My question is why post a tutorial if you are not going to answer any of the questions from your subscribers? You have not answered any of the questions that were posted SMH They were good questions too
As usual the NVR looks nothing like the NVR on the screen. None of the messages I'm getting correspond to what's on screen here. As the Dahua question never got an answer from you, I bought a Honeywell HBW4GR1 and that won't configure either. What is the point of putting up a video if you don't reply to questions? As they say in my country"Effing useless." It's all catch 22, the NVR won't find the camera, the edit screen doesn't fully edit, the message says NO IP camera for deletion. The camera won't show up on the laptop, the software doesn't do what it's supposed to do and multiple factory re-sets don't actually reset the NVR to zero. Between Hikvision and Dahua NVR's I've spent hours trying to add cameras for no result except going round in circles getting nowhere. Why aren't they just plug and play without all the effing around? Not all of us have degrees in computer science either.
I want to add Dahua HFW4431R-Z to a HIKvision NVR DS-7608NI-K2/8P. Is it compatible as a lot of people seem to be having trouble with the 2? What about doing a video showing how to do that using both the aforementioned?
Eventually got there by having to take the camera down and reset it with a software I got from somewhere. Even the software is a load of crap as it wouldn't show camera picture. Surely someone can fix the crap software running POE's and NVR's.
@@flashflashbang2102 For sure Dahua camera can be added to Hikvision NVR. All you have to do is get into Dahua camera by web browser with the default ip, 192.168.1.108 with user name and password as admin, admin. Then go to network and change the ip of Dahua camera to 192.168.254.100.... ( this 254 range is the default range of Hikvision NVR for accepting camera's automatically) you put any digit after .254 i said 100 as an example. Then subnet 255.255.255.0, default gateway 192.168.254.1. then click save and plug this camera to Hikvision NVR. Go to manue and camera. There will see in the list where it says connecting. Double click it and select protocol ONVIF, then type in the user name and password of Dahua camera admin, admin and save. Then it will show on Live view of Hikvision NVR.
@@ahmdnaube3745 We shouldn't have to jump through these hoops, they should fix the software so if you have to take a camera out the software will intuitively add the new one. What if your camera is 30m up a building, Not easy to take down and plug into laptop or get up there with a laptop.
Had to speed it up x1.5 as I was falling asleep.
Thank you
So, making a video without actually using 3rd party cameras?...lol
Found 1000 videos that show how to add 3rd party camera to hikvision NVR but not one says Ya or Nay on how to configure Alerts.
I have a third party Ampviz camera that populates under camera management with an IP address but doesn't display it shows risk password ...

Weak tutorial. What are Custom 1,2,3 etc. What happens if I choose Onvif instead of a manuafacturer.
Video too blurry to see anything
How do you get through a day talking that slow jesus
