- This Trailblaze Mission for Penacony for Honkai Star Rail 2.1 update is so rich with lore! The Devil in Velvet / Into the Yawning Chasm is honestly a fascinating mission. The conversation between Welt and Acheron was very intriguing and brought up a lot of interesting philosophical questions. Is it wrong to live in a dream if a person so desires? I don’t have the answer.
We also had a very interesting exchange between Aventurine and Sparkle. I hope Aventurine will be okay! Will we see more of Dr. Ratio? What will Sunday do from here? Is Robin alive? What does Gallagher know? I can’t wait to learn more about Misha / Mikhail as well!

As a fan of HI3rd's story, I was GRIPPED during Welt and Acheron's conversations. It helps that their VAs are both fantastic, and also the HI3rd music they played in that scene (specifically "For Kevin") hit me right in the feels.
Peakony continues to live up to the name! I can't wait for the conclusion...

Having finished 2.1, I'm now catching up. Wish I could understand why everyone went absolutely crazy with the HI3 references in the convo between Welt and Acheron. All I got is this... Acheron is not directly from HI3. The interaction between Black Swan and Constance is interesting too. Duke Inferno gave his children orders, and the order for Constance was to take down the Remembrance. Will be so interesting to see how that develops.
Sparkle has been underutilized in 2.1, I reckon. Casually carrying around a nuclear button Bet it throws up confetti whilst playing a Womp womp sound effect :D
Yeah, I didn't play HI3, so I don't understand all the references to it. Either way, conversation was still interesting.
Also yes lmao Sparkle is such a wild card, and I love her for it
