I thought it was going to go wrong but with your skill and patience it looks great that bike transports me back to the sixties it’s fantastic good job York uk
Thanks for the compliment!! Patience is the key!! I have to admit I was nervous too!!
Wow, such a simple trick to make it look even more classic
Thanks glad you like it!! Thanks for subscribing too!
Nice demo, it looks great 👍
Thanks for watching!
Did the same just with a brush. Rough painting and grind at the end for those crisp edges
I was thinking of doing that but was worried it wouldn't be as even as I wanted, good for you!!
That looks fab ... how it should have come from the factory ...BUT... those crafty Enfield guys let you do it your self ..... and it looks Fantastic !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I agree it should have come like that!! Thanks again for watching!!
Nice touch,looks great
Thanks 👍
Excellent job
Thank you very much!
Nice! Will do this next spring. Thanks!
That's great, glad we were able to help you!!
Very tidy job! Was going to use a brush on my Interceptor but spray can is worth the extra effort.
Cheers.
Thanks 👍
That’s nice... way better...👍
Thanks 👍
Hello very nice rendering 👍👍👍
Thanks Very Much!!!
Looks 100% better! It should come that way from the factory. I'm 68 years old, grew up with the old Bonneville's, BSA's, Sportsters, and the rare MK 1 and Mk 2 Interceptor's. I've always used Semichrome polish, have you ever tried it?
Hey thanks for watching and yhanks for the input. I haven't tried Semichrome polish but I'll keep my eyes open and give it a shot next time.
Thanks!!
@@losttogether4ever Look for Simichrome
How do you maintain engine shine/polish ?
I use a good quality polish like mothers metal polish or Autosol every couple of weeks, it works great. Thanks for being a part of our channel.
Got here late. I’d like to blackout the entire engine. Could I paint the entire motor with that black paint or would the covers be better.
You could try and paint the entire motor or cases but I'm not sure it would stick long term preparation is very important!!. You'd probably be better off taking the covers off and having them powder coated. I think Harley Davidson might make some black engine paint but I'm not too sure. Thanks for being a part of our channel!!
Great work, would love to do this on my interceptor.
I've got a question, I put a cover on top of my motorbike few days back thinking the pipes were not too hot ( careless mistake ) , some residue has been stuck on my pipes which is burnt from the cover, any DIY ideas on how to remove it ? And there's lot of spots on my engine case, I tried various metal polishes, but no luck, please help me out if you got a solution.
Thanks.
That sucks, in the past on other bikes where I've had som melted nylon residue on my pipes from riding pants I've had good luck using 000 steel wool and some WD40 as a lubricant for the steel wool, it shouldn't scratch the pipes or case, just go easy and take your time.
@@losttogether4ever Thank you, I shall give this a try.
@@anish10242 did u tries this?if yes do u have any luck or any results?
@@devisettysairam6507 I tried, with lots of effort I was able to remove only a little bit. I took it to the service station, they did a fine job by removing everything with their machine buffing tool, looks brand new now.
Lv it❤️👌
Glad you enjoy it, more to come!!!!
holy moly fk
You are a genius ☺️
Thanks!!
iI think it's easier and faster with a fine brush
It might be but I wanted the lettering to be even throughout with no brush lines, I think the spray paint provides consistency but if you're steady with your hand a brush may be the way to go.
