God is against Egyptian and foreign magic. I personally practice magic myself. Much of it is Hebrew prayers to YHWH. Jesus was a khabbalist magician. Solomon was a wizard(wise).

I have a cousin who has gotten heavy into whitchraft and tarot cards, he even threats to put spells and curses on people who upsets him. He basically does not care that this will damn his soul, and is starting to get a bunch of material things that he wishes for like finding expensive jewelry and has opportunities to be in Hollywood. Is there any hope for him, or should we just let him drift and become a toy for Satan?
The answer is yes there is hope for him, I use to be a practicing sorcerer and devil worshiper myself and just celebrated my 2 year recovery birthday over that. But let me tell you something his soul was already damned the moment sin had entered into his life like many of us the only thing he has to do is accept jesus christ as his lord and savior and pray for forgiveness and all will be forgiven. A lot of people now a days believe in your soul being eternally damned if you were to practice these things but in the end he's no different than a drug dealer, a porn addict and a thief in other words there is no sin that is bigger than the other my friend but if God can save me from a life from witchcraft and worshiping the devil than he most certainly can rescue your cousin. Through media watched documentaries my understanding of where the root and spread of witchcraft to evil spells comes from the Egyptian Empire finds; A priest found one of their books of evil spells and confiscated this book...what he did with it? I am sure that he and others might have still practiced their spells. Why did God end up destroying the Egyptian Empire? Seems obvious to me why he did so.
