Our education system is focused on moving us further in life without explaining finer details, highschool to college, college to job, while Skyblock is a simulated economy, which is why I'm dropping out of highschool and IRL trading for the rest of my life

As a billionaire in skyblock myself, I can confirm much of what is in this video is really good. I will add though, make sure you know the market well. If you are starting investing/flipping start slowly and work your way to larger deals.
Very good advice. I don't know much about any of these markets, but I also don't really care about my coin because I haven't played any of these profiles in a long time

Hey Cboo, I really enjoy that you’ve found something on Skyblock you enjoy. I am literally the exact same, instead of doing all these boring tasks to gain money, I instead find ways to make money through investing. Every now and again you’ll get a big margin. 2 notable ones I’ve gotten is turning 10m into 2.6b, and 980m into 2.7b. If I could give you a tip for next time you come online, there’s this really OP slime minion farm you can make. It produces about 6-7m daily offline, and 40m daily online. It will cost quite a lot to set up, but you don’t *need* to use flycatchers as minion expanders work just fine.

@@nolancrackel I’ve got one on my island, my ign is A4_Paper. When you spawn in go up the stairs on your left and keep going straight until you see a the entrance to go right, then follow the path up to the high part in the middle, you’ll see an entrance you can go through where my snow minions used to be, just go to the end of that and you’ll see my farm. 30 minions and what not

Sad to say, skyblock has allowed me to apply more skills I've learned in school then I have applied in life! I've used my coding skills learned in school to make a bz flipping tool using the API, math skills in general, french to speak to other European players, economics, saving money so much lmao

Some stuff is similar, a lot is not. For example a great investment is buying something that is just below, or right on NPC sell price, since if the investment doesn’t work out, just sell to NPC, if it works then you can make billions. Not the same IRL.

i put 30m into gifts a few days ago, 1028 whites and 1028 reds. i'm not active on skyblock much, but whenever i do feel like coming back, i'm sure it won't hurt
I invested abt 4-5m into gifts and currently have abt 20m in snow minions (lol i love rng). Im gonna set them up and then start investing and flipping to make my first billon (hopefully)

One thing ur getting wrong is that hypixel doesn't really just delete pets / skins they find ways to rework them which again would result into the skins going up in price tho. Because of the change to the pet itself. It causes distress and hype for said item even if the changes are minimal.

I was buying eccense before drag ecc shop added.. but I spend one on shop and was not confident and didn't invest yo much or have yo muc money to so I lost out on 40x profits...

You need tutorial video for a spreadsheet?
It isn’t that hard. You just make a list of what you have invested in, the quantity you invested, and its price when you first bought. Then check the price every month, record it down and calculate how much profit you’ll make from the items in that month. Do this every month and you will get an insight or able to roughly guess the value of the item in next month.
It just like taking a note or recording a diary. You’re not stupid enough that you need somebody to teach you how to write a diary right?

the gift investment was not very good, you should have waited unitll the last day of december because you can get a thousand gifts per hour from mining in the glacite caves.
I agree, gifts went up in price because of the north stars and stuff. I don’t see them regaining much value afterwards because of them stabilising price, because the glacial mines crashed it as is.

These ones have been left for somewhere around 6-8 weeks (don't quote that)
if you waited about a week or so later, you could’ve earned an ROI of 800% for stocks, unfortunate timing tho

If I spent 30 minutes selling the snow to the npc, I would have made an extra 1.7% (600k coins)
