    Nice to see an example of an off-brand use of the 007 Gloss Enhancer Ceramic.

    I love me some clean engine bay. 👍🏽 I shut off my pressure washer and then rinse off, too lazy to pull out the hose. 🤣

    New to your channel… I just ordered your ceramic gloss enhancer can’t wait to use it… I was at the car wash today waxing in 80 degree weather and I’m like yeah this is to much work on my 2020 Jeep Grand Cherokee Altitude.. maybe a car wouldn’t be so bad.. anyways look forward to ordering more products from you.

    Would like to ask you about engine bay detailing on a hybrid engine bay. Any different technique?? Thanks!!!

    LOL, you just enjoy playing with all you tools and products. Most car owners care less if engine bay is ever seen, you and I both take some pride to do this at least yearly.

      funny i rarely pop the hood on the Stelvio but when I shot the 2 year video i had to edit those clips out because of how dirty it was so it prompted this video the next day.

      ACP, mild dilution. Simple green works well also.

    Another tip, I like to use an inexpensive tire foam product on the engine. I first use a foam gun filled with Super Clean, Dawn Dish Soap & Purple Power Vehicle & Boat Wash. Then rinse, apply the tire foam, (about $4.00) let dwell & rinse, blow dry, the come back later and apply a rubber, vinyl, & plastic conditioner. You will be surprised on the out come, it will blow your mind, plus it is very inexpensive...

    Great video on engine bay cleaning. I think you should have emphasized not doing this on a hot engine as I'm sure you'll get complaints from those who did!

    how do you know which parts of the engine bay to avoid? i see some people cover the electrical parts but is it safe for most modern cars to just use a garden hose and spray it wherever you want?

    • @autofanaticcars
      @autofanaticcars  3 роки тому +3

      best advice I can give you is keep away from the fresh cowl vent on the passenger side and look over the engine bay for anything exposed like an open element air filter should be removed or covered prior.

    I’m not a mechanic so not very knowledgeable about car engines, but I would be nervous to spray water in the engine bay. Would it not damage certain electrical components? Also, the Giulia Quadrifoglio (and other high performance cars) has shields throughout the underside of the vehicle for aerodynamic reasons - would water not accumulate and remain on top of the shields if one sprays water down from the top of the engine? Would appreciate comments on these questions. Thx.

      In real world scenarios you cannot eliminate water from getting on and in electrical connections and mechanical parts. Car manufacturers design around this using water tight seals. The most important thing is to never use cheap corrosive chemicals that can eat and destroy electrical connections over time this is why i use our professional wheel cleaner as it protects metals it comes in contact with and prevents corrosion

    @autofanatic I just ordered the 007 Ceramic from Amazon, but the label just says 007 and nothing about ceramic. But the Amazon description states 007 Ceramic ec. I know there’s been labeling issues, for example I also ordered the new snow foam and it came with the old label, but it’s the newer version because of the viscosity. So my question is, did I truly get the 007 ceramic version even though my label doesn’t state 007 Ceramic? Please le me know. Thanks

    • @autofanaticcars
      @autofanaticcars  3 роки тому +1

      yes it is all the new stock Amazon is horrible at inventory management and should not even have the first batch of the 007 ceramic from months back using the old labels left to ship. I did a video on the channel last month on this check it out I explain it all.

      @@autofanaticcars Yes you are correct. I compared them side by side, the old 007 is like a Milky/Cloudy Pink whereas the most recent one I ordered is a Clear Pink almost like Pink Lemon-aide, no cloudy-ness. Plus you can smell the Sio2 or Ceramic or whatever it is, almost like a fresh plastic smell. Right on. Thanks for your reply.

      since the covid crisis there is one components that we must source from 3 suppliers due to shortages still and we do so many production runs throughout each year which is the tint variance but the formula is always the same. We also do not add dyes to this product so this is the natural color

    FYI, Superclean as well as most APC's are alkaline not acidic.

    • @autofanaticcars
      @autofanaticcars  3 роки тому

      lots of APC have acids in them even though their PH might not be on the acid side and lots of caustic soda is also in many of them as well which is pretty harsh on white metals. I do not use any APC on any of my cars.

      Thanks for sharing, but I’ve been using a pressure washer with 40 degree nozzle on all my cars engine bays for years , I use diluted super clean also and auto fanatic 007,
      I pretty much do it the same way as you but with pressure washer , nozzle in gun only and hold it up hi over the engine so there is no pressure just a little water and breeze from the pump , I also cover my alternator with a plastic bag , never had any problems, and have amazing results 😄
