Gameciel, the Sea Turtle Kaiju. Most people know it as the go-to Kaiju for boss monster removal, but if you can summon it on your own field with the Kaiju field spell active it becomes a non-once per turn omni-negate and banish.
No mentions of Zombie World? Or did it not count, because it's not "generically broken"? If you face it using a deck that needs its types, you get reminded how awful it can be (even counters Tears to some degree). Not to forget the king Ball Dork himself, who comes back every turn with a negate and a banish as two separate interactions. But still, always loved zombie cards since the OG series. I can't get mad at them inviting others to a cup of tea in their funny smelling land.
I like how depending on the hand tear either folds to zombie world or it helps them tremendously and you just never know. I'll face it randomly in master duel with a hand thats like "oh based I can make garura with anything"
I play Archlord in my Branded Darklord deck, having Branded Fusion to set up The First Darklord to summon Kristya. But having the micro Branded engine in addition to the Despia cards makes my bricks hurt. I can only activate Mirrorjade once (make with Albion and only have Titankland for sending) but it can help to set up plays and Mirrojade is never a bad monster to have on field
I love my Nouvelles boss monster that negates the enemy's whole field, then tributes them! Then he can still quick effect tribute one more monster if you're able to push through that
My favorite "Insane in a vacuum" card is my go to Ace, *Stellarknight Delteros* , he requires 3 level 4 to make, but you can kinda cheat that by "rank down" him on top of Cobstellar Ptolemy M6. His pop effect is okay at best, but you should only need to pay attention to his last effect. *"If this card is sent from the field to the GY: You can special summon 1 'Tellarknight' monster from your deck."* Yep, that effect is indeed not once per turn. That single effect is what the entire core for the "Tellarknight" strategy is built upon. Using cards like Altair, Gagagaga Magican summoning it back and Armored Xyz equipping Delteros to a monster on your field, you can float into 4 to 5 unique Tellarknight monsters over the course of one turn, all with their own effects. With just that effect alone, you could make a board consist of a 4 mats Apollousa, an equip removal from Full Armored Dark Knight Lancer, a bounce from Constellar Pleiades or a walking floodgate of Constellar Diamond, and a pop from Tellarknight Altea. So basically 7 interruptions or 6 interruptions and a floodgate, all thanks to that single effect.
Grinder Golem may be one of those cards that makes absurd amounts of link material, but jank players cried at its banning since it’s the easiest way to trigger Inferno Tempest
My favorite is probably Domain of the True Monarchs (and most of the monarch cards in general) cause like, its such a gimmicky outable board but if you manage to string together the spells & traps and your opponent has no good removal then you just sit and win
@@penguinoverlord9994 I honestly don't know what kind of war crime can be assigned to fortune lady... Maybe its honorary field spell that banishes on summon, and extending from there a new card would be continuous spell/trap that banishes on special summon?

If Junk Speeder resolves, a Synchron player is almost certainly able to win, and between Crimson Dragon to cheat out Trishula and Dis Pater looping Framelord Omega they can comfortably handrip the opponent for 3 cards and end their turn with Majestic Star Dragon waiting in the wings to nuke any board their opponent makes TWICE (thanks to Assault Synchron and no hard once--per-turn). But for fuck's sake people, there are so many ways the opener dies that we need this to even stand a chance.
Surprised nobody mentioned zealantis! In snake eyes it was the asshole who helped to OTK or protect appo from battle, in marincess he’s their cute ocean pet :)
Zealantis is a card that I'm surprised never gets the "YOU" treatment. It always comes down to do something stupid like turning the guys you summon off Rescue Ferret on or looping your soft onces a million times
To add to the cosmic horror, Ogdoadic/ Reptile decks also (somewhat famously) have Snake Rain (foolish 5), Water Lily (foolish, then monster reborn), the field spell retaliates to your opponent outing your snakes with a opt banish and mills them for each reptile name in your GY if removed, about half the spells the deck has are genuinely cracked if not for the fact they're hamstrung by being exclusive Reptile support.
