Paul's Extreme Sound Stretch isa free program, very powerful and fun to use, so if u wanna to try it just use google ( :

I love hearing music slowed right down to the extent that rhythms become textures. Class work. Thanks.
wow, the slower the better. This world is too fast anyway.
ABSOLUTELY AMAZING!!!!!!.....been listening for 2 hours now.......cannot get enough of it!
thank you :)
great study music
+monogramadikt Great music should not be studied to. It should be listened to.
Extremely peaceful, very good for drifting off to sleep! :-)
DeryndaDiana That's all it's good for.
thank you. that was wonderful.
Gracias Glass
buena música para trabajar, gracias
I wouldn't say it's relaxing; it actually sounds like a requiem. I like it, though, it fits my mood in these times .
I love this comment.
Remembers me Glenn Branca´s beggining for The Belly of an architect ... very much !

when i am high
didn't you read the description ?
Amazing how the notes form the tableaux of peace, of somnolence before the ripping apart of the earth with the first atomic bomb dropped in Hiroshima. And I am become the destroyer of worlds quoted Oppenheimer.
*Now I am become death. The destroyer of worlds.
Definitely it is work on human brain.
For me it has lost all rests of Glass music, actually, it sounds like Rhys Chatham!

An artist wouldn't ask this question ..
+skidrowsux1977 the fuck are you guys talking about?
+skidrowsux1977 Oh you guys are debating how he affected this piece to make it 'his'. He paul-stretched the fuck out of it, that's how. It's a stop-and-smell-the-roses-in-slow-mo mentality.
But, basically, you can add back-masking reverb on top of regular reverb for an audio signal that's been time-stretched and come up with similar results. The backmasking is the haunting aspect of this. The purpose is to slow down and contemplate life, which this VST invariably causes one to do if put on very high settings.
Nice, but NO! It's not 1500 times slower but really "only" 15.34x times slower, otherwize you wouldn't recognize the music anymore...
now where is "your part" in this ?
Where are YOU adding anything to the song ?
Ominous I find it more than relaxing. The title suggest the comment that President Truman made that he had slept well the night the U.S. dropped the A- Bomb on Hiroshima , Japan , incinerating so many civilians. There is some instrumentation that sounds like Japanese string music that supports that idea.
+Rowan Peterson This piece was written for a movie called "The Truman Show" about a character named Truman whose life is the subject of a reality television show. It has nothing to do with President Harry Truman or the atomic bomb.
+Sidney Barrett I like how all of this actually links it into the indie video game Braid, due to the Manhattan Project. I wouldn't normally expect Hollywood, sound design, video game design, American History, and youtube comments to coalesce this beautifully but this is living proof. Thank you for this allegorical work.
+Rowan Peterson You might be making that connection because Philip Glass, who wrote the music for this, also wrote the music for the documentary The Fog of War, which goes into detail about the whole bombing of Japan.
