I walked away from a long term marriage in 2011. I endured a lot of emotional abuse. Fast forward to now.... I’ve been single, celibate n happy. It took a few years n a lot of tears to heal. I was not interested in having another relationship. I knew only God could heal my wounds. If you are constantly having sex after a breakup you will never truly heal. Sex is a distraction, like a drug it only satisfies for the moment. You have to keep doing it to get that feeling. When you are celibate God fills all the empty places. You become strong in your weakest areas. I honestly feel like I have a great advantage over most people. I am not easily tempted n I am very content in any situation. The absence of sex ( n the overall duties, drama n dynamics) that come with relationships has created a great peace in my life. Maybe one day I will marry again, who knows. However at this point I’m not willing to trade the peace I have for sex. There is no comparison. To God be all the glory 🙏🏾

I think there’s a good reason why traditional religious paths suggest a type of sexual purity. Divine sexual energy transfer (tantra) is a valid thing, but it still requires purity, ie, keeping the focus on God. Hard for many. For me personally I find that I am happiest during my celibate times. I would appreciate that divine sexual energy transfer, but Im done settling for less than that. If that means I never have sex again so be it. I have a direct connection to that GodLightLove, so I’m whole, not hungry. I think a lot of people are seeking hedonistic things because they forget that what they truly desire is Gods Love. And Gods Love is free, infinite, and accessible any time. We forget. Since no one is perfect, we can only really experience unconditional love from our primary relationship (GOD/SOURCE) Maybe we need to get with Source before we can have that one great relationship where we can really have great tantric/next level sex?

Why do so many fall for the idea that purity in Holy Matrimony, single gentleman, single lady, or marriage between one man and one woman causes any of these detrimental effect?
