The West is quite funny. Like Turkey joined the Korean War, completely for NATO's interest. Had been an ally to USA/NATO in Gulf War, Iraq, Syria, Libia, Egypt. Turkey has only sacrificed for NATO until now. But from all these countries Turkey had 0 help for PKK terrorist organization that threatens its sovereignty. They supported Greece when the military junta of Greece backed up a coup d'etat attempt in Cyprus which consequently resulted in Turkish invasion of Cyprus. Greece left NATO as a protest. But 6 years later Turkey allowed them to rejoin. Turkey allowed France to rejoin. Turkey always been friendly and constructive despite all these conflicts. But with Russia and Iran in Turkey's doorstep, Turkey asked patriot systems. USA did not sell these, and complained when Turkey bought Russian air defense systems. But hypocritical USA and West blamed Turkey for this purchase, instead of questioning themselves and asking themselves "why dont we sell this essential defense system to an ALLY". Now they use UNCLOS treaty they signed among themselves to subjugate Turkey in Aegean and Mediterranean Seas, force Turkey to give up on water rights completely. They both want to use Turkey and on top of it abuse Turkey. If they keep treating their most important ally like this, in the future they are not going to end on top. Russia China block will beat them in being the main world power. West needs to decide, do you really see Turkey as an ally? If yes, act also in Turkey's interest. Let him in as truly one of you. Otherwise, if you keep pushing Turkey away you are guaranteed too lose your current dominant position in the world. Your East and West is covered by 2 great enemies. You need a very strong and INTEGRATED Turkey.
We don't seem to like that much a country that comes from an Empire that attacked European countries for 600 years, you blame us? Blame your ancestors for the image they gave you.

@@RiboDox Oh wow so that makes YPG a legitimate freedom fighter organization? Just because for example ISIS is not active in the US means they are not a threat for the US or they are not a terrorist organization. Nice logic. YPG is literally the Syrian branch of the PKK which is a terrorist organization caused over 40 thousand lives and trillions of dollars of damage to the Turkish economy.
@@RiboDox Bro look at the map. Syria and Turkey share a gigantic border with each other, so yes it does matter. Going from the middle of Syria to the middle of Turkey is like New York to Ohio. Too close to one another. Plenty to be afraid of.
@@fuatkadija3277 If its very active, why haven't NATO added YPG to the terrorist list? Something smells fishy about the claim when none of Turkiye's allies has added them(I have searched but only found something with USA 2018 removing em from the list and was it 2021 or 22 that Turkiye flamed USA for something with using YPG).
Another argument that isn't mentioned in this video is the evidence of Swedish made military equipment as anti tank rockets etc which is being given to PKK which is considered as a terrorist organisation by Sweden itself. Since Turkey is being attacked with these weapons, Turkey consider this as an indirect attack from Sweden. And since NATO is a defence alliance, this practice doesn't make sense for Turkey. This is one of the main reasons for the blockade.
Given by who? Also, it's a very popular and common weapon type worldwide. Different versions of these weapons have been sold worldwide since the end of WW2.
@@peterzimmerman1114 it's where we face the real question. Sweden claims that they've been delivered by 3rd countries like USA who also purchased Swedish weapons. So there's no real answer to this.
@@WolfyGamerPro it would seem they'd be able to open an investigation into thisnand identify the involved parties, and determine how and what action to take. The American general also confessed. "We deliberately changed the name of the organization known as Pkk," he said. Who is who in the world, where the people of the world no longer leave their purity? He should understand this well.
That was YPG to SDF. And they didn’t, they advised YPG to change their name to SDF since most of their population were Arabs and so to promote multiculturalism they changed their name to SDF. PKK still has their name intact.

