Dude, thank you so much for this video! I was making it way more complicated for myself
Glad it helped!!
I always try to stick it in the “Middle Hole’ as well 🤣
2:58 what about upgrading the brakes of an old bmx that does not have v brake 'post holders?'
Brake posts are called Bosses, Outter brake line is called housing, Furrels are the metal end tips on the housing. Stoppers or brake guides welded on the top tube where you zip tied the housing. What ratio is the drive you installed i run 43/16 with a 3/32 chain.
That's it KJ brake lever on the right side 😆
Some people run it on the left side! haha
@@SupercrossBMX. would that be the wrong side😄
Those brakes and that brake lever look sick af were do you buy ?
On www.SupercrossBMX.com or at your favorite local Supercross bmx dealer
At what angle do you put your brake lever? What is considered normal on a BMX? I've recently got hold of my first (secondhand) BMX. The brake levers on it point nearly straight forward. Is that a no-go?
That’s awesome! Welcome to the bmx community! I think that is adjusted too high. I like to stand up, either with both feet on the ground or standing on the pedals, and adjust the brake lever so my wrist is straight. Not rolled forward or bent backwards
@@SupercrossBMX. Thanks man! And thanks for the tips! I broke my right pedal off on my first try-out ride so I need some new material (also new grips, the ones on it are sticky). I also think I need to adjust the bars in onder to try hops, the bars now stick out in a forward angle. With 33 years of age I already feel somewhat old for a beginner. After that first ride I could feel I hadn't practice sports for a long time :'-)
Cool vid🔥😎🙃
Thanks for watching!!
Question? I’m trying to install my brakes, but how are you getting so much slack around the handle bars and still getting the brakes to hit the tires when using them?
Legal 👊
Is a parts list posted?
i have the same problem with backflips
its the worst! one day ill send it! haha -KJ
It's called a brake liner.
