Someone's been watching the warreners old ways of the poacher 1,,his father called them a running stick or a runner,, you can see them in use on the dvd.
nice your drag is a guide stick too and you can use your stick for dispatch and then use the stick for roasted rotisserie rabbit.Great idea using a natural drag for a guide too.
Great way to trap, Seen it once before, trail can also be easy to follow using this method, not that hard to locate if you know how to see marks created in the ground and through vegetation by stick. Reminds me... Rabbit and Nettles... Yummy!
Alot off keepers are very aware off drags! I used too be one in the seventys modern day keepers ain't so sharp! As it happens I'm off shortly snaring bunny's in devon!
Not many gamekeepers left in Britain and the majority left are old boys who I doubt could use UA-cam lol . I admit there's a few young uns still in the sport but they work on country estates not in local woodland
@@danielobriot3116 Ooops! My bad! 😁 Where's here, the USA? We have the European rabbit here in the UK it's a prolific breeder and digger of holes where it then has it's young...... Which is why it's classed as a pest species here and can be hunted all year around.
Good idea mate. This is a good way to get fox too. But with a much bigger stick. Iv thought about using a long tether cord for a snare and leaving a pvc pipe nearby hoping they will hide in that.
Good stuff, my friend, never seen this before, I'm up here in Bonny Scotland. (Gods occasional holiday destination) An have never seen a rabbit yet this year 3/11/21. Ain't seen mixie for a good few seasons, so it's not that. So what the fucks going on. Love an Light Chris.
