I did the same at az , had no ticket, but been a chef I noticed the catering staff walking in, in a big line so I joined the queue with my mate , was given a token for a drink and a meal , my mate bottled it and went out, I ended up seating in the press box and at the end going down some stairs and joining the press conference with davey moyes with Canapé 😂 🎉

Ridiculous suggestion.... Z-cars is iconic. I think it is the best tune of any of the other teams. As soon as it is played the crowd go crazy.

I am a Man United fan and I would strongly suggest that Everton carry on playing the Z Cars theme at the new stadium.
It is part of the DNA of Everton and they should keep it.
Thank goodness this has been brought to attention, a lot of the songs grand old team etc should be dropped and as for z cars just ask any fan under 40 what that is and they haven't got a clue! I have already email the club to drop it when we go to Bramley Moore

Mike Riley was ref for the 2009 semi against Man Utd not Dermot Gallagher but Riley did deny United a penalty but it wasn't Rashford who was fouled as he would've been still a schoolboy then! I wouldn't jettison Z-Cars but I would get rid of those records they play 10-15 mins before kick off as in if you know your history/Spirit of the blues/95 cup final song/We're forever Everton. They're good songs but they've had their day now. I've said for years come 15 mins before kick off they need to switch off the PA and let the fans do our job and build up the atmosphere instead of constantly dropping those tunes.

One of the reasons the energy is being drained out of the fans at Goodison park apart from the style of play is the relentless playing at full blast deafening of those horrendous Everton songs. It starts around 1-30 on a match day and goes on untill after the final whistle. Here We Go , Spirit of the Blues , Forever Everton , Grand old team one after the other after the other on this mind numbing perpetual loop .It's horrible and sucks the.life.out of me.I hate it.A few clubs have a song maybe two and they might play them once on match days but this nonsense Bill Kenwright idea is making me not want to go the game it's soul destroying. Earlier in the season versus Southampton the DJ was playing the songs when the managers were picking the penalty takers I was like WTF are they doing here .I honestly have nightmares over it 😮😢..It needs to go at BMD all the old stale shite needs to go it has the stench of Kenwright all over it.
Can’t argue with any of that, mate. And I completely missed that before the pens against Southampton. That’s nuts. A couple of rousing songs before kick off is fine (‘rousing’ being the main criteria) but would love to hear more local bands being played before kick off and at half time.
As a distant, now non visiting fan I have to cede the moral highground to you. Do you think yours is the majority view? I'm genuinely interested to know.
@@cavandavidson1185it’s the first time I’ve really thought about it. I imagine most would want to keep it but have no idea. As I said, for me it’s the songs beforehand that need replacing. The atmosphere in the ground really has been flat though. We’ve picked this up on other shows - feels like it’s down to the predictability of the football.
Yeah I think the play has been grim for a while. I appreciate Dyche for keeping us up but I guess Friedkin will .ake a change. I am slightly nervous of the Roma experience, I.e., 3 managers this season!

Z cars theme well outdated. It came in as B rated series which was dropped after one series. PL clubs have better Anthems. Lpool adopted a song which was scouse YNWA that became World famous Can’ t respond to Z cars unless we humm to it. Get rid.

I reckon keep it but use more rousing ‘anthems’ before it to try and get the crowd up. It’s so flat before kick off now.
