the Quatix 7 does not have a depth sensor. so while you technically could wear it while diving, it will NOT give any dive information NDL, which is required even for recreational diving. The basic Garmin dive computer is the G1 solar. That being said, the Quatix is great for boaters.

Sadly its not. Recreational diving watch in normal (47) size is still missing. G1 looks aweful and descent is too big, quatix/fenix/epix no basic single gas diving festure :(
