I really struggled with the down pipe on my 2000 F350. That is until I watched this video. Then it took less than 5 minutes. Mine has fiberglass wrap and I thought that might be my doom but it went right in doing it this way Thank you very much
Hey brother, so, from everything I can see when I was looking at turbo back systems, they mostly have a 3” downpipe the. Switch to a 4” exhaust. I believe there are 4” downpipes out there, but require cutting the floor, or if you have the engine out a huge sledge can help accommodate. lol So, to answer your question, yes, 3 down, 4 the rest of the way. Hope this helps!
@@ParkerEdwards-q3y shoot dude, I wasn’t paying attention and I messed up. I just released a newer video a week ago on an OBS Ford and what I said was true about the older trucks. I’m gonna delete that last comment to you, you totally can find a 4 inch downpipe for a super duty no problem. The OBS are 3 to 4 inch
@@scottmitchell3385 thank you, really glad it worked out for you. Took me awhile of searching the internet and figuring it out before posting this video. Happy that it helped!
It took me 30 minutes of fighting and swearing before finding this. After watching I got the down pipe in immediately. You are the best!

that downpipe is going to cook the starter brian,,no room for exhaust wrap,, but maybe the silver reflective roll for the starter may help

So is the down pipe 3 inch to go onto the turbo and 4 inch the rest of the way? Thinking of getting turbo back and wanted to know thank!

Guess you have to have a lift to do it with this method.
Haha was fortunate this time for sure! But I’ve done the same kit on a 2wd with a hydraulic jack from Autozone. It’s doable on the ground too
I just followed his advice on a 2000 F350 manual trans 4 wheel drive sitting on the ground and it worked great. Thanks buddy for posting this.
