Commoner Lee Sun is one of the most pitiful characters I've encountered in K-drama land. Dang! He was born in a lowly family, struggling to survive poverty. Then he later on loses his father due to injustice, and suddenly becomes a drug-addict puppet king who gets frequent death threats from manipulators. He also had to be away from his sickly mother and new born sister to fill in the sickening throne. Man, this guy got robbed of life! Other than those, he almost became a monster as he feared he'd lose his only qualification as a man to Ga Eun. But his genuine love for her was never reciprocated, but still dies in the end in order to protect her😭 He's my top favorite character in this drama, tbh. He deserved better!
It's perfectly understandable why Kim Myung Soo won the "Best Character Award" for his role as Lee Sun in this drama👏👏. And his acting skills continue to cause the admiration and recognition of everyone who sees him perform, as in his lead role in ❤"Miss Hammurabi"❤ for which he was nominated in the "Seoul Award" and in the "AAA" this year, occupying the 3rd and 8th place respectively👏👏. There is no doubt that Kim Myung Soo has become a great actor.💕💕😊👏👏👏
L's character in this drama was dealt one lousy card after another in life. He was born smart but extremely poor and with a very low status. He made bad choices and became obsessed with the girl, but he never was truly happy despite somehow getting himself in a position of power. He made so many sacrifices for the king and this girl who did not love him back. His redemption came at the end of the drama, but it was a bittersweet redemption.
I watched this k drama 2 years ago and watching this video again amde me cry. The song is just so sad and L's voice is so emotional. I applaud for his excellent skills in acting, performing, and being kind and handsome ❤

@@goldenrowoon7483 yeah it's so tragic he sacrifice so much for the crown prince, pretend to be crown prince to save real crown prince got controlled to drink poison, leave his family and at the end he got killed because he was protecting the girl that doesn't even like him. Some people hate his character because he try to kill the crown prince at some point because he was manipulate. At the end the main lead got happy ending except him and second female lead that die because trying to protect main lead too.
Please don't watch it ... I just finished it n it breaks to see him in this drama. ! His character is a really pathetic one .. u will end up crying soo much .... He appears in the screen for few mins in which he is shown as the villian most of the time ..
