decision in my life was to leave everything I knew and move to another Province and another language with my then Boyfriend.... We married 2 years later and the rest is history... Never regretted an instant, Lived our dreams in Europe for 6 years... Now we are both retired and enjoying the freedom it gives us! Thank you so much for being so inspiring with these patterns and your attitude on life! 😍🤩
What a wonderful story! Thank you for sharing it with me, and I'm happy it worked out so well!
Yes, you will 💜
