+Karl ...i beg to differ Carl..a chill piece of classical for a chill classic bike on a really well made clip, still able to hear the rugged engine over the music to.. clever stuff advert type of clip, a joy to watch.i have fond memories of my DR400 it got pinched and sadly never got to reunite..seventeen years later i am following an 81 DR500 which if possible may purchase there are so many great bikes out there but to see an oldie still holding its own and looking every bit as fun is very tempting love the ride through a sunset to finish the fab film.. All the shots that makes up this video was set up and taken by myself. I am also the rider so you can say it is a "self portrait" video. This takes a hell of a lot of time and effort but the result is worth it. Thanks for watching.

Very Nice Vid. Reminds me of my farm riding days on my old Honda XL350. Where abouts is your farm? I am from South Africa and the terrain in your vid looks alot like the Lesotho region. Once again, well done!!

Hi, thanks for the message. Love it when someone enjoy my videos. I use Apple's Final Cut Pro X for my editing work. I'm self taught and too lazy to learn all the programme's features so I don't get all I can from it but it is a very very very user friendly program to use. Professional editors hate the X version since it moved away from traditional editing techniques but for a mere mortal like myself the user interface similar to iMovie is a dream.

i own a 2008 dr650 and somebody at a bike event on the weekend told me about the 500's and the 500's thats what brought me here.
