@@TooManyMonsters Seriously? What version of it do you need? I had both the original and directors cut and never unlocked a battle game, is it the Japanese version you need?

@Chris Pappas Hahaha!!! 🤣 There is also an infamous typo in the American release of Resident Evil 2, where the Magnum parts are actually called "Mugnum Parts". This typo is consistent with re-releases of Resident Evil 2, even on the Nintendo Gamecube. But it was fixed in the DualShock version of Resident Evil 2.
@BikerBenny The Sega Saturn version of Resident Evil had several extras included to make up for it. The most memorable extra was Battle Mode, where players must fight several enemies in areas taken from the main game. New enemies were also used, such as a new Hunter species (called Ticks) and another Tyrant inside the lab; the Battle Mode also featured a golden Tyrant and a Albert Wesker zombie. New costumes for Jill Valentine and Chris Redfield were added as well as several uncut scenes in some versions that were not supposed to be displayed.
@mirraculous_ Thank you so much! 😊🙏 I have played Resident Evil (Sega Saturn) on my Personal Desktop Computer through an Multi-System Emulator called "Mednafen" while recording my Longplay with a screen recording utility called "Fraps." Afterwards, I used the video editing software called "Sony Vegas Movie Studio 12: Platinum Edition" to edit/convert my recorded gameplay video file into "wmv" 720p High Definition quality format, back in 2018. This is a noncanon exclusive bonus mode to the Sega Saturn (which is ridiculous...it should have been on every version). The Saturn version also features enemies called "Ticks" basically Hunters that look a bit more grotesque like the Chimeras, but I hear they are slightly easier despite appearing later Underground. None of the bonus modes in the Resident Evil Franchise are canon (except 4th Survivor I think), which is why you can play as Wesker in Revelations 2 Raid Mode (2011) despite him dying in 2009 (RE5). Sadly, this rare mode is never seen again (Not in Director's Cut, which features Arrange Mode, with arranged item placement, stronger enemies, and much more enemies in general, and different costumes; Not in Deadly Silence's Rebirth Mode, which has a bunch of interactive puzzles/knife fights, etc; And not even in the Remake, which features Real Survivor where item chests aren't linked, and Invisible Mode where all enemies are turned invisible...basically for those that played the game so much that they memorized every enemy in the game lol. I definitely prefer Arrange Mode and ReBirth of these modes.) Similarly, Dualshock and later versions of RE2 features Extreme Battle, a mode at least 4x longer than this Battle Mode, but allows you to play as Leon, Claire, Ada, and even Chris Redfield! This mode is not in the Remake either...yet. PLEASE CAPCOM...DO IT! I need to try at least 1 "Battle Mode"..

Basically the prototype for the future Mercenaries mode
I played this back in 1997. This port is what got me into the series in the first place. Great memories.
9:57 best voice actor for Wesker ever.
That old capcom logo intro is instant dopamine
The Sega's logo and sounds, and the black controller are EXTREMELY NOSTALGIC!!! Good times!!!
2:31-2:33... So rare that the zombie goes down in just 2 handgun bullets, let alone a knife.
Maybe it was a random critic?
Loved the Saturn, this was my first introduction to RE back in the day. Had no idea about battle mode or Golden Tyrant though. Awesome video 👏
The ultimate killing machine: the Golden Tyrant
I want to play this mode so badly.
There is a resident evil 1 psx mode were you can play it.
Resident evil DS has a battle mode with both stars and bravo team you can choose from. And has bosses

@@OdinSmilesRavensLaugh72051 I don't think that's true. Maybe some kind of mod? The only battle mode I can think of for PS1 is the minigame in RE2.
