When it comes to corn, usually when the threads come out (of the top) are dark red as well as the leaves surrounding the corn are firm to the touch and resemble paper a bit (not squishy), I started eating them. In front of the house I grew up in, across the road, there was a huge cornfield where me and my sibling went and picked corn. Before eating them, rinse the corn THOROUGHLY as there can be tiny insects on them. Doesn't always happen but better safe than sorry ^^
Ahh awesome thank you for that, we'll have to remember for future reference! That's so cool that you were able to go and get them that easily when you were growing up, i'm jealous! But yes, there were lots of earwigs and other creepies hiding in there! 🙈😂
What a nice place to be staying. I can see why they needed housesitters with all the garden needing watered. Those veggies look devine. Homegrown strawberries are the best. Glad to hear you were earning some money as well - considering you had to look after the garden and units.
Nice video!!! Looks like you guys got lucky with a house sit that has so many fresh fruits and veggies. I have a house sit coming up soon too and this just made me so excited for it :)
Happy New Year's All =) Thanks for showing how to eat an artichoke(they are intimidating to me), honestly I've never eaten a whole one. Gotta give it a go now lol
Maybe you should change the channel name to "Kay and Dom living the dream life" 😂 but in all seriousness, this seemed like such a beautiful day 😊 much like all your vlogs from the van as well. I hope you're still having great days like this and I wish you a happy new year!
If Dom got 10 points for pouring water down his tshirt how many do I get for pouring olive oil and balsamic vinegar down my favourite hoodie? ☹️ Keep having fun xxx
Kay And Dom Do Life Surprisingly Yes! A Vanish/Shout/Good scrub succeeded. So pleased 😁 It is from a tiny independent surf shop in Mawgan Porth called ‘Married to the Sea’ and I love their stuff. Much love xx
@@lindatait5326 i just had a quick google of the place out of curiosity and can't believe how much the shape of it reminds me of perranporth! We went there on a mini camping trip a few years ago and fell in love with that area ❤️
Kay And Dom Do Life Cornwall is paradise and Mawgan Porth is my sanctuary and the phone reception is crap which makes it an amazing escape from the world 👍 Stay happy xxx
Hey! thanks for sharing your experience, I watched your video to prepare myself for a videointerview I was going to make with other house sitters. And I really enjoyed it! Also now I posted that video on my channel, would be awesome if you could check it out and give me your thoughts about it! :D Thanks a lot and I wish you an awesome day!

Those strawberries were so good! We can't even find them in the supermarkets now never mind pick them out of the front garden first thing!! 😂
