Several notes 1. Needs more fog/mist to make it more claustrophobic and forces players to make slow and steady paces. 2. Have the character make noises, like hearing the breathing through the gas mask and makes grunts when being hit or running low on ammo, even make different breathing noises like near death or faster breathing to indicate fearfulness of player. 3. Have background noises like soldiers screaming and yelling, with the occasional distant gunfire being heard I know this is a demo, still in the early stages, just providing feedback
+1 on the sounds. For WW1, I would generally associate it with the constant barrage on your senses which led to shell shock. Artillery was being pumped by both sides 24/7 which would make it impossible to hear opponents on foot. Being unable to hear or see (due to fog or smoke) would make it seem more realistic to WW1 and add to the survival/horror aspect of the game. Great looking game so far.
Finally as a German! It would be cool if there were many characters featuring all countries that participated in ww1 (Italy included 😅) Kinda sad that they didn’t use actual ww1 guns