I actually think the best answer for this is the diabelle+origin or bonfire+poplar package in any shitty deck like TG or Volcanics. you see them in snake-eye and hate how the deck hasn't died yet, but you see them in TG and you go "aww you have 6 copies of a one card combo, you deserve it"
The thing with Zombie Vampire is that it mills from BOTH decks, which can sometimes benefit your opponent more than you. I've had a game where my opponent made it in MD, milled absolutely dogsh*t and I've milled Sulliek (I think), Shaddoll Beast, Scheiren or Havnis and Snow. Dude scooped like it was his misplay and regretted his life decisions. And it's not just Tear, a lot of decks benefits from having stuff in GY.
- Yata Garasu and Amono-Iwato in a dedicated Spirit deck. - The Ghost Meets Girl - A Masterful Myakashi Shiranui Saga (specifically in Shiranui). - The Monarch Field Spell and Erupt. - Mist Valley Apex Avian and Mega Raiza in anything other than Flu and Wheeze. - Numeron Network in a deck trying to summon and use the effect of iC1000. - PSY Framelord Omega. 1:10 - That's because it can't add a card to hand... or revive itself... or be summoned as easily... or fit with things like Red Dragon Archfiend... or, you know, *NOT* mill your opponent's cards and potentially trigger things like Tearlament Fusions turn Zero!
Sera is a WAR CRIMINAL but I’ll be damned if a day comes that I can’t link for sera, pitch for holeutea, and special myrmeleo from deck to set a trap off of sera. (Also the deck does nothing without her so who cares at this point, it’s hardly a one card combo.)
Nothing feels better than the look on my opponent's face when I link into Aromaseraphy Jasmine, tribute, and summon Orphys Scorpio from deck. You thought I was gonna spend 20 minutes making a plant board but I'm gonna spend 20 minutes making a plant board with MOUTHS.
I fully acknowledge that the combo is toxic... but from my experiences, people have been ok with Zeatlantis in Marincess decks even though Marincess breaks Zeatlantis' ability.
I've always wanted a chance to combo Zealantis and Darkfall for some reason. Even better if it's my opponent's Zealantis. The issue being that this requires running Darkfall into a lot of decks where it doesn't doooo anything. (Though it does trigger off of Flamberge's graveyard effect...)
One thing about Enterblathnir is that it's not just used in Generaiders, it's also used in Infernity. More specifically the handloop version of the deck. By overlaying 2 Trishulas, which also ends up giving you acess to a full handloop since you can then use Daigusto Emeral to put 1 of your Trish back in the extra before finishing the handloop by summoning said Trish and the last one in your ed. The deck also sets up 2 omnis, a pop, and more stuff with it's leftover combo pieces. But it's also Infernity and dies to 1 handtrap.
The moment he said Agents in 2024 I IMMEDIATELY FELT REPRESENTED. Sorry to say, Master Hyperion and Krystia are like my 2 favorite cards of all time. Period.
Nice to see Guard Dog on the thumbnail. I keep it in my Prediction Princesa deck as a reminder to myself of the power I wield to turn off the combos only to special out Pot of the Forbidden instead.

Didn't get to thread in time, but Magical Musketeer Max is the epitome this. Sure, just search 5 or summon every name from your deck with no summon lock after, why not? The next Zoodiac needs no less
Agents player here in 2024. Still very fun Can confirm barely anyone at locals cares about me running Kristya. They just say "aight fair enough", scoop and it's off to the next duel lol
Adding to the pile, Dinomorphia Rexterm. It's Not Quite Skilldrain (Prevents activation, not negates abilities), attack modulation, and has in-archetype ways to summon it for basically free *properly*. The downside? Half of your life points to summon, half your lifepoints to activate, Hard once-per-turn, ~~the deck folds to Ash.~~ (Edit: okay, maybe not folds to it, but the fusions can be Ash'd and that has clutched me games.)
Dinomorphia is constantly riding such a fine line between life and death AND have such a cool aesthetic that they could have a card that says "Pay Half Your Life Points; Shoot Your Opponent" and I'd think that's okay.
