Great walkthrough as always, Ramone. Regarding your trunk space, you opted for performance non run flat tires and when you do that, BMW throws in a spare tire. That spare tire doesn’t sit flush with the trunk floor. Which is why you have a raised floor and reduced space. Run flats do not have that raised floor. Which is a shame because I’d prefer non run flats but without having to compromise on trunk volume. In fact the X3 is class leading in trunk space among its peers.
fun fact I actually do have Michelin performance run flats! I was going back and forth with optioning the spare tire then couldn’t remove the option as the car entered production already
@@RAMONEAuto Ah! Sorry to hear that mate. I combed through all the owner threads and decided not to option the spare when I ordered mine. Weirdly, the X4 trunk floor sits flush with the spare tire but not the X3. Do continue to make your videos. They’re very informative. Would like for you to maybe do a real world mpg test, driver assist features etc maybe?
You’ve got some very informative videos, you’ve earned another subscriber from a soon to be X3M Competitive owner. I am coming from a 2015 650i xDrive Gran Coupe m-performance into the X3M comp
Congrats I’m excited for you because it was the same way for me lol and are you doing the performance delivery? Maybe something to look into at BMW USA performance delivery
Hi Ramone! Great reviews over the BMW X3. Could you maybe provide the link to the black kidney grills? I am thinking of purchasing since I am also thinking of switching the silver grills to black M sport grills. I would appreciate it!
really helpful video. Ive ordered one, might put the m40i kidney grill (and mirror caps on) to so will be curious to see how yours turns out. will look out for the video.
So I changed my grill to black . Looks much better . Did you order the one that says M on the front ? I didn't I just got the high gloss black kidney grill but I want it to look more mean . Is the only difference the m on it or are the spokes different ?
Yes I did order the double ribbed M grill from the M40i with the M logo but I’m a bit skeptical it might be odd since mine has the active kidney grills it should be here within a week or two and where did you order yours?
@@RAMONEAuto I ordered mine from BMW. But then I saw a video on here and guy got his from Bmwpartspro for so much cheaper. I should have waited but I hated that chrome color grill . I have 21inch wheels with Dynamic Handling package .
Oh n I didn't even know that I didn't have the pro +900 package so my dash doesn't look like that but I'm over it . The dealership built my truck so I was able to change color of seats and add stuff but I didn't even know that was a option to change thought it was all the same . The only thing I wish I really got was the front camera but wasn't an option I wish it could be retro fitted
Hi very interesting video. thanks for this. I'm buying the x3 as a family car but with xline package cos I heard the ride is much softer than msport. Would this be true?
The M sport will have a bit harder and sporty ride. I would highly suggest getting the optional adaptive dampers which will soften the ride. Also keep in mind the tires are run flat and Rim size will play a factor as well
Depends what you’re looking for! Sporty suv! $50k which is average! Practicality of a child or toddler. These are my reasons for buying it and I would recommend it to anyone bevause it’s a fantastic suv
if you buy it with m package you gotta select standard suspension or the optional adaptive suspension. having m sport suspension was a big mistake on my previous car, its too harsh
Harsh ride? "MSS" springs will save the day Best tires will be "Michelin Pilot All Season ZP" or their less sporty touring tires the "Michelin Primacy." Continental Extreme Contact Run Flats offers a supple ride, too!. All above, will dramatically alleviate the harsh ride.

How’s the X3 any issue with the engine oil leak or something? Thx!
nope! never had any mechanical issues I've only changed tires and regular maintenance so far
