I don't think I need to write too much about what this promotion is. If you don't know this is one of the times that Google will actually help you out. Not sure how many more episodes of ICW that I have to upload, at least one maybe two. Very cool to see one of these in full.

I love the Miser's mask. He was 56 years old here.
When I was in junior high from 82-84, this was what I looked forward to on Friday nights at 10:30. A friend told me about it and turned me into a wrestling fan. Been a big Macho Man fan ever since.
This is a pretty damn exciting show open - perfect for the early channel surfing era
It hooks you from the start. So crazy. The ultimate "outlaw" promotion. Love it.
They used to come to Braxton County WV occasionally. I attended a few shows and always sat ringside. I got to talk to Angelo Poffo at the last one I attended. It was a blast.
I watched ICW as a child 45 years ago. We only got to see if when we would visit family a couple times a year. This episode is actually one I watched on their first airing. Talk about bringing back memories.
45 years ago was 1977. This promotion didn't exist in 1977.
@@rowds to hell it didn't.
@@rowds my mistake. 43 years ago.
I'm sorry but I loved ICW. I lived in Lexington when this was on TV there. I was young but watched it every sat. Haha. Hopefully they upload all of the studio shows. This brings back great memories. Thanks for the upload. I'll be watching for more. 🙏
I remember these shows, especially when the Shiek wrestled there. I also remember one show when Angelo Poffo, the Miser, did sit-ups the entire show just to get respect from the fans and his son Lanny (Who was the promotion's top babyface).
I grew up watching ICW from here in Kentucky. It was based in Lexington Ky. Ive always been a fan of Randy Macho Man Savage. I also watched alot of CWA Memphis Wrestling and also a huge Jerry The King Lawler fan. Loved the feud those two had.
Thank you for posting. Such fond memories. Much appreciated.
I love how you can tell this was taped on VHS from TV because of the black & white fade to color from when you hit pause to record or stop to record from the commercials breaks. It always took VHS players a second to catch up to speed before the picture got perfect, & most people tried to save money & recorded in EP or SLP.
If only we knew that we were going to want these later on & recorded on SP. These would be more clear.
Thanks for posting
Armstrong Alley 💪🏽💪🏽💪🏽💪🏽 , once again delivering the "goods".. This is the best wrestling channel on UA-cam.
I appreciate that
@@ArmstrongAlleyand I APPRECIATE YOU
Angelo Poffo was great. RIP 🍻🍻
This is the best era of wrestling
Damn icw was amazing
Noticed someone put the turnbuckles upside down. My ocd kicked in lol.
As a Kentuckian, LOVE it!
RIP Angelo Poffo and your love sons and Kids Randy,Lanny, and Daughter in law Elizabeth. All wrestling Legends your stars shine in Heaven ✨🌌 thank you for the memories.God Bless you.Miss you always.
ICW Randy Savage is the equivalent of Spaghetti Western Clint Eastwood.
How many feds back then used that Midnight Express theme for their shows?
I love these old VHS 📼 TV 📺 recordings.. I truly appreciate 🙏 the hard work this channel [and others] does to share these old recordings. Just imagine how many VHS are sitting in attics and basements, unlabeled and full of old wrestling [and the best ones have all the commercials intact] ... I believe the future will be filled with basement/estate sales hidden wrestling tape gems. Sadly I only have my 1996 to 2001 VHS tapes. But there not rare. All my 80s tapes were taped over and tossed in the trash...
I started recording every show on cable early in 1981: I had close to 1000 VHS tapes of Georgia, Mid Atlantic, WCCW,. AWA, Florida, WWF, Mid South and a few other smaller promos. l recorded them until around 2000. The last l watched any of them they were in decent condition. I lost them all along I with my house in a fire last year.
@@edlutz7218 brother, I feel for you. I also had a house fire during Xmas 2021. Luckily only my daughters room was a total loss,my family VHS and 8mm tapes saved. Also nobody hurt. Ed I hope 🙏 you and your family are well, house fires are devastating 😢
@@jamie.777 thank you. We lost everything but my wife, son and I got out of the house in time
There must be more staff there than the crowd!
So, this is the outlaw promotion that tried to compete with Jerry Jarrett's Continental Wrestling Association. Neat.
Tried?
@@wow77777 and failed
Wasn’t yet CWA. Just “Championship Wrestling.”
