The fact that he was willing to give up the win to help The King finish the race, THAT got me 😢😊 And honestly I would've done the same thing give up a win to help someone finish a race.
That ending was actually quite good, it teaches you a very important value in life, humility and solidarity, this film was a masterpiece, it is focused more on a children's audience, but all ages can see it. Great compilation of reactions to Cars!
The ones reacting that said he should have finished first, then push the king across missed the point this movie was making with McQueens character development. At the beginning of the movie, McQueen would have seen Kings wreck as an opportunity to win. By the end of the movie, McQueen learned to think of others rather than just himself.
Also I think that if both McQueen and Chick crossed the finish line and The King couldn’t make it across then it wouldn’t count as a finish for him. So Lightning gave up the win to make sure The King finished his final race.
Part of me wished they did another photo finish, and realized McQueen touched the line. But if it’s true that King’s finish wouldn’t count if that happened, then I’m content.
They did such a great job incorporating two wrecks as The King's wreck on the final lap: Rusty Wallace's 1993 Talladega wreck off the front bumper of Dale Earnhardt and Richard Petty(IRL The King) 1988 Daytona 500 wreck.
I love this moment when realize that he cares about others than himself from being in Radiator Springs and what happened to Doc when he was one a racer.
Chick is a bully and a cheat, not to mention he caused the King to crash there for costing him the race and putting him into early retirement. 😡he didn't deserve to win the Piston Cup!
What I love as well about this scene is that Mcqueen could've been AT LEAST second in the race. But no, he made sure The King didn't have to be the last one just because he crashed. That's sportsmanship right there!
Cars : Final Race | McQueen helps The King | Cars : 2006 | Reaction Mashup | #cars I always love how Lightning chooses to give up the race to make sure King finished too. That’s great sportsmanship right there.

It could be considered attempted murder in the real world too. I don't know why he's acting like a car crash is more lethal to a car than a human, but yk whatever, if he wants to be stupid, let him.
Him helping the king finish was to make sure no one passed him over the way people did Doc back in the day. The fact everyone cheered at the end showed that what McQueen did made the king go out on a high note and preserve his legacy
it's always nice when the movie teaches you a big lesson but it's not always when the Hero gets the win but chooses to make the better decision even if it costs you the win
The dialogue in this video really annoys me. "Is that like a yellow card, does he get sent off?" Obviously not. "Just win the race anyway, he's gonna retire." Not the point. "In this universe, that's like attempted murder." As if car crashes aren't also lethal to humans, I mean, look at Dale Earnhardt. "How do you do that with no penalty?" Well probably because wrecking other cars is actually a legal move, albeit a questionable one. Honestly, it's like they don't know anything about racing. 2 of them used common sports terminology like it was football (or soccer if you're weird). "Yellow card" "Penalty"
@@Ollie.H-23Oh Shock! People watshing a movie about talking cars don't know racing rules. How dare they watsh a movie without being experts in its field!!!
@t34r what's your point? The film is centred around racing. Why would you watch it if you don't have any understanding of racing? But come on, "is that like a yellow card, doe she get sent off?" Is unbelievably stupid.

Do you know why Lightning McQueen let Chick win? So that his victory would not be clean since every time he boasts about it he will only reveal that it was the one in which he made the king crash and also where the other competitor refused that victory. That and, as Hutson said, as soon as he wins, they will forget about the king (although "Tex" really did care about the king, since they are more friends than partners).
There's a lot of people who gets too engaged on the heat of the race and don't comprehend the meaning of McQueen giving up the Piston Cup before helping The King AT THAT moment.
If he would have won the race before helping, it would be selfish of him, he would have just been thinking of himself as doc said earlier”name one time and I’ll take it all back” he did here with no hesitation.
Even if he did win, that would just be empty victory. It's like, yeah, you won the cup, here you go, now get lost, I need to speak with The King. People's attention is already with The King's crash. And much like celebrities, athletes rise and fall according to attention.
@@EternalVirgin Empty win!? Chick wouldn't have got the win and McQueens fans would've been joyous. I don't think anyone would've been too disappointed, given that they were confused as to why lightning stopped in the first place.
That's an illegal maneuver. It's already against the rules to assist a racer on the last lap, but when one can is finished and the other is not, that makes it worse. McQueen could've gotten disqualified for doing both and that's why he stops.
I think for cars 3 you should do the crash of mcqueen , the full final race with cruz , and when mcqueen gets upset and cruz tells his backstory and also when they meet smokey and his friends and mcqueen meeting cruz thats the best scenes for mashups reactions
