Filipinos truly are the Mexicans of Japan lol

Really? I don't know any Mexicans. So, this comparison eludes me. Very interesting line of thought, though. 😊

Hello Nikko. I am a Brazilian aiming to become a caregiver in Japan. I will move in 2026 to study in a medical school in Japan.
I heard that after 2026 those who graduated from a medical school in japan will need to take the test too...
So if i fail in the test i will have to back to my home country? even though i will be a graduated from a japanese medical school???
What will happen with those who studied care giving in Japan?
    I am really worried...

Hi! Though it's true that on 2026 onwards ALL graduates of caregiving colleges here in Japan will be required to pass the 介護福祉士国家試験 to become a 介護福祉士, there are no limits on how many times you take the exam.
Even if you failed on your first try, as long as you still have a valid visa to legally stay here in Japan for another year, you are not required to go back home.
As long as you have a valid visa, you can retake the exam as many times as you want until you pass it.
Now, if you don't have a valid visa and you failed the exam, that's the time you should go back home. Continue to study there and once you're confident enough, re-apply for the exam online and apply for a 短期Visa - a type of visa that will allow you to stay in Japan for around a month, I think.
With a 短期 Visa, you can come here to Japan for the sole purpose of retaking the exam. You can do this indefinitely, I believe, as long as you graduated from a caregiving college here in Japan. 頑張ってください。😁👍

      @@NikkoVenture Thank You.
But after i finish my medical school i will be allow to work only if i pass the Kaigo Exam, right??
I cant exercise the kaigo profession without pass the test even though i studied in a Japanese medical school, correct?
I am asking this because i will go with a student visa. So, if after the medical school i dont pass the exam, idk if i will be able to get another kind of visa to stay in japan and try it again. I am afraid of have to back to my home country.

      @@NikkoVenture@@NikkoVenture Thank very much Nikko
So, after graduating i will receive a visa to work in Japan, but my salary will be lower because i have no certification right?
I read something about kaigo visa. I will receive this visa independent if i pass the exam or not?
What kind of visa someone that doesnt have a certification can get to keep working as a caregiver after finish the medical college in Japan?

I plan to go back in JPN and looking for a Rihabiri facility na lang, kasi 4-5 years ako sa tokuyou. Baka po may ma-refer kayo. Ex JPEPA po and I passed the kaigo exam, but needed to go back in Phil asap kaya di ko na na-register.. yoroshiku po. 🙇🏻‍♀️

Thank you for the insight. 😁 Though, my channel literally revolves around Japan and I live in Japan. If we include other countries, this would be a very long video. 😅
