Never seen footage of these lot playing live before, I never would've guessed that the singer is also the main guitarist. Not anymore. Officially stated by him as the reason why he can't be in the band anymore. His mental health issues and the difficulty of doing *THIS* constantly, was too much. He left such a massive crater of godly talent in his footprint, that's all we needed anyway. New BCNR is going a whole new route, and I think it's good, I probably would've been trapped in a miserable melancholic trance forever if Isaac kept making sadder and sadder albums with them. It's so unhinged, especially with Isaac's completely raw and unsettling vocal performance. Even if it's part of the act, there's just something that feels so real here that forces you to confront something dark, sinister, and personal. I never thought a man simply recounting the experience of mindless entertainment loops perscribed by the suggestion bar or instagram's "people you'd most like to fuck" algorithm would affect me so deeply, but that monologue was a brilliant description of the bleakness of the social media experience

No wonder why Isaac's mental health is deteriorated. This is such an intense show that includes honest confessions made in public by a young man, who is trying to find his identity at the same time. Playing such shows frequently would definitely harm a young man's psychology... So is music to blame for Isaac's deteriorated health? It should have been healing though... Everyone’s different in the way they respond to suddenly being in the limelight with all the extra pressures that brings.
