Another trick you can try that I learned from The Tunisian Crochet Channel is just using a regular hook but wrapping a rubber band on the end for a stopper.

You need both hooks to work the pattern .

Yes you can: use two single-end crochet hooks. Make for example 10 loops. Then catch the loops from the end, and transfer them at the end of the second crochet hook. Turn the work and make the other loops. I've just done two rounds. Only the first tranche is a bit tricky, the rest is easy

Misleading title. You cheated and started from a circle that you made with waistcoat stitch. Waistcoat stitch is not Tunisian crochet.

How is it cheating? She did not hide the fact. Should she have a 5 sentence title to include everything done in video. Also she touched on a circle in tunisian crochet. Expectations belong to the person who makes them. You can't fault the next person for what you expected.
