with AM alex started putting on this different accent, he started singing more nasaley and changing the vowels a bit. this vid really made me realize that when he sings old songs he goes back to a way of singing closer than the one he used when the song was written. if what I'm saying makes any sense lol. pretty fucking dope tbh. it's easy to notice the evolution of the vocals over the rest because damn alex's vocal progress is SOMETHING, and besides as someone already pointed it out I feel like compared to other songs the way they perform it hasn't changed that much. BUT I do feel like the drums have changed a bit. they're like... cleaner, idk. my point is, matt, we hear you, keep up the good work.
I miss their shaggier early era, where they looked like what they were: young dudes who taught themselves in their bedrooms how to write songs and be rockstars like their idols. Also the post-punk on Ritalin vibe, fast tempo and sharp guitars. I’m just not really a fan of the pompadoured, manicured, crooning in an expensive suit vibe. But every band evolves, they couldn’t just play the part of the young scrappy up-and-comers forever.

@@Apopolopis Underrated? Hell no. This and Fluorescent Adolescent are the most popular songs on the album. They're good songs but not as good as more underrated ones like Balaclava and Old Yellow Bricks in my opinion.