Westerners think that Turks are a Mongolian tribe. It is the other way around actually. Mongolians are a Turkic tribe. Since the times of unstoppable Genghiz Khan, Europeans view Turks as enemies deep inside. After all, which other race were able to colonize large parts of Europe, other than the Turks and Mongols ? It is this what the Europeans find very difficult to swallow. Europeans pride themselves being able to colonize other nations and races across the globe. But they themselves were colonized by the northern Asians, namely Mongols and then Turks. How can Europeans be colonized by non-Europeans ? This should be impossible. But this is exactly what happened in the history. I can understand why this is so hard to swallow for the Europeans. But it is not possible to change history. Old rivalries and hatreds don't help anyone in today's world. One third of Russia's population is Turkic. Do you really want to win a war against Russia ? You have to side with the Turks first. The key to breaking Russia apart is Turks. But Europeans are focused on breaking apart the Turks. For some reason, Russians seem less of a treat than Turks to the West. Times have changed. It is the Russians, who are the biggest treat to West now. Not the Turks. It is time to wake up !! Historically, the biggest enemies of Turks were China and then the Russians. Europeans always came as the third and the easiest. This has never changed. Biggest Turkic populations under oppression and cultural assimilation are still in China and Russia (and interestingly enough in Iran as well) but the west would pretty much turn a blind eye on the situation in Russia and Iran. As for the Uighur's in China, there is a degree of awareness in the West and thanks to America for that. We won't forget that.
@watup What a baseless accusation ! Can you fill inside of that claim ? Who is killing innocent Kurds ? Who, where and why ? You will never be able to polarize Turks and Kurds. We have been living together for a thousand years. By and large, we did not kill each other and lived fairly harmoniously for a thousand years. You can keep on sending money and weapons from the West with the hope that you can establish a new western puppet state in the Middle East. Such a state never existed in the history and it is not going to happen in the future either. You are saying "native people of this land". Where are Turks native of then ? Should we go and claim Siberia, which we left a thousand years ago, from Russia then ? Have some logic ! As much as Americans are not going to create a separate country made up of a few of their states and give it to native Americans, Turks will not allow a separate country to be created within their country. We lived with our Kurdish brothers for ten centuries and we will live with them together for another ten centuries. That is how it has been and that is how it is now and that is how it will be in the future. Both Kurds and Turks are Anatolians. We have a shared history of 1000 years, which was fairly peaceful especially considering what other things were happening in the Middle East at the time. Your wishful thinking of carving up Turkey will never materialize. When you make a claim about innocent people being killed, give specific facts and don't be vague. Being vague and making unjustified claims and accusations makes what you are saying not credible.
I'm part Turkish and part Kurdish. Turkey has become a lot more accepting of Kurds and Kurdish rights under Erdogan and many religious Kurds support and vote for Erdogan. The old Turkey under nationalists in Turkey is over and so Erdogan needs to be acknowledged for doing much for both Turks and Kurds alike. Turks and Kurds lived together for centuries during the Ottoman period, sharing the same lands for some 700 years. People need to understand that the PKK and YPG are not the Kurds. These groups are fringe groups and are a communist militia who aspire to carve Iraq, Turkey, Syria and Iran for a homeland that they will then seek to administer. Neither Turkey, Iran, Iraq or Syria have or will allow their country to be divided for the PKK without an endless war. The YPG only came into Western media because they were fighting Daesh/ISIS and the US used them for this purpose. The former US CIA director is on record for calling the YPG and the PKK as being heavily affiliated. You could use Al Qaeda and ISIS as an example, as theyre affiliated heavily also, only the YPG and PKK are not fighting each other, which is or was the case with Alqaeeda and IS. I wish for peace for both peoples and believe the common denominator is the current dynamics, which are very progressive. Kurds can speak, sing, name, study etc in their own culture and language now, without discrimination or prejudice. That's never been the case during the Republic era and this is all due to Erdogan, irrespective of whether you like him or not. People also need to understand that in Islam, ethnicity does not cause division. It brings people together. Erdogan himself says his background is Georgian but that this is inconsequential in Islam. Many Turks are Dadas, Laz, Balkan, Caucasian in lineage, but they all live in peace, like any other modern country that is multi ethnic. The PKK and YPG are the exception to this and need to be separated from the majority of Kurds who do not support acts of terrorism against their fellow brethren, the Turks, who they chose to side with in WW1. This doesn't mean that some republican and staunch nationalistic Turks didn't do wrong with their policies. They did, but one also has to consider the dynamics of a country that was forming out of the ashes of WW1 and where there were massive population swaps. Turkey tried to establish a sense of national identity to form a country out of a multi ethnic Muslim migrated population that came from all across the Ottoman empire that had collapsed. The US, Australia, Canada and NZ, as some examples, did far worse to indigenous peoples in the name of national identity, so don't be too quick to point your finger at the Turks!

