I hope the boy doesn't get depressed while playing the piano until she finds a girl that will make him fight his past traumas, but in the end the girl dies.
Its weird because they say that the Musicarts use music to battle the D2 but their main fuel is the life force of their conductors. That's why Takt faceplants at the end there, Cosette's fuel consumption is massive causing her to drain him to the point of passing out despite it being a very short battle
I think there's some analogy going on with real-life conducting + playing to the life force + fighting in-universe, where Cosette (the orchestra for Symphony No. 5) literally is the piece and Takt (the conductor) devotes his energy to leading the orchestra. So while the Musicarts use music (as they are music), they need a conductor to kind of direct the innate musicart power, which drains the conductor's energy? I also have a feeling that the energy consumption is based on the musicarts' pieces (Beethoven's Symphony No. 5 is notoriously fast to the point where people think the tempo was mismarked and Takt remarks that Cosette wastes a lot of energy), but I have no way to confirm it yet since we've only seen one.
Once I heard the booming piano play those notes. The psychological trauma of playing this song over and over again in orchestra came in again... It was traumatically nostalgic. My fingers moved to the music notes of the piece remembering the strings and notes. The tragedy is that I mistook it for bradenburg? and then bach's minuets? and now I have no IDEA WHAT THIS SONG IS LOL
Why we don't see this in class of music. I would remember a piece of Music and his compositor of the XVI a lot better with an epic animation battle with GOD desing than blowing a plastic flute