Chaos Ruler is banned but not Zombie Vampire because every relevant tuner in the game special summons itself and a non-tuner to make an 8, then you get to do the Chaos Ruler stuff, then Chaos Ruler revives itself and is an 8 on board that can make... Zombie Vampire RIP bozo, Chaos Ruler needs to never come back
5:08 The difference is, this Azathot doesn't trigger on the _opponent's_ turn.... But Kali Yuga does the same thing. But that card feels more bannable cause "why are you still in Raidraptors"
Zeal Weapon - Pegasus Twin Saber It's a monster negate AT RESOLUTION that you can decide to use WHENEVER you want and there is NOTHING the opponent can do about it... _(Unless they have any form of advanced monster removal... Or Cosmic Cyclone...)_
"why my card no negate????" I've had multiple games where I thought MD was bugging out and scooped because I didn't know Peg Twin Saber wasn't interactable
Anti-Spell Fragrance + Dark Simorgh will always be my baby. Stayed with me from Tag Force 5 to Spellbook/Dragon Rulers til now. Idc if they're not searchable in most decks I play, I'll try to cram em in
The raidraptor one was so accurate. I’d never seen raidraptor before and then they told me “now you can’t do anything on this turn” and I just like internally got so pissed. But after the like 3rd time I’m like “oh this guy. He’s cool”
My favorite part about Enterblathnir is that it was the mechanism by which 2017’s Dinosaur Ftk won the game. They would deck their opponent out by summoning it 40 times to banish their opponents whole hand and deck. The even funnier part is they opted to do this instead of looping Cowboy 10 times to play around exactly Hanewata
I would quibble on the Toy Vender classification. Fluffal can combo into the fucking sun, but their endboard is so fucking bad; their best boss monster is bahamut shark lol.
Hello Theatre Man! As a fellow theatre boy, I must say that every Abyss Actor scripts effect are busted. Here's the cinema lists: a. Rise of Abyss King: Targeted pop, conditional spell speed 4 that is consistent b. Dramatic Story: Non-target 2 compulse c. Opening Ceremony: Draw 5 cards on maximum d. Abyss Prop - Wild Wagon: Literal allboard compulse all of that with a consistent, guaranteed, non-negatable Field spell Theatre to pop them, because 99% of time you activated it *inside* of Producer's chain link! However, the xenolock, non-searchable wild wagon, and pretty much people ewh-ing pendulum makes me always go under the Billboard, hehe.
Gladiator Beast Heraklinos. Not once per turn backrow negates for both my Gladiator Beasts and Brotherhood of the fire fist Tri-brigades. It feels a bit cheesy to use in generif endboard piece apocalypse, but i take what i get.
Rainbow is typically only 3 omnis. It can become 4 if: your opponent controls a monster, you have rainbowed canvas active in a zone that touches one outside the zone rainbow points to, you have a monster in that zone, and you have already used at least one omni to free up a zone. It can only become 5 if your opponent is stupid enough to activate cards in the standby phase, but at that point it can be more than 5, as it's only limited by the number of weather monsters you activated last turn, which could be a lot.
Watching raidraptors get 2 towers with no downside while Cyber Dark End Dragon is only unaffected by ACTIVATED EFFECTS and is hindered by a ONCE PER DUEL EFFECT is crazy. I AM THE ARTHUR MEME RIGHT NOW.
If anything, I think that Beatrice's mill should ONLY be able to be done the turn it's summoned if on top of a Dante. It doesn't even have the BA name or treated as a BA card, so it is anti-synergistic to its own deck.
Deskbot 004, it foolish burials in damage step to gain attack so it can run over anything, if it destroys something by battle it summons two guys from hand or GY, not negated. So its basically summon one from GY and summon one from Deck that can’t be Ash’d. Imagine Tenpai had this? Also Deskbot Base, imagine if Hero had a searchable card that said ‘Banish 9 Heroes from GY to shuffle your opponents hand/field/GY’ or any deck for that matter
This one was rough folks, so many pet deckers think their decks should have cards that let them stab the opponent, steal their car and sacrifice their unborn child. No your deck doesn't ''deserve'' VFD just because you lose to ash, like goddamn bro. And that's ignoring the fact that VFD is generic, so it wouldn't even be just their deck playing it.
Always happy to see Magistus cards get referenced. Special shout out to Aiwass too. Not only can it negate and steal and a monster, but it's also spell speed 2.