I'm from Turkey. I have known hundreds of ethnic Kurds. With some of them I established lifelong friendships. I traveled to Kurdish majority cities. I have never seen a Kurdish youth having lost their native language. They always were fluent both in Turkish and Kurdish. May be it was a government policy to suppress Kurdish language especially during military intervention years but it only remained superficial and only in the state institutions. Families retained their language and were able to transfer it to the new generation. In this sense Kurds living in Europe might have more difficulties to retain their language than the Kurds living in Turkey. we have no official statistics but I am sure the rate of native Kurdish speakers must have been increased two three fold than any other ethnic language in Turkey. Another important point related to Turkey being not democratic is it was not directed to Kurds only. In recent Turkish history all groups that didn't fit official ideology were kept under pressure. For example Deniz Gezmiş. Considering Turkish Kurdish Relations by only taking into account last hundred years I think will be a huge injustice. I support Kurds having every cultural right, however establishing a new independent state is a political issue and can't be related to cultural rights. Turks and Kurds defended those lands together against foreign invasion for hundreds of years and it's politically unjust for Turkey to give up some part of it because big powers want it that way. We fought for that land together with Kurds not against Kurds. Ottoman policy was never Turkify Kurds and Kurds prospered and spread during Ottoman rule. I think independent Kurdish state is another imperial project and it's aim is not Kurdish cultural rights. It's aim is creating a puppet western dependant statelet thorough which big powers will have more influence in the region which has richest fossil fuel resources. They are doing it through PKK already. Countries like Finland and Sweden support PKK not completely on their will. They simply pay tribute to USA ,big brother, for the protection they get against Russia. Western imperialism always works through dividing ethnic or religious or whatever available differences. They pretend as if they care about Kurds but what they care in reality is power money control and influence. There has been more than hundred years since we defeated then Global imperial power British and their allies both in Iraq and in Gallipoli. But imperialism never learns its lesson today the USA took its place and continue every one around us to turn against us. It's today Kurds tomorrow Arabs the other day Armenians the next day Greece. Turkey is not Europe's sick man any more and we don't live in 19th century. Those who don't want and can't fight against us maintain a proxy war through PKK. Kurds and Turks should solve their own problem talking face to face without intermediaries not by fighting but on the table. How come those pacifist nations like Sweden and Finland send arms to PKK is a great irony. Doesn't the Kurdish lives matter to them? Whenever Turks and Kurds start talking to each other some countries get extremely anxious. Why do they want us to kill each other so badly? Answer is clear: They are afraid Turkey's rising up to its former power to its potential. If Turkey rises we all rise if it goes down we all go down including Turks and Kurds.
In some points i agree with you , but you have to speak about the origin of the problem and why everything ottoman empire promised to kurds never happened, the hole point was to use kurds against their enemies and kurds had no other options rather to fight safavid empire and ww1 for ottoman empire. And yes they fought for same land, but what turks got and what kurds ? And what happened to all deals between Sultan Salem ,Sultan Hamîd, sultan Muhamed Raşîd paşa and kurds ? Also the idea of independent Kurdistan never died at that time ottoman empire killed thousands in order to eliminate the idea of independent Kurdistan.
@@gheyasdoski4448 can you show some resources related ottomans killing Kurds? Most of the nations around Turkey built their national identity in contrast to Turkey. They all became independent from Ottoman Empire. Most of the time especially Muslim societies didn't understand why were they leaving ottomans since they were all Muslims. At that point national intellectuals had to invent Ottoman horror terror mithologies. At the end they themselves believed what they really invented. Today Turkey is being attacked from PKK groups from Northern Iraq. When Turkey intervenes it is covered by western media as an invasion. Probably some hundred years later they will be marketed as Turkey massaccaring civilian Kurds in Iraq. Reality is any sovereign state defends itself when it is attacked.

