Guitar: 2021 Stefan Nitschke "Hauser" SP/CSAR - www.guitarsalo...
Here's Marcin Kuźniar performing Francisco Tarrega's arrangement of "Nocturne Op. 9, No. 2" by Frédéric Chopin. Marcin recorded this piece on a 2021 Stefan Nitschke "Hauser" classical guitar made with spruce top and CSA rosewood back and sides. Recorded at the Guitar Salon International showroom in Santa Monica, CA.

That was church. Take a gorgeous tune and play it like you are proposing to the one you love. Thanks for gifting us this performance.
Interpretazione tesa e densa di passione, romantica e pura.
Di grande spessore e rilevanza l'approccio tecnico.
Ho apprezzato l'esecuzione!
👏👏👏

Brilliant
Why do Chopin’s nocturnes convey a sense that there’s a sub-text? Something that I’ve pondered from time to time.
Grazie
Perfeito!
Hermoso ❤🎉
Excellent
There is a popular song written to this. Something about don't live in the past
This is the most mexican nocturne ive ever heard in my life
He needs a sombrero
@@Coffee993he needs some cowboy boots, a cowboy hat, a deep cowboy voice, a white plaid button up, some baggy cowboy blue jeans and a handlebar moustache
Very nice rendition, better on the guitar for the tonality.
I like K. Minami's arrangement soooo much more than Tarrega's.
Eléonore Bertha. Le thé
Tienen mucho efecto de cámara; no se aprecia bien el sonido de esa guitarra.
not sure why tarrega felt that he needed to add some noodling sections to this piece, or why performers think they should play them…. still, really beautifully played overall here
Tárrega's arrangements were usually an exploration of guitar technique on his part. I believe his intention, rather than trying to be faithful to the piano version, was to demonstrate or seek expressive resources, as the guitar was not a very popular instrument in his time. On the other hand, it was not uncommon for performers, especially in the early 20th century, to add musical material or modify the pieces they played 😊
AFAIK the classic composers like Chopin didn't play pieces identically every time. The canonization of pieces and how they are to be played is a much more modern development.
@@airamdeveraramos8236@blahblah49000 i appreciate these replies. my point is less against the practice than it is against tarrega’s particular choices here. to my ears these additions aren’t suited at all to this piece, and tend to ruin that steady pulse so important to it! by the end of the last addition, i’ve almost forgotten what piece i’m listening to ! perhaps it is just me
@@miralupa8841agree some of Tarregas additions are unnecessary. The music is ornate enough as is.
Not a fan of the extra nonsense. Well played, though.
1:47-1:51. why?
