If you’re thinking of coming to Prime Inc or want to get your CDL license. I honestly believe Prime is a solid company to start your trucking journey. Make sure when you fill out the online application @ www.primeinc.com put my driver code STREXA on page 2 of the application when it ask who referred you. Thanks for watching my video 🤙
Hey Rex, is there a way of viewers like myself send you gifts? Like a PO Box or something? I have some custom stuff ideas for your truck that I would like to send to you.
Rex, please don't disconnect the abs light. It is not a violation for it to be on, but if you get inspected and they find it is disconnected, that is a violation and you will get cited. DOT does not cite you anymore for the light due to it's a constant problem that can be fixed, you hit a bump and it can come back on. Just a FYI.
Thanks for all the videos Rex, they definitely helped and I'm currently on the Pa turnpike with my trainer headed to Minneapolis. Thanks again, and yes I used your driver code!
Hey Rex love the video. When you delivered to hazleton I knew exactly where you were at since you were like 40 minutes away from me. Be safe out there.
Yooo wassup Rex and that’s apart of Trucking.. and with the Cb I Bought the striker it works Better and 33,000 miles!!? Sheesh that’s like two moths out right? But they said I Gotta wait till after January and I’ll Be joining the tanker division.. But with me luck Rex and I Gotta Pay off this clearance house basically like a s.a.p Program. But Be safe out there
Last time I went through Shitcago was a Sunday. 1030 one way and then about 1500 back. Even that sucked quite a bit. I avoid that place like the plague whenever I can.
Rex, I asked a tanker driver if they had a CB when there was a car accident on the doner summit but the driver didn't have a CB it was a Schinder driver the semi truck was orange
Love all your videos and how you explain what its like to be a great driver. You work hard and are a great representative for your company. Happy holidays and hope to see another video soon.
Take the CB to a good CB shop and they can easily replace the on/off dial. It will save you some bucks! Enjoying your journey. Buy your next truck, don't lease it. No limit on your mileage that way.
Hey BRO, What is your refrigerator brand and model? Where did you purchase it? Along with pre-planning, I am doing some pre-purchasing,lol. Just getting things lined up so when I get my truck, I have things lined up. Be safe BRO, and I will see you out there soon.
Sorry don’t know the model currently at home, purchased the fridge at the prime terminal for $800 and $50 for them to install it. Prime deducted my paycheck $100 per week til paid off.
Great, Thanks for the update. Good to know that, will save time and comparable in price to what I was looking at. Looking forward to more informational videos and hope you had a great Thanksgiving with your family.
A lot of lease operators keep failing , complaining about pay , dispatcher issues , and just Prime being a “cult” or a very bad company in general. My question is what are you doing different that is making you so successful at this knowing that you hopped in the deep end right out the gate?
#1 I NEVER complain or talk about prime or my dispatcher in a negative way #2 I NEVER deny loads “so I’m a team player in primes 👀 #3 I driver slow “to save on fuel cost” #4 I utilize primes recommended fuel stops “this saves me $80-$200 per week # I NEVER really ask for home time “living in Springfield on the inedible tanker division routes me to the house 1-3X per week”.
@@truckingwithrex From all your videos I watched you definitely seem like a 1/1 driver so that all makes sense , stay safe out there and happy holidays.
so you save in fuel but lose with cents per mile- 60mph at 50 cents is 30 bucks an hour (you used 5.9gallons saving 12 cents) 65mph x 50 cent is 32.50 you are losing 2.50hr check it with a nerd, and being the truck earns far more than 50 cents that 2.50 is probably over 10 bucks vs saving 12 cents. mif you see this repond in a future video

Idk who to put in for referral. I have reefer experience, and tanker, but they went out of business
I applied to prime already, but forgot to put in your referral code. My bad!

Now I know if I roll past rex going 60mph. I'll be blowing my horn and say what's up over the cb. Love the videos
Love your videos man. I drove in the reefer division years ago. was a good company. I think if I ever went back OTR id want to go tanker
Good trip planning and good speed. Saves fuel and you will never be late.
Just met you in Kansas! Thanks for taking the time to talk!
Anytime! Be safe bro! 🤙✌️
I’m always looking for you, and today I passed you twice on hwy 36 in Missouri.

you were so close!! i work for NFI right next to the minooka terminal
Very smart Rex, if you have the available time. Running slower increases your revenue. Another great video. Peace
Hey Rex, by going slower and saving on fuel costs, you most likely see your tire wear improving too!
I80 in PA gets bad the day i went to get my cdl was after a snow storm and trucks were left everywhere in the middle and on the shoulder
Hey Rex! Another cool video! Can't wait for the next one! Be safe! 🔥🔥🔥
i see that you went through my old stomping grounds. thats when 94 and 294 split in lake and cook county, il bordor
Can’t imagine how you would feel going through Los Angeles. 1:30pm clock out time used to get me home in 2 hrs driving 19 miles.
Knipex makes some fantastic cable cutters, make easy work of wire rope seals.
Dude who made your intro??? Thats dope!

Love the vids as always. Love these longer vids too. Keep it up Rex
I’m a construction worker and I’d say that’s a fair assessment of how we do.
i am a new subscriber. I wanna ask you a few questions later on when i get back home.....
I really enjoy your videos I’ll be at prime soon! Hahahha
I had the the same issue with my radio. Its the switch that needs to be changed. Take it to cb shop
Rex, I asked a tanker driver if they had a CB when there was a car accident on the doner summit but the driver didn't have a CB it was a Schinder driver the semi truck was orange
Hazleton is about 20 minutes from my house what customer did you go to? I used to work out of theat industrial park
Born and raised in the Chicago area. Trust me. Traffic is always bad
Love all your videos and how you explain what its like to be a great driver. You work hard and are a great representative for your company. Happy holidays and hope to see another video soon.
I’m sure I’ll have a bad day but as a night time Costco driver it’s the easiest job I’ve ever had.
On the maps yellow means slow traffic, red means parking lot on the highway.
What up bro! Do u pump off most loads or is it mostly drop n hook? I pump off probably 75% of my loads. Love your videos
Most loads on inedible side the customer hooks up and pumps off, 20-30% I pump, 5-10% drop and hook

Double upload say what
Wanna see bad roads.... Come to Michigan. You can mix a drink with all the potholes and bumps.
What’s your favourite Monster flavor? What’s your least favorite?
Wats up rex
Every time yu have to wash out the tanker do yu have to pay
Prime pays for tanker washouts, after every unload tanker must be washed out prior to next loading
How many gallons are them tankers
6800
Yeah, good mileage but that would drive me nuts. You become a traffic hazard by obstruction everyone goes around you. Whatever safe travels rex.
drive like a snail is right.🐌💰💰💰
Kinda like driving truck smoking cigarettes all day and drinking monster !!! Lmao😂😂😂
When you said "It's Monsta Time!" I totally expected you to put a flashlight under your chin. lol. You can tell I don't drink energy drinks
You don't have to speed up but damn get the hell out of that lane.
Any new hires will be gone before you get bonus