I think the Yubel Archetype is the most unfair archetype in the Game. I mean I couldn't even counter-attack or defend against the Yubel archetype considering that my rescue ace cards ended up being completely useless😂
5:53 I will like to point out that card is 3 omnis in 1/2 turns depending on how you do it. Forecast has been around since 2022 and like early 2024/mid 2023 in MD you get 1 material off the bat which you use to banish your normal summon, If normal summoned snow that is another material if not any weather spell will work, hopefully you have a second/third weather spell but your special summoned monster works two. Is it specific yes, is it something I like yep.
someone mentioned neko mane king for darkworld. NOBODY plays it in dark world. tearlament however. if you made you opponant mill neko mane king and end your own turn. you have youself to blame.
King Ojama comes to mind. Limiting monster zones is absolutely miserable...but it's an Ojama card lol Also, back when madolche was released, Tiaramisu was CRAZY. Removal that doesn't target and doesn't destroy AND recycles your resources AND removes 2 cards was so effecient back then. Hell, it's still pretty good now.
If Horus LV8 had a more relaxed summoning condition, blud would probably be banworthy. It's Dragon Naturia Beast, there's no way someone would not find a way to break that type of card. But alas, the spell racist chicken is very held back by the hoops you need to jump through in order to summon it, which is probably for the best.
Elemental HERO Cosmo Neos says "your opponent cannot activate cards, also cards your opponent controls cannot activate their effects. Your opponent cannot activate cards or effects in response to this effect's activation." You just completely turn off their ability to play anything, but everyone is fine with it because it means playing Neos.
This is probably my favorite video from MBT. I've had this exact same conversation with my friends for more than half this list and they're like "naaaah Heros are cool though". Lmao
Rainbow Bridge of Salvation not making the list is wild. Get it in grave and it searches any field spell in the game and foolish burial goods is at 3 in the tcg. If the crystal beast my opponent adds to hand off it is anything except carbuncle or pegasus it makes me sad.
Bonfire Colossus when you control at least 1 fencing fire ferret. 1 monster(min) destroyed, 500 burn damage and a level 8 body to replace the two smaller monsters that were on your field. In the right moment Bonfire Collosus is just a slower True king Agnimazud, the vanisher. Both can be special summoned from the hand but Agnimazud destroys cards to summon itself and Bonfire Collosus does it after being special summoned by controlling 2 fire monsters. Each one is good depending on what fire attribute monsters you destroy. Though if you have Agnimazud destroy a Fencing Fire Ferret, it's banish effect may be a little awkward to pull off.
Back in the day this was karakuri synchros for me. They are such amazing combo pieces, but watching them turn their gears just to end on nothing is just so fun.
WEAAAAAAATHEEEEER mentionned !!! And its more of a 4 omni, the 5th one can be pull out only in standby when card go back and forth tbh. But yeah. Big cute omni appo to prevent u from playing WITH bonus sauravis effect in the kit just in case. And the other boss can float into this. Underated deck that need more top tbh.
I can think of a few. Fallen Paradise is the big one. Imagine that in basically anything else. Crystal Abundance (which admittedly is bad even in CB, but still definitely evokes that sort of response if you pull it off, which isn't that difficult), Royal Tribute, Toon Kingdom, Riryoku Guardian, Elemental HERO Nebula Neos/Cosmo Neos, basically any Abyss Script destruction effect.

@@Rahnonymous trust me I'm not I've been playing the deck for literal years and 1c combos simply don't have enough gas for both pep and amazing dragon on the opponent's turn without extenders so vast majority of the time you pass on sharak and a level 8 instead of pep cause a draw and multi bounce tends to win more game than a towers with very little backup interruption, and even with extenders you'd usually use them to access more interruptions rather than a guy that just sits there unless you know the opponent is about to break your board in which case AD is useless so you just have to go into pep and pray he's enough to carry you
What about Chaos Synchro decks?
Gameciel, the Sea Turtle Kaiju. Most people know it as the go-to Kaiju for boss monster removal, but if you can summon it on your own field with the Kaiju field spell active it becomes a non-once per turn omni-negate and banish.
