Breaking a nail is so painful though. I literally watched a girl do a dance then break down in tears because she literally ripped off her nail. And there was blood everywhere. As someone who hasn’t broken nail that badly it still hurts like hell to even knock it.
I have extremely strong nails. That's generally a good thing. They don't break often, but when they do, it needs so much force that it IS very plainful. Plus, it's more likely they... rip, I guess, than just snap.
I've experienced it too. Haters have no souls to begin with plus they're some 8 year Olds who can never understand the pain of braking your nail! Yuna wore an acrylic nail for the comeback and not a press on which was pretty long and it will really hurt if it is broken and when you are in front of many people you wouldn't want to cry so her reactions were an effect of it even though it looks cringey to most people, I think almost everyone would have reacted that way if they were in the same situation

@@dfernandez3482 Press on nails like the description is actual "press on" nails, Acrylics on the other hand takes longer cause they're taking time to "FIX" the nails so it won't come off. Press on nails are very easy to fall off, but Acrylics if they fall off can legit hurt your nails like your nails can cut off and you can bleed. Plus they hurt like HELLLLL 😭😭😭😭(talking from experience)

I am a midzy and I agree the reactions were cringey but I have had acrylics and when they break it legit hurts like hell…they are literally glued to the nail and it can even cause bleeding (speaking from personal experience)

wonyoung’s case: i do think wonyoung should put a little more powerful into her movements ( fans should still inform her more gently ). however, i understand there might be health problems that affect her dancing.
yuna’s case: i see how it might seem cringey but breaking a nail can really hurt, so fans should be less harsh on her.

No, there's no defending her. No matter the reason isn't it easier to just tell fans the reason she keeps on missing the hair flip choreography? Whether its medical or personal, she keeps on leaving that hair flip part out. Yes on some stages she does it but when on live unedited broadcasts she always seems to leave that part out. I'm a wonyoung fan and defender, but I can't keep defending my idol to others when the criticism is reasonable and without reason. 1:36 I have my nails in this exact style and colours and the one on my left hand's middle finger broke like two weeks ago... it hurt so damn much. Not like I ripped my entire nail off, but I was bleeding a bit and it stung like hell, and it kept hurting for days too. Broken nails can seriously hurt *a lot* depending on how much of it gets broken or how much of the nail bed gets uncovered. I can feel her pain.

She is improving, which is apllaudable considering her schedule, but she is still not "good" if you know what I mean. If she keeps up with vocal lessons she may be there in the future though. For now, looks, hard work and maybe professionalism are the only things she will get praised for cause those are the only things being praise worthy. Again, this may be very different in the future

I don't think you guys understand the Yuna situation. She broke an acrylic nail and it hurts so badly. If anything, her reaction is mild. Breaking an acrylic nail feels like chopping your real nail off, and she broke a chunk so huge it could've gotten to her real nail and broken it too.
I would have started rolling on the floor and yelling if it happened to me, but she handled it without making a loud sound which is really crazy. If you guys don't want her to feel anything from that accident then you're asking for an inhumane thing that's impossible. I could tell she was about to cry and it hurt so much.
If you ever had an acrylic nail, you know it isn't easy to break. It's not a press on nail that you buy at the store and put it at home. It's acrylic. It's applied professionally, and secured super tightly on your real nails. Besides being secured in there, it's also very hard and strong, so breaking it is difficult. Not only did Yuna break it, which should be enough to make her cry from pain, but also look at images of her hand after the accident. She broke a huge chunk, the remaining nail was the exact shape as her real nail. She broke almost the entire thing off, it will hurt like her nails got stabbed. Her reaction is completely valid and normal. You can't control your expressions when you feel pain?? Her falling onto the stage with her knees is enough to tell you it hurt to Hell and back. Also, the pain of breaking the nail can stay for up to 3 days. You just want an excuse to hate on her. Leave her the fuck alone.

Gonna be real wonyoung is an idol first mc second so that should be her priority, the kpop industry is oversaturated as hell and genuine people who train their whole lives with great vocals and/ dance skills don’t get the opportunity to debut yet idols who solely just got the looks can, so in times like this I feel like that idol should be trying their hardest. I’m with Wonyoung not being the center if she doesn’t do the proper choreography. Also, they do hair and makeup for every celebrity (esp emcees) when they get any sort of break, so that “needing to keep her hair in place is nonsense. The only way I would be cool with this is if Wonyoung has vertigo at times? She does work a lot, and she has almost collapsed during more than one show. She doesn’t seem to have time for herself and no time to rest or *sleep* which can cause extreme dizziness. Yuna breaking jer nail and her kneeling down was a true reaction cause breaking anail hurts so much but the the after like the fake crying maybe a little cringe but she's not faking her pain and about Wonyoung I'll say this again and hate me if you want I don't care about minors who cant see their idols flaws. Well many idols do aegyo but not everyone is referred as a pick me girl. Yuna does extend her aegyo acts which def doesn’t look cute on her. I am not saying she is a pick me girl. It's just that she is called as one for a reason. She does over-act. She does try to look cute but to the level where tolerance gives up. Breaking her nail she did some crying gestures which was okay but what's with those clinging moves with Ryujin? Girlie never fails to disappoint💀

If I may, different countries and regions have different norms for example, in the West mostly America, it’s a norm to be overly sexy and mature, that’s why western artists behavior will be viewed as normal while in Asia, the norm as shown is to act cute , this is shown in a many aspects such as the music to the shows watched, it’s all about their culture. Yuna’s behavior will seem cringe to some people in the West and that’s okay , you are allowed to be unimpressed however telling her to change her behavior to fit your standards and preferences is idiotic to say the least , it’s her culture she’s interpreting,it’s her personality and if you don’t like it , you’re free to stop sticking around, it’s disrespectful, just because you wouldn’t act all damsel in distress like doesn’t make her wrong.
Regarding the Wonyoung situation, if you are pissed that someone isn’t rolling their head or flipping their hair when the rest of the performance was lovely then, you might be the problem. I’m not saying she shouldn’t give her all but like it’s not that deep,calling someone lazy when they spent most of their childhood chasing their dream and not sitting behind some screen like some internet trolls hell bent on hating someone who doesn’t even know they exist is , pathetic to say the least.
Go outside, review your standards of where your rage should be spent, drink some water, do a few stretches maybe go for a walk,just breathe.
