I can still remember hearing Welcome to the Black Parade for the first time in 2006, I was 14. My musical taste changed so much afterwards, it introduced me to the alternative scene and I’m so grateful for that. My Chemical Romance has always been and always will be one of my favourite bands 🖤

So being a Gen X SoCal punk, I always found emo to be "whiny watered down punk". It wasn't until a couple years ago, when my son got into MCR that I gave them a real chance. I'm glad I did. They are actually a great band. Now we are going to see them in LA this October.

I’ll carry onnnnnnn 🎵 🎶 I got to see these guys for this album tour. I took my cousin for her birthday because I dug them a lot but they were her favorite band. Needless to say MCR totally crushed it live. TCFSR is my favorite album from them, but it can’t be denied that this album brought emo way more into the mainstream lexicon