1:00 E-Tele into Ze Amin into Chaos Ruler into Zombie Vampire and if hit tuner goes into HalqDon combo during 2022 pile format was just chef's kiss
Or clockwork night, to a lesser degree.
Or lair of darkness
Then he can still quick effect tribute one more monster if you're able to push through that
Anyone remember Vera the Vernusylph Goddess? You know, the snatch steal that is also mosnter reborn and negates on resolution for absolutely free?
Pretty much all of these cards are banned on our locals casual banlist because they ALSO banned every single handtrap.
*"If this card is sent from the field to the GY: You can special summon 1 'Tellarknight' monster from your deck."*
Yep, that effect is indeed not once per turn.
This is yet another reason why fortune lady’s need a war crime synchro and ideally at least 1 more extender (PLEASE)
Isn't that one flower cardian synchro that draws every single time enough? I don't remember
@@dhanyl2725 it’s like fine but I want forture lady’s to do smth that isn’t just draw cards
@@penguinoverlord9994 I honestly don't know what kind of war crime can be assigned to fortune lady...
Maybe its honorary field spell that banishes on summon, and extending from there a new card would be continuous spell/trap that banishes on special summon?
Wow what an alien concept, strong effects limited to specific archetypes are fine while strong effects that are generically accessible are fine. Who would have thought?!
No slander will be had against the Champ! We Stan Sargas in this household.
(Shenshen is also cool)
Indeed
Springans gaming for life!
God to see more Springans BROTHERS! All hail THE C H A M P!
I was always fine in master duel when Rongo Bongo was summoned by his actual archetype
@@stardust9470 its always funny that zealantis feels more fair in the decks abusing the "reset your SOPTs" than the actual meta decks.
Also, if you get a lock before using zelantis, you can just banish all your opponents' monsters.
Magistus is an extra deck lock but it also losses to pretty much everything in the main deck so it ends up being kinda worthless.
Traptrix Sera. She’s a plus 2 on your turn. A plus 2 on your opponent’s turn. and is only a link 1.
Isn't she a plus 3? She gets the field spell, a trap, and a monster right? Stupid good card but they did kinda need it
@@emilianoflcn field spell comes from one of your normal summons
@@emilianoflcn Field spell comes from Pudica
If you don't hate Sera you should be on some lists
I always smile when I see orphys scorpio search greater poly, like I'm about to see some real 3 Michelin star cooking.
Awakening of the sacred beasts is basically 3 floodgates and recursion in one card but you have to play sacred beasts
1:22 The sins of the Mayakashi community are finally forgiven. I see
Cyberdarkness Dragon is non-OPT omnis as long as you can fuel it with equips.
Doomking Balerdroch. It's all the zombie world deck can do and it's more than enough to make me want to destroy my monitor.
Meanwhile Suships are over in the corner being adorable, making up sushi menus, and get to accomplish nothing at all :(
6:42 everyone say hi Shenshen!
Hi Shenshen!
Shenshen aint too bad because it goes both ways
Bye Shenshen! 😈
Hi shenshen! :D
hi shenshen!
Abyss Actor is this prompt in a nutshell. They have IN-ARCHETYPE:
- Monster negate
- Draw 4-5
- Bounce (to top of deck)
- Mind control
- Tutor 2
But people are fine with it because "Pendulum bad"
And also in-archetype Diablosis
"What if Skill Drain lost to imperm", I mean, it technically can.
The best designed archetypes are rogue because they're too well designed to be broken
Didn't get to thread in time, but Magical Musketeer Max is the epitome this. Sure, just search 5 or summon every name from your deck with no summon lock after, why not? The next Zoodiac needs no less
I love my boy Max and he’s even more the epitome of this now that summoning him is ALSO full fiendsmith combo
before I watch the entire video: if no one said Colossus, I will be disappointed
Edit: my disappointment is immeasurable and my day is ruined
That's because Colossus isn't cute, and it shouldn't get a pass.
Agents player here in 2024. Still very fun
Can confirm barely anyone at locals cares about me running Kristya. They just say "aight fair enough", scoop and it's off to the next duel lol
Every card that makes ursarctic playable is a great example of this. Draw 7? Of course. Extradeck lock? Whatever you need boss.