@@gheyasdoski4448 where do you get this information. I mean Idris bitlisi himself wrote an ottoman history in which he himself directly writes that Kurdish warlords were brought together under ottoman flag to fight against kizilbash Turks. He himself writes Ottomans and Kurds together drove out kizilbash Turks from Anatolia. Who do you think took their place? Yes Kurds. Alevi Turks were ethnically cleansed from Anatolia by the ottoman Kurdish allies. By the way bitlisi himself got the honour of negotiation and organization of the ottoman Kurdish front against Alevite Turks. In return he received promotion and salary. He even was governor of Ottoman Diyarbakır sancak. As you can see Ottomans didn't care about ethnicity and nationality. They openly fought against Turks allying with Kurds. By referring to Bitlisi you accept that current Kurdish existence in Anatolia partly depends on anti Turkish pro Kurdish Ottoman Policy at the time. Yes that's true because Ottomans didn't feel threat from Kurds since they were sunni Muslims. On the other hand kizilbash Turks were seen as a threat to ottoman existence. So Kurds took the chance and spread further into the geography taken from kizilbash Turks. That's the real history written by a Kurd himself idris bitlisi. he mentions killing if some forty thousand Kızılbah Turks which are civil folk simply residing at that area. Bitlisi proves the exact opposite of what you are claiming.
@@makay582 Idris Bitlisi began his career in the Akkoyunlu court, in the service of Yakup Bey, son of Uzun Hasan. He attracted the attention of the Ottoman sultan Selim I and served under him for much of the rest of his life. He joined Selim I in his campaigns against the Mamluks and the Safavids. In 1514 he led the Kurdish forces who captured Diyarbakır from the Safavids. Following the success of the military campaign led by him, he was able to form an alliance between the Kurdish notables and the Ottoman Empire. Selim I entrusted Bitlisi to persuade the Kurds to maintain the alliance between the Kurdish notables and the Ottoman Empire by delivering him with an exceptional authority to deposit territories to the Kurdish notables within the Ottoman Empire to govern over them with an extended autonomy.Bitlisi also assisted the sultan in establishing an Ottoman administration in Egypt, now the Egypt Eyalet (province) of the Ottoman Empire, after its conquest in 1517. He was appointed to numerous administrative positions of significant responsibility including Kazaser (district supreme administrative judge) of Diyarbekir and Arabia. Bitlisi was instrumental in the incorporation of the territories of Urfa and Mosul into the Ottoman Empire without a war, and of Mardin after a long siege. He played a key role in driving the Alevi turkumans from the whole region and the assimilation and Ottomanization of the remaining Sunni Kurds. As you can see he ruled in that but not kurds or kurdish tribes and after he died in 1520 everything changed , i can say he was more likely a diplomat between kurds and ottomans. And you are speaking as kurds are turkish ethnic groups, the kurds are origins of the land which is called Kurdistan= Kurds land
As a Swede and former militarist, I can tell you that Turkey's accusations are justified. In all my years in the Swedish military, I could not explain why our state was giving away vast quantities of weapons to terrorist organisations. Imagine if the Turks armed minorities here with drones to fight against our Sweden. Unfortunately, Turkey is right in this matter.
As a Turkish youth, I would like to say that; Sweden and Finland define PKK as terrorist like other EU countries, but. It does not define ypg as terrorist. It is actually an extension of pkk. That's why we can't come to terms. We get the weapons produced by the Swedes during the Turkish Armed Forces' operations against the YPG and we can see them. As long as Sweden and Finland continue like this, there will be no compromise. I personally do not like Erdogan very much, but this policy is correct.
That is EU and NATO policy. Finland does not have an independent foreign policy. In theory, it is possible if we secede from the EU, but it is not possible without NATO membership. On the other hand, we are already reaping all the benefits without liability and loss of reputation, so full membership is not that important to us.

Erdogan seems to think that anyone openly supporting Kurds or Kurdistan, anyone who has ever associated with someone associated with PKK, or anyone openly opposing Erdogan, is a terrorist.

nice video to explain the basics of the topic. on the other hands, the most of people from Europe tend to see the topic in their oriental, romantic window. ahh poor democratic minorities are just hunted by eastern dictatorship, dude Turkey gained the orientation during westernisation which mostly headed by german ally during first world war. The problem here is modernism, not easternisation. even in the video, the head is too much modern head. East has a different type society not homogenius, its impossible to provide such things. we all have seen what happened to Europe by nationalism during second world war. Stop thinking every nation has to have a state, its not a problem in the region, the problem is poorness, safety, hunger, whelth, education. not having one more dump corrupted state.
The problem is not even %5 of Kurds in Turkey support independance, as a Turk who educated in a boarding school with alot of Kurds and living in a majority Kurdish area in İstanbul, that i know many Kurds and never saw one of them wanting independance, all of them are proud Kurdish citizens of Republic of Turkey and love their country,i know many Kurdish soliders in Turkish army that is ready to die for it's country, they are not tricked and fooled by America unlike Kurds living in Iraq and Syria, Kurdish sepertaism in Turkey is funded and administrated from Germany and never in it's existance didn't even get %5 of the support of Kurds living in Turkey, unlike it is shown in Western media, Kurdish independance movement has no legitimacy over Kurds living in Turkey otherwise Kurds in Turkey would be independent already but it is something exported by İmperial powers.

