Perfect timing. Just this morning my Samsung r7070 began throwing C01 errors. I cleaned the entire outside of the vacuum including the roller assembly, but the error remains. I plan to take it apart to see if there's any dirt accumulation causing the error. Now I know how to get inside of this thing! :-)
My unit kept giving me the dreaded C-01 Error with nothing stuck in the actual roller. This video walked me through 99% of what i needed but I was looking to take out the brush roll motor. You stopped just shy of that, i was nervous but it just popped right out. I needed to get in there to clean it out and readjust the belt. The thing was full of dirt and small fibers. Once i cleaned it apart and out it back together worked good as new.
Thanks. Mine was sticking on the suction rubber.... Weird really. The rubber kinda rotted. Anyway you gave me confidence to just pull harder! Fixed mine as I have a second for spare parts...
Is it possible to remove the control board and other wires from the cover? I need to replace the cover on mine because the dust bin won't stay locked in due to a crack in the cover. I can purchase a new cover and it seems easy enough to replace assuming I can remove the necessary components from the old cover without breaking anything.
@@fritzwhittemore8124 no unfortunately not a lot of videos on these robots since they are not super popular if I still had one I’d made a video just don’t have one to tear apart
Hi, i have a problem with vr7000 It charge infinitely and when I touch play It doesn't start, do you have some idea, it's the motherboard? Thanks a lot!!
nice vids! vr7000 brush stops to spin after 30 sec. but the robot doesnt stop. do you know whats going on with my robot? the belt, motor, bearings are "ok".
@@SmittysWorld thanks 4 this superfast reply..I thought that too, but around the "Drum" connector on the 2nd board there are only 2 tiny transistors. voltage should come from the Mainboard... and then, probably when you already answered, I found it. I had changed the orientation of the brush motor cause of damaged bearing, switched the polarity (outer wires), and me or vibrations must have loosen the encoderdisk on the back shaft. 😱🐸 so pulled the disk closer back on....and whuuups ->runs 🏃♂️ The encoder signal is there and the brush won't switch off now. thank you so much, RobotGawd! Would have liked to see more information on the brush motor. My vacuum is making a screechy sound and most google results refer back to it.Good to see tear down. Thanks
@@johnandjacquestanley9575 your Vid is private.. this sound is the bronze bearing... i changed the direction of the motor by 180° (desolder), switched the voltage lines and reassembled it...working.
Is that the brush motor in the front? Do they have belts? My brush stopped moving, I love it, bought a Shark to hold me over until Sammy is better. Hopefully I'll have 2 working bots when I'm done: ), thanks for the video and help!
Hi!! The rotor from the brush make a terrible sound, it doesn’t spin on its own if I do it with the finger it spin but not with strong, i think it maybe be damage ? Or ware down, do you have any idea what I could do. I can send you a vid so you can check it out
Mine one did great job for almost 2 years.. Quite good on carpets. Now the brush doesn't spin at all. I have cleaned it up. replaced a the brush roller but still no luck :(

I unplugged the battery and let it reset. I pluged it back in and it works fine now. No tear down necessary

Yes it’s just a little time consuming and be careful the clips like to break
@@SmittysWorld Thank you! :) Are you aware of a video that shows those items being removed/replaced? I can't seem to find one anywhere.

sounds like something on the motherboard is getting hot and shutting down the voltage output to the motor.

Thank you ,, i want to know what color pin-out of it's battery ?
What model?
@@SmittysWorld I need the battery PIN-out color connection of the model Samsung Robotic Vacuum Cleaner SR8950 - battery model VCA-RBT30..
Mine is R7065 acts like dead. When I place it on dock and press start button, it sounds and after that no display and nothing. Any idea what's wrong?
Could be a completely dead battery or damaged motherboard
@Smitty's World... Thanks for the video. The brush roll is not spinning on my powerbot. I did a complete tear down, everything looks good.. Any ideas?
Could be the belt or gear inside the drive motor
