    This was fun watching Joanna choose her mat and frame. I had watched her stitch this project on her podcast. Perfect choice!

    JUST THE BEST FRAMING and no glare in either natural or shop light. Loved your idea of creating the border for the framed piece.

    This came out so beautiful!!! I couldn't tell though if the final piece had glass? Love watching these these videos as it's so inspiring to know there's framer out there that puts so much thought and care into framing as we do stitching.

      Thank you for your kind words! There is glass on it! It's museum glass which crystal clear and anti-reflective.

    Was the cross stitch ironed ahead of time to get the wrinkles out? You did an amazing job.

    • @PaigeTheFramer
      @PaigeTheFramer  3 роки тому +1

      It wasn't too wrinkled when it arrived, but I did steam it a bit before stretching.

    Beautiful framing result. What kind of glass did you use?

    Looks amazing! Did you use 1/4 or 1/2 inch tags in the tag gun?

    • @PaigeTheFramer
      @PaigeTheFramer  3 роки тому +1

      Thanks Kristy! I used 1/4". That my favorite size for this application.

    I love this. Such a shame I can't frame my piece. It only has a 2" border 😪

    • @PaigeTheFramer
      @PaigeTheFramer  3 роки тому +1

      Smaller than 2 inches isn't impossible, it's just tricky. But totally doable!! Frame that bad boy 😆

      I have sewn strips to the side to make the piece larger.

    What is the device you used to pin the canvas? How did you secure the back (couching or tape)?

    • @PaigeTheFramer
      @PaigeTheFramer  Рік тому

      Hi! It's called and Attach-EZ. You can find it on the website of the same name for purchase. I secure the back with pins or with the fasteners I showed in the video. Depends on my mood 😆

    What is the glue tape you use and where can you get it?

    • @PaigeTheFramer
      @PaigeTheFramer  4 місяці тому

      Hi! It's hand-held ATG. It's so convenient to use. You can get it from a picture framing supply distributor. It's made by 3M.

    Can you give a ballpark figure of how much something like this would cost to get professionally framed?

    • @PaigeTheFramer
      @PaigeTheFramer  2 роки тому

      This one was about $235. Thanks for asking

  • @ieromidotreads8522

    Do you place in spacers?

    • @PaigeTheFramer
      @PaigeTheFramer  2 роки тому

      On this particular piece, no. The double mats keep the glass from touching the stitches. If there were no mats, there would definitely be spacers. Thanks for asking!

    Do you know the name of the cross stitch pattern?

    • @PaigeTheFramer

      I believe it's called Forest by Satsuma Street
