My heart hurts for Hwa Geun. She loves the Crown Prince without any hesitations and she's willing to give her all. So pure and doesn't demand anything back. She also portrays such a woman empowering character. I really love her character. She's strong and confident but she also needs to be protected. This song fits her better. I thought her character was a villain but it actually isn't and she plays such an important role for the Crown Prince's life. Without her he could've been long gone.
My thoughts exactly.. :'( Never in the past 36 episodes did i cry for Ga Eun but Hwa Geun's story is just different. She has such a selfless love for the Crown Prince. Sacrificing her own life and even offering to marry the prince (and allowing him to marry the woman he loves later on) just so he could live are definitely the purest things that a woman in love will do. But that doesn't change the fact that her very own grandfather killed her. :/ I also feel sad for her father. :'(
lianne016 i definitely agree with you also w/ the part about hwa gun's dad. I hated him but not I understood why he was acting like that. He was being a father but also wanted to be treated as a son. Dae Mok was really one difficult character. This drama was overall beautiful. Painful but beautiful.

I love how Kei just surprises people. Everyone knows her as a really cute girl from Lovelyz with powerful aegyo but her voice is twice as powerful as that. This OST is one of the many songs that showcases Kei's amazing voice color and emotions. Honestly, it makes me sad how people sleep on talented people but I know Kei, as well as Lovelyz as a whole, will shine so bright that everyone will finally recognize their capabilities and talents.

I've just finished this drama and my heart broke into million pieces for Hwa Geun, she was a very perfect second female lead! She literally sacrifice her soul for the one she love 😭💔
At first, I thought Hwa Geun would turn against the Crown Prince after seeing him in love with another woman. But after seeing her character build through the episodes I just loved her more and more. The biggest sacrifice she made was burning the heart of the Pyeonsu group that caused her death. And, even in her last moments, all she thought of was the Prince. Unlike Yi Seon's, the commoner, love for Ga Eun, Hwa Geun's love for the Crown Prince made her do sacrifices that helped not just the prince but actually helped the entire kingdom of Joseon. All the love for Hwa Geun!
At first, when she met the real prince, i don’t really like her. But then after ep 28-end she became my favorite character. She is so pure and strong. Even tho the real prince didn’t accept her love, she never change to be a bad person for once like the fake prince. Hwa geun is the best character in this drama.
And btw, Kei's voice is soooo ethereal. I don't know how to explain it but it gives you hope, feels and just..... really comforting. This song is a masterpiece. This is probably one of my top 5 best kdrama ost ever.

Gon and Hwa gun are my favorite characters on this one! I love their character. Both showed what it is like to love someone unconditionally. They both sacrificed and was selfless. They both showed loyalty and the pain of losing someone who means the world to them. I cry everytime I see Hwa Gun and Gon.

Gon and Hwa gun are my favorite characters on this one! I love their character. Both showed what it is like to love someone unconditionally. They both sacrificed and was selfless. They both showed loyalty and the pain of losing someone who means the world to them. I cry everytime I see Hwa Gun and Gon.
