I was doing the same tug of war thing with this episode on whether I liked it or not. The jokes were funny, but then I wasn't sure about the plot until the very end. It was hard to make up my mind on it, but by the end I liked it. I wouldn't put it as a favorite by a long shot, but it had some funny gags in it.
I didn't associate this with reality TV at all. Giving an interview for an article is a lot different :p Also I think they were less out of character and more panicked and not wanting to disappoint Rarity on something so important to her. They were refraining from doing what they would normally do for fear of disappointing Rarity. Also hiring them all probably will work, if she needs to cut back she'll know exactly who is better and who to keep. As long as she doesn't fire Coco. Only a monster would do that. Actually you might be the first person I've seen that only thought it was 'okay', but to each their own I guess :p
Hey, great reaction, at first I wasn't really looking forward for this one, but after seeing it, I totally liked it! XD. Now we have the Rarity: NO SPOILERS! The Twilight: Sweep, sweep, sweep and 3 seconds flat. Very funny episode. :D
i see pilots and mobile ponies and pulbtfiction references in the diner. someone is going to make a song out of Twilight's sweep someday. i just know it.
Rarity takes after you Blue Star, "NO SPOILERS!!" Weirdly I rushed on to type this and you were saying about Rarity being a pony after your own heart at the exact same time lol You should use that on your outros from now on. "Stay strong and pony on. And remember..." Rarity: NO SPOILERS!!! ;-)
My only question is can rarity afford to have four employees working for her in Manehattan? Plus, didn't Rarity have some sort of planner for how the clothes should be displayed in her shop? I used to work for a lot of retail stores in the past like JCPenney, Dillards and Macy's, and I can tell you something else. They always had planners for the employees to figure out how to display the merchandise throughout the store for customers, so I'm surprised Twilight is even having to guess at this, as Rarity should've had a planner for her to go by. That's just irresponsible on Rarity's part. I just hope Rarity makes Coco Pommel the manager of her manehattan shop, as that's the only way I can see this working out for her.
Hey nice reaction! I loved it. Now I am going to get into this, first off I am going to be bias you know that. I mean it was a Rarity ep!!! I am not sure if I have just been in a good mood recently of what but i also loved this ep! This ep is kind of what i want even ep of MLP to be like. It is a nice simple slice of life story, with some really great characters and good comedy. I loved that, sure this ep did not progress the greater story or anything, but you know it did not need to it was fun and simple funny and made me feel good. Oh the other thing I liked with the little "interviews" the mane six had throughout the ep. i disagree that it was a bad thing, it added something different, and to be honest after 100 some eps of this show, I welcome that greatly. It reminded me of a show like the office, or modern Family, when they do those little interview things. I though that was a great gag, and that with the addition of the background gags made this ep great. "I literally know nothing about clothes. I can basically only tell you if something is clothes or not. This chair right here? It's not clothes" best quote ever LOL!! I must admit, I was a little unsure about this ep. throughout but the end turned what was a good ep into a great ep!! So yeah before I go on about how much i liked this anymore, I will leave it there. As always i look forward to your next video.
+funloveish Thanks! Hmm interestingly in some ways this really was more of a Mane 6 episode since Rarity spends most of this episode locked in the Window display! lol I'm glad that MLP is dong "bigger picture" episodes but I definitely miss the slice of life, more fun casual side to MLP. It's kind of what got me into the show to begin with. It just seems like everyone is copying "the offices" style including the new Muppet show, and I just don't like it. But however it was different and was actually a pretty good way of doing this. Anyway I'm glad you enjoyed this episode so much and thanks for your comment and looking forward from hearing from you in the next video. Stay Strong and Pony On BlueStar Out

I think it's supposed to be based off of Parks and rec because the episode was going to be saddle row and rec but they changed it last minute :)
Great episode. Interesting perspective.

Personally, I think they've been "in character" for way too long.
