Born and raised in Texas - still live here. They're cool to watch on a screen, but in real life these storms can be utterly devastating. They leave nothing but death and destruction in their wake. During tornado season, I'm often up all night watching the weather so I can get my kids to our safe spot. I've seen it go from "this is going to be a calm rainstorm all night folks" to several hooks forming and sirens going off in a matter of minutes. Trust me - count your lucky stars you live somewhere that doesn't have them.
Good footage especially of the parent supercell and careful, professional camera work. Also very professional by not yelling obscenities while filming, which makes it easier to watch and listen.
Kaye Hartfield Thank you for the kind words, and your absolutely right! I don’t believe obscenities or euphemism such as OMG have to be used to describe something.
Incredible shot at 3:23 - the colouring, contrast and framing is just perfect! Tornadoes are quite beautiful from a distance when they’re not wrecking lives.
I barely came across this video after 7 years. Love these kinda chase videos. Full thing, multiple tornadoes, and just enough editing so it doesn't drag.
I'm amazed that you've only got 17 likes including mine. Then, there are the 2 dislikes. How? Even though I can't see the video on the account that I'm totally blind, I can hear the action, and it's pretty fierce! It's so sad that noone's even commented on this until now. Whatever you're doing, please keep doing it, because this is by far some of the best sound I've heard. It doesn't appear that you're competing with anyone else, which is admirable, because what you do is in good conscience. You, like all other concerned citizens, are just trying to bring more awareness to the public about these storms and why they shouldn't be ignored. I hope you'll chase again this year, and please know that I pray for your safety out there. I pray for everyone out there, and most of all, I hope people here in America will humble themselves and learn a thing or two about cooperation with one another reguardless of affiliation, race, creed, religion and anything else that interferes with good, old fashioned philanthropy, a word I don't think we've heard or spoken here in America in a long time. God bless you and all you storm chasers out there!
+Heather Stubbs I'm not Mr. McGee but I wanted to sincerely say thank you for your kind winds and blessings for the storm chasers and spotters out there. I've been a spotter/chaser for a few years now and I'm always happy to see people who appreciate what we do. And I'm sorry to hear about your visual disability, may God bless you.
Always wild watching tornado videos where you can see it transforming into a wedge, what a wild process that I’ll probably never understand but can recognize from seeing enough of these
@@bamabum123456789 pretty sure the pressure in the area drops enough to where the air condenses. Same concept as any tornado just a bigger area of effect
This was such a phtogenic tornado. Many spectacular videos of this and the Wynnewood twisters. Hope that family who lost their house (at the end), made it out ok. Great footage.
It sucks that here in Texas you rarely see tornadoes in daytime and in such clear weather.. you never see anyone from Dallas area post a video.. it's rare.. they always come at night..so fain wrapped .. about 60 mile radius.. we cab even see what to be afraid of ..cause they happen at night 8pm to 4am
That was an awesome video. Some of those pictures were really pretty and awe inspiring. (Of course, the destruction isn't pretty, but the pictures of the sky were at times...)
Hi Phillip! Do you ever license your footage for use? I work on a television series that is sharing some personal experiences from this tornado a few years back and it might be nice to incorporate your footage if you're open to it. If open to it, could you email me at krissymariecox@gmail.com? I'd be happy to give you more information! Thank you!

Never seen a tornado except on video. Don't see them here in UK. They really fascinate me
They’re quite amazing, like being near a jet at full power.
The best view of a tornado is the furthest one from it, like on a screen.

The zoom in up close at the funnel at 4:07 on the video is very scary and creepy. It’s like it found you playing hide and seek.

Finally a video that shows the sulphur wedge forming! Great shooting bro!
Thanks 😊

That tornado looked like the Pilger Nebraska EF4 with the violent motion of the Pampa Texas tornado from 1995
This was such a phtogenic tornado. Many spectacular videos of this and the Wynnewood twisters. Hope that family who lost their house (at the end), made it out ok. Great footage.

And they always happen at weird times of the year too. December 2015 October 2019 etc
You did a real good job, documenting this menace! Thank you...🇺🇸 👍☕
It's amazing how big debris goes up like dust in a vacuum
The dead man walking indicates one violent tornado
great video!!!!!
Thank you

Thank you so much!
Now that's a hell of a chase.
It was quite amazing, that fired off a dry line bulge and it was amazing!
That things violent
epic!
STAY SAFE❤❤

Really? That's your soundtrack? lol.
Nope, no rights to the music at all. Just had the radio playing and the video picked it up, ooops 😊
Music & tornado videos should never mix. His radio warnings were much more appropriate.
@@lilblackduc7312 Pecos Hank also used great music in his storm chasing videos
@@someaveragemaxrubyfan8716 He makes all the music for his videos.