Yes your words are true about Kurdish Turkish brotherhood I have Turkish friends too and I don't hate them or talking about Kurdistan with them and nor them are talking about Turkish Kurdish conflict we're brothers but Kurdistan issue is one of our rights
Normally I have no problem with Swedes and Finns. But I'm not sure what NATO wants. At the call of the UN-backed government in Libya, we undertook the NATO mission in Libya. In the past, we entered the Korean War and suffered heavy losses. Before the Cyprus Peace Operation, when we asked the great powers to solve this problem to which our people died, nobody listened. Greece, Turkey and England were the guarantor countries and when the forces that wanted to unite with Greece staged a coup, we offered to go to England and organize a peace operation together in Cyprus. However, England did not accept this. We carried out the Cyprus Peace Operation with the scarce war conditions of that time, and if people still live in peace, it owes it to us. Because there were constant conflicts and peace could not be achieved. The Greeks even killed themselves before the coup. As for Syria, which country has as many refugees as Turkey today? We want to place these refugees in these safe areas by creating a security corridor on the Syrian border and building briquette houses, hospitals, shops and agricultural areas there. We want to create a social life there. While doing all this, Europe and NATO have never sided with Turkey. While the USA, which came from miles away, was remembered as a hero, Turkey, which did not remain a spectator to what was happening on its borders, was always complained about. Frankly, the West is acting very far from reality. People used to love the West, but now they're starting to hate it. Because the west follows a hypocritical policy. Turkey has been demanding an air defense system from the USA for maybe 30-40 years. Receiving a rejection response for years, Turkey was going to buy an air defense system from China after a while, but America intervened and prevented it. Later we thought that they would give us this system, but we were rejected again. As a result, Turkey bought this system from the Russians. Turkey is your NATO ally, but you will not sell weapons. There is conflict on Turkey's borders and millions of refugees will come to Turkey. In order not to disturb the peace of Europe, these refugees will be hosted in Turkey and their passage to Europe will be prevented. But instead of working with Turkey, you will support the Ypg, which is the same organization as the PKK, and you will provide arms support to a terrorist formation on the borders of Turkey. @@TheCanaKurd This is exactly the case in my eyes. You know that the British made agreements with many nations to break up the Ottoman Empire. This includes ethnic groups that once lived in the Ottoman Empire. Armenians and Kurds, for example. The British promised to give land to these two races by using them. But of course bluff. I don't know if everything was normal after the Turkish War of Independence, but the country was already under the American mandate. In the following years, there were many games of both Europe and America that set us against each other, with the people we lived with for years, just for the sake of not improving. Later, the PKK, which was established to represent the Kurdish people, deviated from its purpose or it was already. It kidnapped the young people of the Kurdish people into the mountains and forced them to fight in line with their ambitions. Just because of this, the two peoples became enemies to each other for a while. For this reason, Kurdish was not spoken comfortably for many years. In other words, the Turks never persecuted. If he was persecuted, he responded. Now everything is back to normal. Everyone lives in peace. Anyone who says they don't is obviously lying.

Just ask them who are a few people like Qazî Mihemed, Celadet Alî Bedirxan that all Kurds should know.
If you don't trust the Turks on this matter even former us secretary of defence Ash Carter admitted on a testimony that "YPG has substantial ties to the PKK". Justification that YPG is "different" than PKK is thus very naive. We are talking about security here. Sweden was also accused of lax handling of ex ISIS-fighters. There are videos of Stockholm woth PKK protestors recognizable by their flag amd Swedish police did nothing despite them being listed as a terrorist organization. Sweden has a very different understanding of freedom of speech and democracy. Additionally Amineh Kakabaveh, a Kurdish MP, leveraged Sweden's social democrats to further support the YPG since she was in a kingmaker position back in 2021 and 2022 after the no confidence votes. Sweden has a huge immigration problem. This NATO issue with the Turks is just one of the symptoms. But it is easier to blame Turkey which is basically the Boogeyman of Europe than admitting having a failed immigration policy. Although I'd admit it is quite controversial of Turkey to demand extradition of even non Turkish politicians/journalists. The Swedish constitution is very strict when it comes to extraditions. I think if Sweden made concessions not to aid the YPG and listed them as a designated terrorist groups Turkey could lift their Veto. But let's see how things turn.

@kızgın tosbağa the west needs to learn of Turkiye's concerns, learn the history, and gain a understanding from the Turk's point of view. We the west understand that when old tribes are gone they are gone forever. This is a balancing act along with Turkiye's concerns that hope's that there's a answer where there is a win win situation and both can benefit.
@kızgın tosbağa it does not help us if it doesn't help our friend Turkiye, yes we don't have the same perspective but there as to be a solution. Not all solutions have to end up like Russia/Ukraine.
Kurds are in the highest positions in Turkey. Our former president is Kurdish. There are many Kurdish commanders at the head of the Turkish army. no one is disturbed. America and Europe support pkk and ypg. America is one of the countries that make money from the massacres. It doesn't want Turkey to get stronger, America is losing power.
President Erdogan's opposition seems to be based on completely different things from those officially presented by Turkey. For how else to interpret that Turkey throughout the process until only days remained before Sweden and Finland submitted their official applications supported membership for both countries. At the end of last week, President Niinistö revealed that in a conversation with Erdogan on April 4, he personally received the Turkish president's yes to a Finnish membership. - At the end of a fairly long discussion, Erdogan said that if you apply for NATO membership, we will look at it positively, Niinistö says in an interview with Ilta-Sanomat. At the same time, Erdogan has denied that he intends to invade northern Syria again to create a broad buffer zone between the areas controlled by the Kurdish YPG and Turkey. But since Turkey then risks ending up in direct fighting with the Russian soldiers in the area, Erdogan must get some kind of green light from Putin. By arguing about NATO enlargement, he hopes to win plus points from Putin. At home, he must win an election to be held next year. Most opinion polls show that he risks losing. To show that he can force the United States and other NATO countries to make concessions, he hopes to increase voter support. Bringing life to the fight against the terror-branded PKK, the main internal enemy, also goes home to the electorate and makes it easier to ban the pro-Kurdish party HDP. Sweden and Finland's NATO applications have ended up in the middle of a complex political game where the two countries do not have control over their own destiny even if they make concessions to Turkey. In the end, it is how far the United States is prepared to go to pressure Turkey that makes the decision. Given what Joe Biden has said so far, it is difficult to see that the United States would accept a continued Turkish veto against Sweden and Finland for any length of time.
@@divinejusticefeelsgood We will see if Turkeys Erdogan will let Sweden and Finland join Nato. Remember he is also friends with Putin and Russia so he is playing both sides.

