I was diagnosed Stage 4 last month at age 63 and started ABVD regime 5 days ago. Initially scheduled for 2 cycles (4 infusions). Mine was discovered in a scan that diagnosed an enlarged lymph node. Also discovered elsewhere after a PET scan. Only getting chemo, no radiation.
I hope you get well soon. My younger brother who's only 31 years old got diagnosed with hodgkins lymphoma. We don't know what stage it's at yet but his had a lump on his left side of the neck for around 5 months but only got it diagnosed recently. Next week they will check him again to see how far the cancer has spread and what stage it's at. I just really hope it's early stages and he gets well soon. It's really tough for all of us upon hearing this.
I am so sorry to hear this. My son was sick for a year, then got covid and never healed from it. He was diagnosed with Long Haul Covid. His covid was a year ago. Now he has been diagnosed with Hodgkin's Lymphoma. I'm so scared. I do not want to lose my son! My heart goes out to you! No mother should have to bury her son!
@@monicadeana4586 NO. He doesn't believe in the vaccine. But, he also didn't get treated when he had Covid Pnuemonia. He was afraid they would force the vaccine on him at the hospital. I also had covid pneumonia, but, I went to the hospital for 7 days. They didn't force it on me here in Kansas. The Lumphoma is in his lung area. His chest is riddled with inflamed Lumph nodes. Before he got covid he got scratched by his brother's dog. Come to find out the dog had a fungal infection in her claws. It spread throughout Eric's system. Then he got covid pnuemonia and I think all of that just over taxed his lymphatic system. The doctor said that is not the case. He said he was just unlucky. I don't believe that. I seriously think if he had gone to the hospital to treat the covid pnuemonia he would not have cancer today. It doesn't really matter, I guess, how he got here. I am just praying he can be healed and lead a normal life. I don't have much family. He is pretty much all I've got. I have two other son's but we are not close. Eric and I are very close. I don't know what I would do if I lost him.
@@J_Chap I really hope he will get better soon. Its really not easy to go through something like this. My younger brother got diagnosed with hodgkins lymphoma around 10 days ago and we haven't told our parents yet. My mum will not he able to handle the sad news well. She already has alot of health conditions so don't want to stress her more
Unfortunately its like her cancer had advanced and had other conditions such as pulmonary hypertension.....she lost her life as they tried to do her laparascopy....may her soul rest in peace
