I do not care how many people say "Queen influenced me" Brian May is an amazing singer/songwriter. It does not matter how many people say he influenced them. he is one of the most underrated singer/songwriters of the modern age.
What a great song!!! What musicians... Brian + Cozy = explosive combination. The mix of one of the greatest guitar players in history and the best ever drummer is absolutely fabulous. That drum solo in the middle of the song.... Cozy you will be the best forever!!! We miss you!!!
Brian always writes great songs. These songs during the BRIAN MAY BAND ERA are just so Phenomenal. Wrote them with such feeling & then singing them he had so much heart & soul in them. Some you can actually see the hurt in his eyes & the look on face.😢
In the US, that answer would be homophobia and guilt by association closing minds to giving him a chance. Ask the people of that age if they know who Queen is, they will say yes, then ask them to name 2 songs not played on the radio. The albums sold but yeah, people wouldnt give them a fair listen. And he wasn't as egotistical as some of the others, he was just happy doing his job. I've thought he was better than Page since about 1976. In the 60s and 70s, most guitarists cited blues players as their main influences. May, in my opinion, was the first top notch player that was a pure ROCK guitarist, as his influences were 50s rockers, Rory, and Hendrix. Fun fact: In May's long career he has only regularly played with 2 drummers. Roger Taylor on all Queen albums, and Cozy on both solo albums. He did record one song with Bill Ward, as May is the only guitarist other than Tony to be on a Black Sabbath album. Sorry for the long answer, but I believe strongly that May doesn't need to defer to anybody.
oh my god you actually saw this live? uuuaaaaaa i jealous :) well such big names of rock almoust never come to my home land Slovenia (if i tell that total population of our whole state is about 2 mil-i think that is said enough) and i always want to go to some bigger city, like London. well been there for almoust a year but earn just enough money to get home in one piece... very said story... but still we can watch it in one way or another and thats enough for me! :)
Indeed, he deserves it. I had the pleasure of meeting Neil here in Buenos Aires when he came with Brian, and he was so nice to me. He took his time to speak to me. Great bass player and fabulous rythm combo with the one and only Cozy.
@iluvroknrol93 I am pretty sure it is based on one that Cozy Powell wrote a few years before, I dont know if he ever released it though and the version he was doing back then was not as "produced" as this one, probably the Brian May influence.
brian is a rock legend bordering on guitar diety, its like a bad drama music from the 80's.sorry if this offends some folks.again i have much respect for brian as a performer but this is a bad vehicle.
This is rocks like nobody's business. Brian + Cozy that heavy (but melodic) combo is the BEST of ALL TIME. Cozy is a monster!!
I do not care how many people say "Queen influenced me"

Ladies and gentelmen: Mr Brian May!
Dr. Brian May*
yeah. never heard him like that. but 20 years ago already :D
great vid
brian may is an awesome musician
Cozy and Brian awesome but Neil Murray also a giant on stage
Neil Murray deserves more recognition than he gets! He's played with so many great bands!
Indeed, he deserves it. I had the pleasure of meeting Neil here in Buenos Aires when he came with Brian, and he was so nice to me. He took his time to speak to me. Great bass player and fabulous rythm combo with the one and only Cozy.
Brian is struggling a bit on the vocals, but it ain't an easy song to sing. Awesome guitarwork as usual though, and the drumming is superb.
He dose pretty well here. But possibly better at the Brixton Academy 1993
Master Cozy and King Brian !
Two giants!!
Nice jacket. Girls loves that
That is one Hell of a "Rock band " in sync!!
Yes,i'm well aware of that!!
In comparison with alot of other guitarist, thia man does not get the recognition he deserves............
2021, it still super rocks !!!!
muito foda, espero que um dia a The Brian May Band volte pena que o Cozy já se foi.
No, su nombre es Mike Casswell y es un guitarrista inglese. Es un guitarrista incredible.

@greg1912 Thank you....I actually have DVD's of Mike Caswell teaching you how to play Brian's stuff. He's fantastic.

This appeared on the 3DO version of Rise of the Robots...what a horrible game that was!
im going to judge that was just a random capital t...

If god exist...here's.
Il n'y a pas eu de meilleur band que le Brian May band. Difficile de faire mieux.