I find it abhorrent that Westerners continue to support YPG, a terrorist organization that has committed war crimes and is using child soldiers aged 10-16. It doesn’t really matter. They are all members of the PKK. The YPG’s casualty data confirms linkages between international PKK-linked groups. Kurds from Turkey constitute a total of 49.24 percent of the YPG’s self-reported casualties between January 2013 and January 2016. YPG martyrdom notices show that 359 Turkish citizens, 323 Syrians, 32 Iranians, seven Iraqis, two Australians, two Azeris, and a person from England, Germany, Greece, and the United States each have been killed fighting since January 2013. The casualty data closely reflects known YPG offensives, including the 2014 clashes around Ras al-Ain with the Nusra Front, the battle for Kobani in September 2014, and the 2015 YPG-led offensive towards the Euphrates river and Ain Issa, a town near ISIS’s de facto capital of Raqqa. According to the data, the battle for Kobani accounted for 38.95 percent of overall casualties and 44.4 percent of the Turkish Kurds killed with the YPG between 2013 and 2016. The PYD’s political ambitions inside Syria are matching closely with those of the PKK. They pose a longer term threat to Turkish security. The YPG can be said to be the Syria branch of the HPG (People's Defense Forces), which is the PKK’s military wing. Since its establishment, a large number of the YPG’s manpower has been supplied from HPG terrorists in Turkey. Military and ideological training of Syrian recruits have been provided by HPG members and includes subjects such as the history of the PKK, leadership, Öcalan’s biography, and the history of Kurdistan. During the trainings, which are mainly conducted in the Turkish language, Öcalan’s own writings and Turkish translations of foreign political thinkers are read and discussed. Whitehouse officials have acknowledged that there are substantial ties to the PKK. Talat Silo, a spokesperson of the SDF, stated that the YPG takes direct orders from the PKK. Aldar Khalil is a PYD official who used to be a PKK commander. As a result to the arms and financial aid provided by our so-called allies our people are dying. Sweden and Finland openly support terrorists and harbors them in their countries. We cannot and will not disregard this matter. As a Turk, who has Arabic roots, I would say this video is pretty objective. Although people in the west don't know anything about terrorism. They faced less than 1% and they're saying they are freedom fighters. Dude. They are not!! I lost many of my relatives in the explosion in Hatay, Reyhanlı on 11.05.2013. We lost 53 civilian people in just one day and it is just a drop of water at the sea. Even 2 years ago my sister lost her fiance at the terror attack. So west, close your mouth and let us deal with our threats. You don't know anything about civil people dying in a country. TERROR IS REAL AND IT SHOULDN'T BE TOLERATED NO MATTER WHAT HAPPENS.
This is stupid under my 42 years in life i have never seen a PKK or YPG poster on Swedish street. And the Turkish embassy had to confesse that they have not either. And the weapon embargo is by the whole EU and USA turn to them if you Want it lifted, but if you buy weapons from Russia it will be hard.
If you refuse to protect your fellow Nato member while under attack OR at least sell weapons to protect them selfs (which is the whole point of Nato), this nation will seek opportunities elsewhere. For the past 10 years especially, Nato as well as EU is trying to block Turkiye in every way. Turkiye was the big man when they shot down Russian fighterjets, something Nato doesnt dare in Ukraine, how come nobody really supports Turkiye till this date. Suddenly Erdogan is the one to blame. West is never wrong, they are always right, right? The stupidity of the Western Nations made Turkiye looks elsewhere for cooperation.
@@pernykvist3442 Who said anything about domestic problems? I was talking about the bombs coming from Syria and falling on Turkish soil and killing Turkish citizens. Isnt that a threat to the security of borders of Nato member? How about downing the Russian jet? Turkiye requested air defence support to buy from US, how many times was it rejected? Or when Turkey was called by legitime rulers of Libya for support against a warlord that was supported by France, another Nato member? And also, if its not your problem, stop supporting terrorists.