That smattering of applause from the TV studio audience, I was part of that smattering.
@@georgemaranville3305 I believe "Championship Wrestling" was the name of their weekly television series.
Watched this as a kid on Channel 4 out of Beckley WVA
With that intro music I thought I was tuning into Coast 2 Coast AM.
Wild Card Line, you're on the air...
Hey I just wanted to call in to say that for the past five years Bigfoots have been fuckin' me in the ass and it hurts!
I was thinking the same thing
I was born and raised in Lexington. Sucks i was born 11 years after it closed.
Boo on the guy who edited the commercials out of this video. I still want to see what bootleg Oscar the Grouch was going to do to that poor sap who was going to throw away a glass bottle...Oh well, maybe he put him through the table with a Macho Man Elbow Drop, theater of the mind's eye I guess.
Buddy you don't know how excited and then disappointed I was when I saw bootleg Oscar the Grouch going through this thing.
Bootleg Oscar had potential.
ICW is now a goodwill
Love it
Rip Rogers was a hot wrestler. Loved his attitude in the ring
"The Hustler" Rip Rogers is a legend. Underrated wrestler and one tough son of a bitch. He could wrestle with anyone and make them look like a million dollars.
Man so agree with you. He was way underrated. Had a good physique and a hot wrestling style.
The Hustler Rip Rogers AKA Benjamin Marion Schwarzkopf ............JK his real name was Mark Sciarra!
Did not know that thanks
I remember hearing that music and seeing some of the promotional material off the Poffos in the North East. I think it was shown by the WWF when they hired Macho Man and Lanny. Since they were co-owners of the ICW, supplying Vince with the promotional material of that company wouldn't have been a problem.
I would love to find some footage of Danny Fargo in ICW. He was fairly popular in Central kentucky and had a few matches with Randy Savage pre WWF days
Loved ICW in FRANKFORT KENTUCKY
Yo that intro music...youre listening to COAST TO COAST AM...with your host...ART BELL... "Tonight's program we have open lines taking your calls"
Good grief I think there's more people in the ring than the audience.
Mophead Watley vs Angelo Poffo!
Is this related to Phil Golden's All-Star Wrestling? The show that Sweet Daddy Watts and Saul Weingroff were on?
If this Roy Bates lost all his matches he shouldve just ended up selling cars!
That dude was rotten af in the ring & also looked like shit. Who was he blowin?
Pistol Pez Whatley former ICW TV Champion Daddy!
Why did ICW settle for Eastern Kentucky, and West Virginia, and not venture across the Ohio river into the state of Ohio? With then 10 million + people, and little to no opposition, you'd think they could have drawn thousands of fans on a regular basis if they would have had television presence.
Like to see the wrestler Radamise not sure of the spelling his finish was called the Devil's Triangle . Excuse my misspelling . Anyone remember him ICW fans ?
Ratamyus was actually Bill Howard who wrestled in mid atlantic Crockett territory
Yes. Savage had a cage match with Ratamyus during their feud. I saw Ratamyus on the undercard of an ICW event...he was managed that night by Ox Baker! Good memories.
Jim Cornette copied using The Midnight Express theme music from watching ICW.
Pistol “Mophead” Pez Watley
Dundee and Lawler are cowards, YEAHHHHHHHHH
Bill The Midget Dundee and Jerry The Queen Lawler!
Dude post all of it.
Two uploads a day isn't enough??
@@ArmstrongAlley clearly it isn’t
And to clarify my post all of it comment, I meant post all the ICW you got.
They beat the crap out of Garvin, but he asked for it.
Question, ever thought about having a Super thanks option on your videos? You have to be eligible with all the videos you're posting and the amount of subscribers you have.
It's impossible to monetize this channel and you can't do Super thanks without being monetized. If you want to shoot some money my way I have a PayPal paypal.me/KrisPLettuce
I understand, so basically UA-cam takes a percentage
@@wrestling782 There is no percentage to take! I make ZERO dollars from UA-cam. I don't own copyrights on any of this. If my videos have ads the money goes to UA-cam and whoever has copyright on the music.
Looked like every night was a sell out crowd, all 25 of them!
Any women’s wrestling?
I have some GLOW but since that's on a streaming service and someone still holds the rights, I'm not gonna mess around with getting my channel taken down.