Folds to Ash? You get to run six Solemn Strikes.
I play like, tier 3/2 decks in most formats, have NEVER beaten a dinomorphia deck, your deck dont lose to shit if you're set up at all.
Dinomorphia is constantly riding such a fine line between life and death AND have such a cool aesthetic that they could have a card that says "Pay Half Your Life Points; Shoot Your Opponent" and I'd think that's okay.
Not to mention morphia has one of the saddest yubel match ups of all time, literally cannot win against yubel.
Rexterm fulfills every Yugioh fan’s dream of having a skill drain that actively points a gun at whoever is using it.
My poor Chaos Ruler. My Chaos Synchro misses it. It belongs to me.
Oh so of course I get to keep using the harpie floodgate trap
...in simorgh
Chaos Ruler is banned but not Zombie Vampire because every relevant tuner in the game special summons itself and a non-tuner to make an 8, then you get to do the Chaos Ruler stuff, then Chaos Ruler revives itself and is an 8 on board that can make... Zombie Vampire
RIP bozo, Chaos Ruler needs to never come back
I feel like Apex Avian could also fit here even though Mist Valley can barely summon him because infinite negates is really funny
You mean Floowandereeze Apex Avian and Floowandereeze Raiza? They're cool.
5:08 The difference is, this Azathot doesn't trigger on the _opponent's_ turn....
But Kali Yuga does the same thing. But that card feels more bannable cause "why are you still in Raidraptors"
I acknowledge it was a cancerous card that was an easy lock, but Union Carrier made Galaxy-Eyes SO consistent before we got the newer support.
I miss Snow in Lightsworn MBT. I miss her a lot.
Have you ever read the second effect of Beargram? No, not that one.
I’m glad jioh made it here. I would have submitted but I’m not on Twitter.
Zeal Weapon - Pegasus Twin Saber
It's a monster negate AT RESOLUTION that you can decide to use WHENEVER you want and there is NOTHING the opponent can do about it...
_(Unless they have any form of advanced monster removal... Or Cosmic Cyclone...)_
"why my card no negate????"
I've had multiple games where I thought MD was bugging out and scooped because I didn't know Peg Twin Saber wasn't interactable
"let's see what you can rail me with" holup
Zombie vampire goes in all my decks lmao. It’s literally just a worse chaos ruler
Destiny Draw is just Pot of Greed + set up GY that you can have 3 of
I would quibble on the Toy Vender classification. Fluffal can combo into the fucking sun, but their endboard is so fucking bad; their best boss monster is bahamut shark lol.
A-to-Z buster dragon and armed dragon catapult cannon in Ojama are of these types cards
Hello Theatre Man! As a fellow theatre boy, I must say that every Abyss Actor scripts effect are busted. Here's the cinema lists:
a. Rise of Abyss King: Targeted pop, conditional spell speed 4 that is consistent
b. Dramatic Story: Non-target 2 compulse
c. Opening Ceremony: Draw 5 cards on maximum
d. Abyss Prop - Wild Wagon: Literal allboard compulse
all of that with a consistent, guaranteed, non-negatable Field spell Theatre to pop them, because 99% of time you activated it *inside* of Producer's chain link! However, the xenolock, non-searchable wild wagon, and pretty much people ewh-ing pendulum makes me always go under the Billboard, hehe.
That moment when he says "this works in generater" and dire's avatar just shows up. My favorite gag in the whole channel, dire memes.
OH BEATRICE.
OH DESIRE.
Didn't realize dokkan was trending lol WE SAIYANS HAS NO LIMITS
Shout out to my favorite deck, Ursarctic and it's ability to put up Triple full extra deck negate while drawing half your deck
The Blazar take is actually unhinged.
Somehow the only place Beatrice isn't a problem is in her own archetype 🤣
When MBT wanted people to rail him in the intro I felt something in my pants
Hopefully it was shame
Jioh the Gravity Ninja still permanently books the monsters even if he leaves the field. He's a house against link, xyz, and synchro decks
King Ojama comes to mind. Limiting monster zones is absolutely miserable...but it's an Ojama card lol
Also, back when madolche was released, Tiaramisu was CRAZY.