@Cinema For Everyone its not an animal. It’s a country called republic of Turkey. But recently they’ve changed its name to Turkiye. But since no one really knows about the change, I still call my country Turkey
What a bias and horrifyingly inaccurate video. Especially in areas which covers the Turkish buffer zone incursion into Northern Syria. This is a resettlement endeavour, that which the YPG has actively participated in the removal, and resettlement of it's own people into areas which 3.6 million Sunni Muslim Syrian refugees (ran to Turkey) who once resided there. Turkey has cooperated with the EU in preventing the large spill over of refugees into the rest of EU, and devised a plan to resettle them back into their home land, free of oppression from the YPG, and Assad Syrian forces. Its rather disgusting how these media outlets are refusing to acknowledge the 3.6 million Syrians now in Turkey because of Russia, YPG, ISIS, and Assad, who are all belligerents the Turks are fighting against actively, or in a proxy of sorts. Get real people. Ger real fast. It's blatantly obvious how obscurely bias this video is about what's going on there.

If the same were true for the opposite, everyone would accuse Turkey of financing terrorist organizations that massacred Swedish civilians, thus being a murderer. We are fed up with your hypocritical policies.
@@somberlight All the Turks support Erdoğan's stance regarding Sweden and Finland's desire to become a NATO member and the operation against the PKK/YPG terrorists. As Turks we know that Westerners can be either very ignorant or that they are simply pretending not to be aware of facts that are as clear as day. I find it abhorrent that Westerners continue to support YPG, a terrorist organization that has committed war crimes and is using child soldiers aged 10-16. I an interview with the Wall Street Journal, Kurdish fighter Zind Ruken expanded on the PKK-YPG relationship. “Sometimes I’m a PKK, sometimes I’m a PJAK [the PKK-allied affiliate, active in Iran], sometimes I’m a YPG. Sweden or Finland's national security isn't more important than our national security. We will not tolerate PKK/YPG terrorists at our border no matter how many western countries support these terrorists. You should be thanking Turkey for preventing a world war by opposing Sweden and Finland's membership. NATO doesn't guarantee non-deployment of nuclear weapons in Finland, Sweden. We all know how that would end with Russia.

They really are basically the same group. The leader of the YPG was a member of the PKK for like 10 years and they use the same symbols etc.
It doesnt Matter because YPG isnt active in Turkey. They are only Active in Syria, he said it in the Video too.
@@RiboDox Oh wow so that makes YPG a legitimate freedom fighter organization?

:,)
Wonderful analysis
Being vague and making unjustified claims and accusations makes what you are saying not credible.
there’s no turk fym bro hahaha

What the Western regions don't releaise is during Deas war.. Turkiye was the one who opened its borders to the Kurds...
Turkiye is not attacking Kurds.. get your facts correct... it is attacking PKK(PYD)... difference...

That is EU and NATO policy. Finland does not have an independent foreign policy. In theory, it is possible if we secede from the EU, but it is not possible without NATO membership.
Pkk does not represent kurds

Ozal wasn't Kurdish, he never said he is Kurdish. Only his grandmother was Kurdish. Turks think any Kurd who is not assimilated is terrorist
You are wrong my friend. If the demands are met veto will be lifted.
@@divinejusticefeelsgood We will see if Turkeys Erdogan will let Sweden and Finland join Nato. Remember he is also friends with Putin and Russia so he is playing both sides.
i hate Erdoğan but i hate PKK more than Erdoğan .there is %85 supporters for this subject . Erdoğan is right to veto
I knew that Russia is pressuring Turkey to not allow Sweden and Finland to join NATO.
I find Stoltenberg's support for Turkey's "concerns" as legitimate quite strange. I think NATO would have been better off without Turkey as a member.

“Turkish Kurds” turk is one ethnic group and kurd is another ethnic group. You can’t force someone to become part of another ethnic group.
As you say Turk is one ethnic group, not Turkish. Turkish means the citizen of Turkey.
Turk: name of the ethnicity
Turkish: nationality term.
A Kurd can be TurkISH, but not Turk.

