The Garrick Snug was my dad's local. Those car parks were all terraced houses, hundreds of them, with shops along Claughton Road (where I lived). I left B'head in 74 and they'd been pulled down already, going back in the 80s to go down memory lane was a shock, everything had changed, I suppose for the better. I remember having a happy childhood though. Woolly but proud.
@@peterwilliams8922 haha! Same here, mate. I grew up in Claughton Village in the 80s and remember when the Pyramids was just an open car park. The Garrick Snug has always been there - some going that for a small pub.
