If your thinking of coming to Prime Inc or want to get your CDL license. I honestly believe Prime is a solid company to start your trucking journey. Make sure when you fill out the online application @ www.primeinc.com put my driver code STREXA on page 2 of the application when it ask who referred you. Thanks for watching my video 🙂🙏
You're the best! Learn more about the tanker Yanker lifestyle every time I ride with you. I'm 62 with 38 year's experience. But, I definitely don't know it all! Be well and safe travels young man
Rex! Another great video you do a wonderful job at showing all of what's involved much appreciation for all your hard work man keep on truckin. Have a great weekend travel safe. Can't wait for another video. Until next time
Another great video with the pre plan changing that means more miles for you rite but i guess further from home appreciate the videos and i did SCHMACK that like button Paap keep on keeping on until the next one stay safe out there 👍🏼
Thank u so much man I'm not even out of my tnt training and I'm getting overwhelmed 🤦🏾♂️but that bit of motivation made it a lil more easy to deal with thanks Rex
Great videos mate. Just finished 5k miles on tnt food grade side. Want to do inedible when I get done with tnt. My hire date is May 8th so expect that cash in I believe 5 more moths for ya. Keep up the good work man.
Sometimes change is good. Planners that schedule your loads may have different plans. And have a change in destination in your pre plan. Be prepared and be ready. Sometimes somethings do come up and your pre plan, destination may change, may have a different load, also a good idea to find out when you incoming messages on that load.
One tip I have, always do your wingnuts on your hatch back to front, incase of any pressure built up in the barrel, releasing the back wingnuts will allow it to depressurize without blowing the hatch open.
I appreciate that bro! 🙏 and it’s the 10inch but I’ll be real the (diamond version truckers path app) is far better than the Garmin (imo) it shows you all parking including those small mom and pop truck stops etc.
Question, I know you have the T-MOBILE wifi but do you also have T-Mobile for your cellular service? If so, how's the coverage running the road? I couldn't remember if you mentioned it in your wifi video 🤔
Hello Rex, thank you for the opportunity to teach us about what you do. I have a question. I just obtained my CDL permit and I'm planning to join Prime in the upcoming weeks. I would like to know what the process is during orientation for tanker division, how long the training lasts, and the duration of the contract. Also, if possible, could you let me know how much they pay per mile?
Once you arrive to prime your put into a room at campus inn or a close hotel. The first 3-4 days is classroom training, computer training, watching videos etc… day 4 I believe you’ll drive on the simulator after this they pair you up with a PSD trainer. Your PSD trainer will be teaching you and helping you for your actual CDL TEST. You’ll learn your backing, maneuvering, and local driving around town. Around day 21 you’ll take your actual CDL Test. Hope this helps you!
@@truckingwithrex Ok, I was thinking maybe your Qualcomm only allowed you to input your logs.. Like for instance one of the local companies I used to work for some years back, we had Qualcomms but they only worked for duty status
You would think by now with all the tech we have that paper would be a thing of the past on Jobs? I really thought by now everything would have been done in digital with your iphone like work orders, contracts, etc. as for a employee's signed signature there are work around's like fingerprint or eye scans from your phone. To be honest my writing is so sloppy most cannot even read it! Plus It would make things a lot more organized and easy IMHO.

Can you remind me where you got your trash can and what's it called?
@@iHaNdleZ1 it’s called a luggable loo bought it at bass pro shops
Serious question my guy have you ever thought about training ?!
Hell no..they suck ass..orientation was a joke.trainers smoke pot with trainees. That's only good thing..
Do they take drivers with little CDL experience?
Great meeting you in East St Louis few weeks back. See you out on the road
18 year LTL trucker vet stopping by to say thanks for the videos!

Cool video Rex! I can't wait for the next one! When is your next live stream?
I’ll try to go live asap
@@truckingwithrex No problem!
You make some of the best vids Rex! Starting at Prime on the 19th. What size Garmin Dezl is that?

@@truckingwithrex thank you! I’ll check the app out first.
Maybe you need a scanner/printer. That way if you only get one paper, you can make a hard copy for your records. Like your videos, keep trucking!
I just seen your truck at prime east today lol
What is that blue tank with water called? Also what about that spray soap?

what was your reason for ordering the mid height sleeper cab?
I can go under lower bridges, less wind effect, some shippers and receivers require a mid roof truck
Bug juice washer fluid and a sprey bottle with a little of Dawn soap

How are like your new gps.
Do like it better than trucker path.
You make it look easy. Just joined prime thinking of joining tanker division. Do they run down south
We do have customers in, Texas, Oklahoma. I mostly run the Midwest some southeast and northeast.
Just out of curiosity Bro, It seems you do your arrival call and all your Macros on your phone; does your Qualcomm all you to do them as well
You can do everything on your Qualcomm also (takes longer and touch screen on those suck imho).
@@truckingwithrex Ok, I was thinking maybe your Qualcomm only allowed you to input your logs.. Like for instance one of the local companies I used to work for some years back, we had Qualcomms but they only worked for duty status
So, no 3 points of contact when getting out?
Do OTR drivers also get tanker loads ?
Do you check for dome gasket

I’m like 15 min from that truck stop you get a first weight at..
Yessir
Rexx .Silly question why do you seal empty trailers. ????
You don’t have too! I only done that a few time mainly so the lid doesn’t slide (sometimes they are missing the bolt)
@@truckingwithrex tks
scale tickets are covered by the broker/rcvr? especially a required one?
As a lease driver with prime (driver pays for needed scale tickets) they are a tax deduction
Good job idol
How can I apply? I’m looking to work for prime
Hey bro anyway to get in direct contact with you with questions about prime and the tanker side
Shoot me an email, glad to help and answer any questions you got! twr.overtheroad@gmail.com
Why dont you use the cat scale app to weigh?
I need to download the app had it on my old phone. Thanks for the reminder!
Have you tried on some Asics Gel-Nimbus 25’s?
Try the gel quantum 180. Little more pricey than the regular gel asics but so comfy
Yeah I got all the higher end ASICS (my favorite shoes for comfort period) well imho 👍
So I am guessing that You carry food grade liquid or non hazardous liquid.
Correct inedible (non food grade) = pet products