During the period before the application, Erdogan was repeatedly asked about his position on these applications by among others the President of Finland, Swedish officials and the Secretary General of NATO, among others.
He kept deceitfully answering that he saw no obstacles to this on the part of Turkey.
Once Finland's and Sweden's applications had been submitted, there were suddenly all sorts of serious objections (turns out they are wild accusations och grave misconceptions).
Erdogan apparently set a trap for the candidate countries. These have now ended up in a very dangerous situation, which Erdogan intends to use to his advantage
Now he wants to negotiate a deal concerning his mostly wrongful concerns. How can anyone be able to trust him now? He just tricked us once, what's keeping him from doing it again? Turkeys credibility is now completely and utterly shot.
A person with such an extremely lack of morals will never be trusted and definitely does not belong in any western co-operative organization! He has clearly no idea about how a robust democracy works.

That's why the PKK carried out hundreds of suicide bombings and massacred civilians. You are a liar.
I am strongly opposed Erdogan's rule , but still it would be foolish to assume that YPG and PKK have no ties to each other, nobody in Turkey wants bloodshed between kurds and turks , but those organisations are thread to integrity of turkish republic,
To become an ally to turkey, millitary support on YPG and sunction on Turkey is unacceptable and also an unwise in my opinion.
I don't think every kurds, Erdogan charged as a terorist are real terorists, Nato should be neutral and make an unbiased investigation for those individuals about their ties to terorist organisations , and everyone should accept the outcome of it
I personally want sweden and finland to be Turkey's allies , I hope we can find a middle ground and situation will be solved
Nobody wants to support terrorists, the problem is defining what is a terrorist. Turkey has oppressed the Kurd minority, like Iraq and others did.
@@danielekirylo A lot of kurds lives in turkey at peace but yet some of them used their national pride, took up arms and tried to form a sovereign state with force, it violates integrity of the turkish nation and also constitution of the republic of turkey, this considered as an act of terrorism everywhere in the world.
Taking refugee of terrorist suspects and arms dealing with them is not supporting minorities, it is a provocation of terrorism
Despite all of that we still live with them I also have lots of kurdish friends, they live just like us. we all know that it is not kurds = terrorists.
It is very hard to draw unbiased conclusions out from it, I know Finland and Sweden can't just handover anyone Turkey wants, they can't oppress their protests or right to speak it is against human rights.
But if you make a little research at over hundereds of terrorist activities they commited, I am sure you are going to understand us
@@danielekirylo They are killing our people both Kurds and Turks. Everyone in the country suffered because of PKK and they are the same thing as YPG. You know nothing about reality.
@@danielekirylo All the Turks support Erdoğan's stance regarding Sweden and Finland's desire to become a NATO member and the operation against the PKK/YPG terrorists.
Sweden or Finland's national security isn't more important than our national security. We will not tolerate PKK/YPG terrorists at our border no matter how many western countries support these terrorists.

🤣🤣turkey was sending and freeing IS in Libya so what's the difference between them?
I don't know what lies your media is telling you, but don't believe everything they're told. Research the truth yourself from different sources, I'm sure it will be more useful for you. 😉🙂The other issue is that Turkey is the enemy of ISIS, it will never let it go. And Turkey doesn't kill anyone 🇹🇷❤️Always helps the poor Turkey 🇹🇷❤️Turks are compassionate people and always defend justice. But rest assured your media is very liar I recommend you to research the truth a little bit in the Turkish media. 👍😊Europe makes us look bad to its people

Turkey is in the pocket of Russia. Should tell anyone the level of pity they deserve.
lol Stop labeling anyone who refuses to get into your pocket as someone else's pocket. It's time to learn that the world does not revolve around you and that other countries can make their own decisions of their own free will for their own safety.
@@ulkuasasoglu2896 you have legit worries on national level, but should you present your case amicably - things could be discussed. and you know, settled. you do not do that. you do not even want that. instead, you are blackmailing concessions from the US and using us as a tool.
regardless whether you like it or not, you will not interfere in lawmaking of another country. you will not interfere with the standards anyone keeps. so, there is no other way out than to sit on the same table and find a middle ground.
you do not do that.
there is only one beneficiary to any of this and its not any of us four.
This was expected because Erdogan never changes. Nothing to do with country, nothing to do with faith or anything. it is all his personal approach to politics.
that is always a choice
@@somberlight Is it a joke? You are the one who finances the terrorist organizations that we have been fighting for years, puts an embargo on us, always marginalizes us even though we are NATO "ally", always leaves us alone against Russia, and constantly threatens us and our security. USA. I am an anti-Erdogan Turk. I have never voted for him even once in my life and I don't plan to. But I ask you, how calmly can he voice our reservations? He said all the justifications in a supportive and calm tone. He said that if these concerns are not resolved, we will use our democratic right to veto the applications of two terrorist supporter countries to NATO, a security organization. How else would you suggest he express himself? come on tell us.
